"The staff is wonderful. The round-trip boat transfer is $130 (round trip) (1.5 hours). The food was good (water, tea, and American coffee are included in the meal) (we took FB). Lunch or dinner is $20. No alcohol. There are theme nights and small, rare tea parties before dinner. There are many paid excursions. They take you to a nearby local island for souvenirs for free. The selection is slightly larger than here. There is a daily evening feeding of sharks and rays. The room had wallpaper that was peeling at the seams everywhere (No. 721), which spoiled the overall pleasant experience. Air conditioning, a kettle, a refrigerator, water, tea, coffee, and an ironing board with an iron are all in the room. The TV in the room is like a picture - TV programs and there is no internet connection. As a result, you can stream movies or YouTube through the phone. The bar has all sorts of bezal. Drinks, from cocktails to beer and wine, are all paid. The beach is long, and there were always enough sun loungers. The canopies/awnings are unsightly, ruining the romantic, civilized atmosphere. There's also a large construction site along the beach, but it's not much of a concern—people work lazily and sporadically. Coconut palms with falling fruit are everywhere. The snorkeling is decent. The beach is mostly coral with occasional sandy outcrops up to the reef edge, where there are almost always waves. At the edge of the reef, we saw sleeping stingrays, a turtle, and other fish that can be found without swimming beyond the reef edge. There are high and low tides. We didn't use the pool, gym, or spa. Nearby, there are souvenir shops, a minimarket with chips, etc. There's also a cafe that the locals frequent. The island is small. Vacationers are mostly Italian. The staff spoke English and Italian. The hotel provided welcome and farewell souvenirs. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay – I highly recommend it!"

"Stay here for 4days 3 nights. Once arrived jetty, the girl called Kiran serve us and lead us to villa. They did informed us earlier about the renovation and no sea view for sea view room. Kiran is mostly on night shift but she is very kind and helpful. She can understand your need and help us did the dinner table decoration for Birthday night. They provided the drone shooting with stingray, we experienced it and quite recommend. Room is clean, staff there also will ask if we need room service, the mattress are thick, air con is cool enough, mineral water can get easily outside the room. They did provide welcome drink and cool towel. Bathroom is prepared with shampoo and body shower but there is no toothbrush and toothpaste (need to prepare ourself, but if they can improved is good). Room also have a mirror and one inside the toilet. Hair dryer provided. Overall is perfect. One thing unsatify is about the mosquito, the reception counter and the cafe area have a lot of mosquito, hopefully they can provide the mosquito repellent spray as the mosquito is really affect the mood and environment. The food that they provide is nice, morning is buffet style and dinner sometimes is food ordering and sometimes is buffet. Maybe can improve on this by print out a memo before dining time so everyone alert with the arrangement today but not told by staff on the spot of ordering food. The day we left have to take the morning flight and very nice of them they prepared us the packed breakfast. I strongly recommend this villa as i really value their service and hospitality, very staff in their cafe all service with smile."

"We booked a speedboat to the island. You'll need to go to the counter and ask other people, or call the hotel directly. They'll tell you who to meet and where, so you can get on the boat smoothly. The hotel is fantastic, a relatively new five-star property. We stayed in a water villa, and while the private pool was a bit small, everything else was excellent. You can see lots of little fish, and even the island owner! The food was also delicious, even if it wasn't entirely to our usual taste. We spent three wonderful nights here and hope to come back again."

"The room is clean, but in the bathroom there is no tissue paper. There is no non-bottled drinking water available outside the room for guests to fill it by themselves. The owner doesn't speak English fluently, communication may be a little difficult, but he tried to communicate with us."

"We were picked up at the Velana airport after an overnight stay at the local island, with transfer fee of $40 USD per person to take the speedboat to Fulidhoo, where Kinan Retreat is at. After alighting from the jetty at Fulidhoo, it's a short 5 mins walk to the Retreat. Welcome drinks and hot hand towels were offered. We missed the morning excursion trip but decided to go for it the next day. The room provided can have an extra bed for $15 USD. Fulidhoo is a small local island but it's the favorite hangout for stingrays and nurse sharks. You will be able to spot these lovely creatures around the shore, especially near evening time when there are people who start feeding them. You will be able to get up close and even touch them, but with caution. We went on an evening fishing trip that cost $45 USD per person, inclusive of a BBQ dinner for the dishes that were caught. On the next day before leaving for our resort island stay, we took the excursion trip to see dolphins, snorkeling with nurse sharks at SharkPoint and went turtle spotting, all these for $40 USD per person. Underwater videos were captured and shared by WhatsApp. Great service by the counter lady Shahidah. I will recommend this Retreat to visitors, and you will not be disappointed with the time spent on the island."

"The island selection was very successful. In addition to the speedboat being a little far away (acceptable for more than an hour), there is also a seaplane option. The service response, accommodation hardware and snorkeling environment are all great. There are no mosquitoes on the island, and the water houses are even more comfortable and great. The sun set water house is closer to the trench and more suitable for snorkeling. The other water houses have more beautiful sea water colors, and the sand houses look very good. There is not much publicity, and even if the occupancy rate is relatively high, it is still very quiet. The island is not too big or too small, and it is not very tiring to walk and the sea water is beautiful. It is not hot for several days. Everything feels great. The breakfast can be changed more every day! I will come again in the future! The atmosphere of the water house is also good at night, not scary at all"

"While centrally located on the island, it's incredibly convenient to reach both beaches. It's just a few minutes' walk from the jetty, and if you arrange it in advance, they'll provide a pick-up service. On the nearby beaches, you can have amazing close encounters with stingrays and nurse sharks. The guesthouse is spotlessly clean, and guests are asked to leave their shoes downstairs. The Wi-Fi signal in the rooms was also excellent. Our booking included full board (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). The food they served was delicious; while the variety wasn't huge, the portions were always generous. The service from front desk staff Shariq and restaurant attendant Susmita was truly exceptional. I wholeheartedly recommend Madi Grand Maldives. For excursions, book directly with Shariq; the small group sizes mean you'll have a much more fulfilling experience."

"Останавливались в этом отеле на три ночи Это тихое и уютное место для отдыха с семьей. Персонал отеля супер позитивный и отзывчивый. По прибытии нас встретил сотрудник отеля и помог донести наши чемоданы до номера. В отеле нам дали приветственный напиток и холодные полотенца. В номере все показали и рассказали и проводили нас на пляж. В номере было чисто и у нас уборка была каждый день. Завтраки и ужины у нас были в формате шведского стола, но еда очень вкусная. На пляже плавали с маской и трубкой и видели много красивых рыбок, а на берегу крабиков. При выселении помогли организовать трансфер до следующего острова."
