Resort ni sesuai untuk staycation with family/solo. Ada swimming pool for adults and kids dan betul2 sebelah dengan pantai. Tepi pantai tu pun ada beach lounger chair so that you can sit and enjoy the sea view. Bilik pun sangat aesthetic, ada tempat untuk lepak. Really love the ambience and the view sangat sesuai untuk tenangkan jiwa! Sini ada provide breakfast lunch and dinner. Untuk makanan saya rasa level biasa2 je. Maybe can improve the taste of the food and the varieties of it and maybe can promote terengganu dish also macam nasi kerabu nasi dagang and keropok lekor. Cleanliness pun average je sebab boleh nampak stain2 dekat pintu and cermin bilik air and utilities pun macam kinda old tapi ok je la. Anyway i think this stay with their price is still reasonable.

Park the car in his area. Self care but there is CCTV. His swimming pool is small so you have to find a suitable time to take a shower if you don't want to connect with other children/families. The room is big so comfortable for prayer. Iron is not okay because w/even install the most slow but can be burned. Towels smell a little bit, pillows are thin. Aircond is cold. Environmental is safe. Can walk across the road to go to the beach. W/even working day book but full room. Congratulations & thank you.

The Perhentian Islands in Malaysia are a true paradise, easily earning the title of the 'Malaysian Maldives.' I chose the Perhentian Island Resort, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. The hotel is located on the main Perhentian island, right on the edge of a lagoon with crystal-clear turquoise waters. Nearby, there's a picturesque coral reef and a pristine white sand beach adorned with palm trees, reminiscent of exotic 'Bounty' advertisements. Guests are offered secluded bungalows with terraces, most of which boast panoramic sea views. The hotel grounds feature a well-maintained swimming pool and a tennis court. Despite their simplicity, the rooms are equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. The buffet breakfasts cater to a wide range of tastes and national preferences, offering fresh and delicious dishes. The hotel is also home to a variety of wildlife: you can spot squirrels, monitor lizards, newts, frogs, and bats. But the real treat was observing a family of spectacled langurs, who seemed to be enjoying their vacation in this natural haven too! The very next day after arriving, I went on a snorkeling tour, which allowed me to see the island from different angles, including other hotels and beaches inaccessible from the shore. Subsequent walks around the island, exploring its jungle, checking out other accommodations, and even visiting a neighboring islet, firmly convinced me that choosing Perhentian Island Resort was the right decision. The beach, the prevailing peace and quiet, and the comfortable atmosphere—it's pure bliss! I will definitely be back!

can't find any reasonable pricing hotel in Terengganu due to they lack of nice hotel that is within the budget. The beach is nice to enjoy but the room are not that great due to it's age... everything still stays in 60s style that never changes. The room's door are still using keys to lock and the room itself are quite dark to enjoy a good night sleep...Morning Buffet aren't great and lack of choices...

From the smooth check-in until check-out, every moment made our stay truly enjoyable, memorable, and relaxing. We had a very happy experience at the resort and would highly recommend Tanjong Jara Resort to our family and friends. It is definitely one of the best resort choices in Terengganu. We initially had a frustrating experience as our towels were delivered quite late. However, the situation was handled professionally by Manager Iza, who personally delivered the towels to our room and sincerely apologized for the delay. Her prompt action and attention to guests made a positive difference. Overall, the rooms were spacious and comfortable. We booked four rooms and requested them to be located near each other, which the hotel successfully accommodated. However, housekeeping services need improvement, as one of our rooms was not serviced and there were some inconsistencies in room maintenance during our stay. The hotel’s location is excellent and very convenient. It is close to everything we needed, with Restoran Singgang Budu located right beside the hotel. There are also laundry facilities nearby, and plenty of food options within walking distance, making it a great choice for travelers. The staff were friendly, always smiling, and genuinely tried their best to accommodate our requests throughout our stay. While housekeeping could be improved, the service recovery by the management team and the hotel’s strategic location made our overall stay enjoyable.

If you're visiting KT for the food and shopping, you can't beat this spot. It’s within walking distance to KTCC Mall and Mayang Mall, and the Drawbridge (Jambatan Angkat) is just a short drive away. We stayed in a Superior Deluxe room which was surprisingly spacious. The breakfast at the rooftop café was a highlight—not just for the local flavors, but for the stunning view of the coast. While the décor is a bit dated (the carpets have seen better days), the staff's friendliness and the high water pressure in the shower made up for it. Great value for money if you're looking for a base to explore the city

But a night at Sutra Beach Resort? That’s a whole different story. The moment you step into the resort, it feels like you’ve entered a slower, calmer world. No chaos. No rush. Just the soothing rhythm of the ocean guiding your entire experience. It’s the kind of place where time doesn’t just slow down — it almost stops. I started my stay with a simple walk along the beach. Barefoot, feeling the sand, listening to the waves… and suddenly, everything else didn’t matter anymore. That’s the magic of this place — it pulls you into the present moment without even trying. The facilities are just enough to keep you comfortable without distracting you from the real highlight: nature. Whether it’s lounging by the pool, enjoying the sea breeze, or just sitting under the shade doing absolutely nothing — every second feels intentional. And then came the sunset. Honestly, pictures don’t do it justice. The sky exploded into colors, and for a moment, it felt like the whole world paused just to admire it. People gathered quietly, watching, smiling — strangers sharing a beautiful moment together. Nighttime brought a completely different vibe. Calm, cool, and incredibly peaceful. The stay was great and hassle free especially if you arrive at Pasir Panjang jetty (Long Beach) then it’s just a few minutes walk to the reception. Room was great but not exactly a wow affair. Daily replenishment of canned drinks and some snacks by the housekeeping service. A few complaints: The wifi in the room was horrible because they had multiple SSID and some of them did not work. Even going from the bedroom to the balcony require finding a different SSID. I suggest that the hotel hire a proper network tech who can advise on getting a unified Wifi SSID. It’s 2026. The technology is already there. Also the A/C compressor is placed at the same vicinity where you would sit so the blowing hot air was like a sauna. Suggestion for improvement: Put in water dispenser so that you don’t need to provide too many plastic bottles per day. I’ve seen some hotels and resorts doing this so it’s not beyond the realm of possibility. Just imagine how many plastic bottles being disposed everyday for such a small island. Overall, great little hotel/resort with nice view and excellent, modern architecture. There were just some niggling issues and practices that could easily be fixed, in my opinion.
