"Location: The hotel is in Chaoyang District, and since most of the places I wanted to visit in Beijing this time were nearby, it was quite convenient to get around. Room Facilities: Although the hotel has been around for many years, it's an artistic hotel, and the more time passes, the more character it develops. Just like the artwork on the front desk's background wall says, 'The Rose of Time,' it made me think of Bei Dao's poem: 'When the brush draws the horizon, you are awakened by the gong of the East, and blooming in the echo is the rose of time…' Breakfast: Breakfast is served on the first floor at LIQA, a Turkish restaurant. I'm not sure if it's the same team that handles breakfast and regular meal times, but the main courses, desserts, and drinks for breakfast were all excellent 👍. Parking: To get from the parking lot to the guest rooms, you need to go to the first floor and then transfer to another elevator. There are plenty of parking spaces. Just remember to register your license plate number at the front desk; I paid almost 200 yuan the first day because I forgot. Service: Absolutely fantastic! We received welcome fruits, desserts, a card, and drinks. There was bottled water everywhere, unopened pens, and a whole toiletry bag of amenities. The disposable hotel slippers were exceptionally comfortable, which is a rare and pleasant surprise. Housekeeping was prompt but never intrusive. They even gave my daughter the room card as a souvenir. I heard the swimming pool and gym are excellent, but I didn't get a chance to experience them this time as I was traveling with my child. I'll definitely check them out next time, haha."

Since I arrived early, she proactively helped arrange luggage storage, and check-out was super quick and efficient. With a smiling face the entire time, the service attitude was faultless. The room had great natural light, was clean and odorless, and the pillows and mattress were very comfortable, allowing me to sleep soundly until morning. The location is easy to find, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. A 5-star staying experience, highly recommended to all my friends. I will definitely stay here again on my next business trip! 🌟"

"Facilities: The rooms are a bit old but very spacious, and the location is good, though it's a bit of a walk to the subway station. Environment: The pool is really big and beautiful, absolutely fantastic! There's a large 1.4-meter pool, a 0.4-meter children's pool, and a hot spring pool. The changing rooms also have a Jacuzzi and sauna, which is amazing! I didn't go to the gym, but it looked very good too. Cleanliness: The hygiene was very good. Service: Amy was very patient during check-in, and the service was very prompt. Other: Breakfast was excellent."

"I booked the Four Seasons Hotel specifically to see the floating piano performance at Chaoyang Park. My actual stay far exceeded my expectations. Firstly, the location is excellent, right by the Liangma River. Whether it's for a daytime stroll or enjoying the evening lights, it's a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Secondly, the hotel's service is absolutely top-notch. From the concierge assisting with taxi drop-off to check-in and room service, I truly felt a sense of being home away from home. It's the standard you'd expect from a long-standing five-star hotel. I was particularly touched by the room service. After I used the coffee machine in the afternoon, the attendant specifically refilled the drinking water during turn-down service and left a thoughtful little note, which was very heartwarming."

"The hotel is in a fantastic location, making it super convenient for shopping in Sanlitun. We booked a pet-friendly twin room and brought our dog along for the stay. Currently, the hotel has two pet-friendly rooms available to book, and the overall experience was great. The room was very clean. We put a diaper on our dog inside just in case of any accidents. We contacted the hotel a day in advance, and they kindly prepared some dog supplies for us—even though we didn't end up using them, it was such a thoughtful touch. If you're traveling with a pet, make sure to have your dog's license and vaccination records ready in advance, as you'll need to show them at the front desk upon check-in. We also received a lovely welcome card when we checked in. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay—the service was attentive, and the breakfast was delicious!"

Before booking, I read the negative reviews, which were mostly complaints about the service. After staying, I felt like this hotel was one giant obedience test. Upon entering the room, I noticed a strong smell from the air conditioning ducts. I picked up the phone and dialed 'one touch.' The operator transferred me to the front desk, who said they would get back to me shortly. 'Shortly' meant I had to call again to get any kind of answer. After changing rooms, the next day my room card stopped working. That's when I understood why there was a phone in the hallway. After calling, they said an auntie would come to help open the door. Ten minutes later, the auntie finally arrived. After opening the door, she said a concierge would bring a new room card later. Well, it never arrived within two hours. Eventually, when I went to pick up my takeout, I had to go to the front desk myself to get a new one. The tissues in the room ran out. The auntie replaced them with new ones, but just left the new pack on top of the tissue box instead of putting them inside. I don't understand that. There was a short black hair in the bathtub... The mini-bar was completely empty on the first night, possibly due to the room change. At breakfast, I opened a Chinese steamed dim sum, and there was a black hair inside... Breakfast ended at 10:30 AM, and many guests came at 10:35 AM to get coffee, but it was all gone...

