"The location is excellent as it is within business district, shopping area and XTD with all fine dinning and gathering options. Furthermore, the room is clean and the staff are very friendly and supportive. So whatelse do anyone need if they were travelling for business, pleasure or just a short trip. The only thing I miss is that the hotel currently does not have a lounge that would allow the residents and tehir friends to enjoy the view."

"Overall, I had a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped, with a large refrigerator and an excellent washing machine. The view was lovely, and the hotel is conveniently located next to a large shopping mall with plenty of restaurants, shops, and a great supermarket, making it very convenient for longer stays. Although the hotel is not so close to Shanghai’s main tourist attractions, the metro station is just a few minutes away, making it easy to get around the city. I would especially like to give five stars to the front desk service because of Aron. He was consistently professional, polite, and genuinely helpful. He went out of his way to assist with every request and made a real difference to my experience. Unfortunately, my experience with another front desk staff member was quite different. She did not speak English and, when I called to report an issue with the washing machine, she simply said “no English” and hung up. On another occasion, I asked for assistance with making a reservation, but she seemed unwilling to help. While I understand that not everyone is expected to speak fluent English, a willingness to assist or find a colleague who can help is important in the hospitality industry. Thankfully, Aron’s outstanding customer service more than made up for this experience. Thanks to him, I left with a very positive impression of the hotel and would happily stay here again."

"Quite close to the metro station and to shopping mall area. Clean, big room, comfy bed, sofa etc. The only problem was that the 5G signal was weak in my room, but WiFi was quite fast. Also: washing machine is only available if you make a booking for at least a month worth of stay, so be careful when booking. It's weird, cause the washing machine is right there in the room, but the note attached to it says not to use it, so I didn't, even though the room description on trip.com says the washing machine is usable. I booked an option without a window, but was surprised to actually have a window with a so-so view. Maybe if you book the same option as me you won't get a window, so be careful."

It was super convenient for visiting the lantern festival and grabbing snacks – just a few steps away. The Bund is also an easy 10-15 minute walk, so getting around was a breeze. The room had great natural light, and the housekeeping was meticulous. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, and both the air conditioning and shower worked perfectly. The front desk staff were patient, and check-in was smooth. Overall, it was quiet and not noisy. Compared to other places in the same price range, this hotel clearly stands out. It's perfect whether you're traveling as a couple or with friends, and I honestly recommend it to anyone visiting Yu Garden."

The room was exceptionally clean; the bathroom and bedding corners were all perfectly tidied, with no strange odors. The mattress and pillows were just right – not too soft, not too firm – and the soundproofing was excellent, allowing for a very peaceful night's sleep. All the toiletries and appliances were well-stocked. It's fantastic value for money, perfect for both business trips and leisure travel. "I came to Shanghai to visit a friend, and as two girls, we were most afraid of choosing a 'catfishing' Airbnb, but this one truly surprised me. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was: it's spacious! The floor-to-ceiling windows let all the sunlight in, making the entire living room bright and airy. We spread our suitcases on the floor to pack and unpack, and there was still plenty of room to walk around, no need to squeeze past each other. The sofa was wide enough that we could sprawl out on it, eating takeout and binge-watching shows for an entire afternoon. What I liked most was the excellent attention to safety details. The windows had safety locks, so they couldn't be opened too wide; the cabinet doors all had soft-close hinges, so they closed gently without slamming. My friend said I was 'overthinking things,' but when you're staying alone somewhere, these details really add a lot of value. The kitchen, though small, had everything: microwave, induction cooker, pots, pans, and tableware. One evening, we bought frozen dumplings from the downstairs supermarket and cooked them, and my friend even fried two eggs. We sat at the dining table, eating and chatting, which was even more comfortable than eating out at a restaurant. The washing machine with a dryer was an absolute lifesaver. One afternoon, it suddenly rained, and we got two jackets soaked. We threw them in to wash and dry, and they were ready to wear out again that evening. No need to bring a pile of extra clothes; my suitcase felt half as light. At night, we dimmed the lights, turned on the projector, and snuggled on the sofa to watch a movie. With the curtains drawn, it felt like a mini-cinema. The subway station is right downstairs, it's a ten-minute bike ride to the Bund, and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street is within walking distance. The location is simply unbeatable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Shanghai."

The kitchenware was well-stocked, allowing me to easily cook some small dishes, which was really convenient. The washing machine was also great; it wasn't too noisy, and my clothes were washed and dried by the time I woke up, which was super helpful."

"The environment is quite good; the hotel is relatively new, clean, and tidy. Most guests are young people, and there's no smell of smoke. For just over 100 yuan, it offers great value for money. Although the room I booked wasn't big, it had a bed, air conditioning, and a private bathroom, which was sufficient. The hotel is located inside a shopping mall, so you don't have to worry about food and drinks. There's a bus stop right outside, shared bikes are available, and a subway station is just a few hundred meters away. Very satisfied."
