"Hotel were offering late checkouts to guests who left 5* reviews, so I feel that the reviews have been artificially inflated by people rating 5* so that they can get late checkout. Location was quite far from the JR Namba station and even further from the metro Namba station. The bed was really hard and uncomfortable. Bathroom was tiny, kitchenette had a raised lip which was easy to trip over or stub your toes on. However, the size of the room was good, there was a good amount of space. It would be ok to spend a night or two here but I think we were there 5 nights which wasn’t great with the uncomfortable bed. When we checked in we were told a room number of an uncleaned room and had to ring out of hours to swap rooms, but that was all resolved quickly by the hotel. Also to note, the keyboxes didn’t feel very safe/ secure because the codes followed a pattern (so if you knew one you’d know the other rooms), but we didn’t use the lockbox except for when we checked in so it didn’t affect us, but just something to consider. Overall it was ok for a budget hotel but I think the reviews make it seem too good to be true!"

"This is a really great hotel, and it's our second time staying here as a family. It's super close to the city center of Namba, and there are so many department stores with fantastic shopping. When the kids get tired in the afternoon, they can easily rest up. It's also convenient to just buy some wagyu or seafood from the Takashimaya supermarket and cook it yourself. This was my first time choosing the two-bedroom, one-living room, two-bathroom layout. It's a bit of a shame that the master bedroom faces the elevated highway, which unfortunately generated quite a bit of vehicle wind noise. If you're sensitive to noise, you might want to avoid the two-bedroom, one-living room, two-bathroom units, or request a higher floor."

"Good value for money in Osaka. You can walk from Teradacho Station, and it's cheaper than staying near Namba. There's a Don Quijote nearby, so you can easily walk there to shop."

"Room is nice and clean, and has all basic amenities for traveling. Really spacious by Japanese standards. There is a small fridge, kettle, oven and washing/drying machine in the room, plus we used microwave on the first floor. Walls are a little bit thin, so sometimes you can hear neighbors, but it seems common for all Japanese apartments. Self check-in is really quick and convenient. The location is perfect, just 3-5 minutes to Namba station (perfect for traveling around Osaka) and 7-10 minutes to Dotonbori, there's a lot of restaurants nearby. Overall the stay was good, totally recommend it! 👍"

"The room was small but pretty clean. The only downside was no bathtub, which felt a bit strange for a trip to Japan! The soundproofing wasn't great – I could hear the subway and noises from the next room, so light sleepers should be aware. However, the bed and pillows were really comfortable! The location was excellent, less than a 10-minute walk straight to the subway, and there's a large supermarket right across the street."

"The guesthouse's location is incredibly convenient. It's a 30-minute ride on the Nankai Airport Line to Tengachaya Station, followed by a straightforward 30-minute walk. Alternatively, the Yotsubashi Line's Hanazonocho Station is even closer, just under a 5-minute walk across the road and along Hanazonocho Hondori, offering direct access to Namba and Shinsaibashi. There's also Shin-Imamiya JR Station, which is a bit further, about 1.2 km or a 15-minute walk. Check-in was a breeze; upon arrival, you simply collect your keys from the mailbox in the room to the right of the main entrance. Daily trash disposal is easy – just take your rubbish downstairs to the large bin located to the left inside the gated area. The lobby provides handy supplies like trash bags, fresh towels, and toothbrushes. Room amenities are excellent and the space is ample, which is a big advantage of guesthouses over hotels. There's a microwave, pots, pans, and dishes, so you can buy groceries and prepare simple meals. A washing machine with detergent and a drying rack on the balcony are also provided. Before booking, I was quite concerned about the noise issues mentioned in other reviews, and I was a bit apprehensive before my trip. I was assigned a third-floor room not facing the train line, and while it was a lower floor, I had read reviews saying rooms on the opposite side were also noisy. However, my personal experience was that there was no sound at all. Even when trains passed, the noise wasn't significant, unless you're an extremely light sleeper who needs absolute quiet. Personally, I don't see it as an issue. For those like us, staying in a room on the opposite side, we didn't hear any track noise at all. Plus, the hotel offers direct views of Abeno Harukas and Tsutenkaku, both about a 30-minute walk away. I even went up to the 9th floor to catch the sunset. Overall, this guesthouse offers great value for money. While it's true there are some homeless people in the area to the right, it still feels very safe and doesn't affect your travel plans. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Osaka."

"We had a pleasant 1-night stay in Osaka as a family of 4. The room was clean and equipped with 2 double beds, with enough space for all of us to stay comfortably. The location was convenient, and the check-in process was smooth despite there being no on-site lobby staff, remote assistance was available, and the instructions provided at the lobby were clear and easy to follow. Overall, a clean, comfortable, and hassle-free stay."

"Out of the entire 10 day trip, this hotel was the best one out of all 4 hotels we've been to. My mum was sick and had a fever. We went to the hotel early to check in, and the cleaner lady was very very kind to let us sit in a random room first for my mum to rest. She even cleaned our room first for my mum to rest earlier. It was clean, had a washing machine, microwave, fridge with freezer, a couch, a smart TV, a airconditioner with a remote (surprisingly this is note worthy, because other hotels we had to get up to adjust the temperature) . All of these made the room even more comfortable, as we didnt need to travel to other levels of the hotel just to get water or microwave food. The bed was very comfortable, and one of the most comfortable sleep I had the whole trip. I would have loved to stay longer at this hotel, and if I go back to Osaka, this hotel is definitely going to be the hotel I book again. The check in and check out process was smooth and easy. Kudos to the team."

"We stayed here with our family and were very impressed by how clean everything was. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and felt very fresh and comfortable throughout our stay. The space was also very spacious, making it easy to relax even with a lot of luggage. The stroller rental service was very helpful for traveling with a child, and it made our stay much more convenient. The location was excellent, with easy access to nearby stations and attractions, so getting around was very smooth. The front desk staff were kind and helped us with the check-in process, which made everything easy and stress-free. The room was also well-equipped with a kitchen, tableware, washing machine, and bathroom dryer, making it perfect for both short and long stays. Overall, it was an extremely clean, comfortable, and satisfying stay, and we would definitely stay here again."
