"The hotel is conveniently located on the right side when you exit Cambridge train station, about a 2-minute walk. The room was quite spacious, but for some reason, the water pressure was really weak. The air conditioning was nice and cold though. It's about a 10-minute bus ride to Cambridge's famous attractions."

"The restaurant service was friendly, but the food was just so-so. The hotel itself is quite new, and the room was very clean, with housekeeping tidying up daily (without any 'save energy' requests). The room window was small and couldn't be opened. There's no kitchen, washing machine, or bathtub. The wardrobe is small, and the fridge didn't seem to cool very well. The location is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the train station, and the bus stop is only 3 minutes away. There's a supermarket and a cafe right downstairs. It's a 20-minute walk to the city center, or a 4-minute Uber ride. There aren't any other restaurants nearby, so you'll definitely need to head into the city center for dining options!"

"I stayed there for several days in a row. I only had one room card, which I accidentally left in the room. For this reason, the front desk lady remembered me and gave me two cards. There is a park and a traffic light outside the hotel, and it only takes a few minutes to walk to the downtown area. Peterborough is a nice city, small but complete, with a large cathedral and a sense of historical architecture."

"We came up to Cambridge for my Husband‘s birthday myself and our five month old baby. The hotel was conveniently next to Cambridge. North which  was great and had great transportation links into Cambridge. I did ask for a little birthday treat from my husband the day of arrival and i  had called earlier to confirm but sadly when we arrived this wasn’t done when I did flag they apologise and gave us a voucher for drinks which was okay overall it was a good time. Good location the bedroom the bed could’ve been a bit bigger. I’ve stayed in other Novotel hotels where a queen size bed is actually a queen size bed."

"A dream hotel! This was my absolute favorite hotel during my UK trip, bar none. The rooms are exquisite. We booked two rooms this time, a loft suite and a king room. The price difference wasn't huge, but the suite was incredible – it had a kitchen, a living room, and a bedroom, it was fantastic. The air conditioning worked great, and the breakfast was delicious. It's about 1km from Cambridge University, easily accessible. There are temporary parking spots out front, and overnight parking in the basement, so no worries there. Two points for domestic travelers to note: 1. The EV charging station app in the basement cannot be downloaded or used by iPhones in mainland China or Hong Kong. Friends with electric cars should be aware of this. 2. The immediate area isn't particularly safe. When I went to the supermarket, I noticed that the people around seemed a bit questionable, especially if you go further north. For those concerned about safety, just avoid wandering around the area at night. The hotel itself is excellent and meets most needs."

"The environment is great, and the location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk from the boating dock! The hotel's own restaurant has a wonderful ambiance! However, the front desk service was mediocre, and there was no notification that breakfast times differ between weekdays and weekends. There's no bellhop service either. The dinner at the restaurant was just so-so, and the breakfast selection was limited, with unappetizing fruit. The restaurant service was also subpar."

"Been 3 times now. The hotel is a great place for a relaxing break. The spa facilities and pool are lovely and it was a bonus to enjoy the waterside outdoor area in the warm weather. Very comfortable bed and nicely furnished room. Good to find a fan in the wardrobe! The breakfast food was of good quality but the arrangements were a bit disorganised this morning. Crockery etc was hard to find/ missing, clearer labels were needed e.g a label on the hot water container and soya milk labelled correctly. It was called ”oat milk”. The bar menu is a bit limited in my opinion. Just little details but the overall experience was very good. Sure I'll be back."

"I had a very pleasant stay. The location is excellent just a short walk from the train station and within easy reach of the city centre and riverside areas. The hostel was clean, well organised, and felt safe throughout my stay. My room was simple but comfortable, with clean bedding and sufficient storage space. The shared bathrooms were well maintained and regularly cleaned. The staff were friendly, professional, and happy to help with directions and local tips, which made settling in very easy. I also appreciated the communal areas, which were relaxed and suitable for catch up with other travellers or just unwinding after a day of sightseeing. Overall, this hostel offers very good value for money and is a great choice for budget-conscious travellers visiting the city."

Great location, excellent service, and a lovely breakfast! The room was very clean and tidy, and the staff at breakfast were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was included in the price, which made the stay even better value. There is a huge open field and a very clean river right next to the hotel. You can see people practising rowing, and walking along both sides of the river is really relaxing. There are also mallards and swans nearby, and you can buy special swan food from the hotel bar to feed them. I originally chose this place because the town is close to Cambridge and the price was reasonable, but I ended up really enjoying the town itself. With such a beautiful location, good service, and affordable price, this hotel is definitely great value for money.

This is a very old hotel, the hotel is a bit old, but the room is large, the hotel is good, the only drawback is that there is no elevator on the second floor, but the overall stay experience is still good, the best choice for family travel, facilities are also very good!

The hotel is conveniently located on the right side when you exit Cambridge train station, about a 2-minute walk. The room was quite spacious, but for some reason, the water pressure was really weak. The air conditioning was nice and cold though. It's about a 10-minute bus ride to Cambridge's famous attractions.

Facilities: The room was great, with a super beautiful view right outside the window. The entire hotel felt very historic and full of character. However, there's no elevator, which could be a hassle if you have large luggage. Service: Huge thanks to the two staff members who helped carry our luggage up and down the stairs. The front desk staff's overall service attitude was decent. Location: It's very close to the Cambridge community, making it quite convenient for getting around.

We had a lovely room. Excellent location to travel to Duxford air museum, or for train into Cambridge. We were driving, so paid £10 for overnight parking. Thought this was ok, as if we'd not had car then we'd have had benefit of not incurring that charge. The breakfast was ok. The service at breakfast though was really poor, not I think down to the staff who were on, but the lack of staff, thus a management issue perhaps. When we went into breakfast there wasn't a single clean available table. We had to move used things from one, cleaned table myself. We were in there about 20 minutes, and I saw the items that had been left on other tables stayed there, and those I'd moved stayed too. There wasn't enough cutlery out - I asked for more, and heard others doing the same later. It felt chaotic. Just not staffed well enough - the receptionist was helping out too with breakfast. Though the room was good in terms of its facilities, size, cleanliness, the shower had a big problem. It was a wet room, which was fine, but weirdly the floor seemed to slant the wrong way (I later realised) as the water from the shower spread across the entire bathroom, soaked my clothes that I'd left at the furthest point away (nowhere to put them than on the floor), and almost went under the door into the room itself. I just realised what was happening in time. There wasn't one of those floor wipers you often get in a wet room to wipe the floor, so though it did slowly go down the plug hole, the whole bathroom floor was left very wet, and I had to use towels to dry it a bit. I mentioned it to the receptionist as a complaint; she just said she would pass it on. A nice hotel in a good location, the issues I mention hopefully will get sorted. I would stay again, but now forewarned.

We came up to Cambridge for my Husband‘s birthday myself and our five month old baby. I’ve stayed in other Novotel hotels where a queen size bed is actually a queen size bed.

Stayed 3 nights so that we could visit family and friends in the area. Booked a twin room which had adequate space for 2 of us and separate area with small table and chairs if needed. Beds were comfortable and the room was warm (once I was shown how to activate the heating) Unfortunately the bathroom was very cold as the hotel boiler needed repair so the radiator wasn’t working. Otherwise we had a pleasant stay. The hotel is quite dated and in need of an upgrade which is on the planning. The staff were super friendly and helpful, especially when I realised I’d left my own personal pillow on the bed. They tracked it down and a friend collected for me the next day. Definitely stay agin when next in the area.
