Ξενοδοχεία με breakfast σε Free State, South Africa

2023 I visited this hotel with my mom and a few of my siblings. The location is amazing, the hotel rooms are also very clean and spacious with great stuff and it’s a very quiet space because of this past experience I decided to book my mum for two days in winter 2025. My mum has been sick so the doctor advised her to rest and get some sauna and since the hotel claims to have if we thought it be convenient for her to stay. It’s currently winter in South Africa and yet the were no gowns in the room this really upset me because I am not even in South Africa now I have to call for that request while I’m busy. I am truly disappointed at these two points.

The hotel is very good, but the TRIP platform has a very poor check-in experience. We arrived at the hotel tired. The front desk had our reservation information but denied that we had paid in advance. I showed my reservation form and it clearly showed that full payment was prepaid and included breakfast, but the hotel computer showed that no payment had been made. There is no choice but to pay separately to check in. Then I contacted the Trip platform and was told that Trip was booked through a third-party so-called partner. They contacted the local partner and finally the front desk confirmed that we had been charged twice. Trip customer service then called again and said that the hotel front desk did not read the order clearly, and I completely disagree with this explanation. I clearly saw that the hotel's computer showed that our reservation was unpaid. It should be caused by the lack of responsibility of Trip's local partners. In addition, the hotel has no restaurant at all and does not provide breakfast at all. All guests who stay can get a 20% discount coupon to purchase meals and drinks at the fast food restaurant in the service area of the gas station next to it. The meals are very cheap. The accommodation we booked including breakfast was a waste of nearly 200 Hong Kong dollars. (My cashier receipt showed that the unit price of the room was 1178 ZAR, and the so-called breakfast-included price I actually paid was HKD 627).

Everything about the place is excellent. I fully enjoyed my stay. The place is clean and quiet. The reception from owners was out of this world considering that I checked in  very late.  Loved how they accommodated every request I had.

The hotel is beautiful, it’s located in the CBD close to all amenities. I think it’s rated a 3 star hotel only because of its location, otherwise it would have been fit for a 5 star if it was in the northern suburbs of Bloem. Our stay was lovely, the room was cosy, the staff very friendly. The only thing that was a turn off was the noisy air-con that took forever to warm up the room. The food was also not that good.

The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly .Breakfast was fresh and had a little bit of everything .Unfortunately for my partner and I ,we booked the hotel because of it’s amenities ,upon out arrival we got the news that the hotel is doing some refurbishments therefore we couldn’t use the amenities we booked the hotel for .I suggested that we at-least get upgraded as we are unhappy, but nothing of that sort happened .So I was very unhappy that the hotel couldn’t at-least meet us half way. They just said the site I booked at need to take full responsibility for not notifying me of the refurbishment.

Comfortable, quiet, and welcoming! The room was clean and cozy, the garden peaceful, and the staff very friendly. Safe parking and a great location made it a perfect stopover. Highly recommended!

Book this place for family travelling via Bloemfontein. As always the place was clean. Service is good and location is great. Far better than staying in the 2 “big” hotels within Bloemfontein.

Wonderful staff. Clean rooms. Quiet facility. We loved staying at this hotel and would recommend it to others!

I saw good reviews before coming, so I chose to stay in this place very firmly. After coming, I found that this was a very correct decision, and on the first day of the trip here, I came back because of the taxi company intermediary, I met a very rude man. Then I told the landlord grandmother about this unhappy thing, she comforted me patiently and helped me recover my emotions, and made me tea and made me a delicious sandwich. We had been chatting in the middle, and she kept comforting me and made me feel very warm. Grandpa was very good, from the beginning to recommend shuttle car to me, to every morning on time and delicious breakfast and after I go home, I care about how I have a day, really like my family, I will be happy to share with them I have a day. Not only is this guest house with humanistic care, its facilities and configuration are also very good. If I will return to South Africa and return to Blomfontaine later, I will definitely come back and see you again. Thank you very much for your help and care and support during this time. Before coming here, I saw very good reviews, so I chose to live here firmly. After coming here, I found out that this was a very correct decision. On the first day of visiting here, due to a very impolite man, I was sad on the way back. Then I told Lettie about this unhappy thing. She comforted me very patiently, helped me recover my mood, and made tea for me to drink and delicious sandwiches for me to eat. We were chatting at that time and she kept comforting me, which made me feel very warm. Her husband is also nice. From recommending the shuttle car to me at the very beginning, to making the punctual and delicious breakfast every morning and caring about how my day was after I got home. I am also very willing to share with them whether my day was good or not. Not only is it such a guest House with humanistic care, but its own facilities and configuration are also very good. If I return to South Africa and to Bloemfontein in the future, I will definitely come back to see you again. Thank you very much for your help, care and support during this period.

The lodge is amazing! The location is very good it’s right in the middle of the city which makes it easily accessible. The room was clean. I would absolutely recommend it.