I've stayed at Ascott many times, and it's consistently excellent in all aspects. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and the amenities like the fridge and washing machine are all fully equipped. The environment is also very quiet; you barely hear any noise. It's super convenient for dining and drinks, with plenty of restaurants nearby. There's also Xiao Taihou Park close by, and it's not far from the subway station – about a 10-minute scooter ride.

Two years later, I'm back at the Cordis Beijing Capital Airport. It wasn't until I saw the airplane model in the lobby that it clicked: Donghai Airlines, The Langham Shenzhen, and Cordis Donghai are all under the same ownership. No wonder they share the same prefix! Of course, as a guest, the owner might not be the most important thing; it's the management company and their level of professionalism that truly matters. The Cordis brand ensures that the management and service here will never disappoint. It's the same friendly atmosphere, warm service, and exquisite food. I was particularly impressed by the staff I encountered in departments like the Front Office, Concierge, Ming Court, and The Place all-day dining restaurant. A special thank you to Front Office Manager Serena, Front Desk Manager Jessie, Duty Manager Lock, Assistant Director of F&B Tom, Ming Court Manager Terry, and The Place Restaurant Manager Anson, among others. Their dedication and guest-first approach truly made me feel the warmth and professionalism of Cordis. Cordis Donghai is definitely worth another visit!

The moment I stepped into the hotel, I felt great; a new renovation really makes a difference. The facilities and layout are very well-designed, and there's even a garment steamer. The slippers also look to be of good quality. The mineral water comes in cans. However, during our stay on the 10th floor, the water pressure was very low, and there was hair in the bathroom that hadn't been cleaned, which was a real letdown. The view of Universal Studios was spoiled by a large board. Although we didn't get to experience the starlit pool and rooftop bar, they looked promising. Now, a complaint about the hotel's shuttle bus service. I suspect it's a partnership with an external company because the tour guide's marketing pitch was incredibly pushy. They started by creating anxiety, claiming you'd waste time getting lost if you went on your own, and that you'd get soaked at the water park. They tried to sell us park tour services, raincoats, and even magic wands – a real multi-pronged approach. Later, during the hotel's follow-up call, after I mentioned the bathroom issue, they offered a room upgrade for a future stay. But who knows when that 'next time' will be? It felt insincere.

The resort environment was very comfortable, and the kids absolutely loved participating in all the activities, having a great time. The atmosphere at night was quite lively too. Vera provided excellent service, and overall, I was very satisfied – a full five-star recommendation! What I loved most was that all the activities were included. Whether for adults or kids, indoors or outdoors, there were rackets provided by the hotel for basketball, table tennis, billiards, football, archery, and golf. The water park was quite large; the depth was perfect for children to swim, though a bit shallow for adults. Plus, all the craft activities, performances, flying trapeze, and aerobics were really fun! Dinner was the most abundant meal, with various international cuisines. The sashimi, BBQ, and salads were all delicious. The dessert bar was the most amazing part – truly five-star standard! My daughter even said the roasted lamb chops were incredibly tasty. 😋 We stayed in the Shaun the Sheep room, which was decorated so cutely. My child said she wants to come back again next time! The most comfortable aspect, actually, was the beautiful environment of the Songshan scenic area. It's a natural oxygen bar, bringing you close to nature; you can see and smell the natural aroma. There were also about a dozen adorable little cats! 😍 We plan to try out Club Meds in other cities and countries next time!

My stay at the Renaissance Jinmao was incredibly satisfying! The location is excellent, with convenient access to transportation. Selina at the front desk provided exceptional service; the check-in process was smooth, and her communication was gentle and thoughtful. The hotel's facilities are top-notch, and the environment is spotless. From arrival to check-in, the entire experience was comfortable. I heard the Forbidden City view was good, so I came to check it out, and it was quite a pleasant surprise, higher than the Mandarin Oriental and offering a different feel. I've attached a selfie for comparison. It's worth noting that the pool is larger than the Mandarin Oriental's and doesn't have lanes, which I really liked. The water quality is equally excellent. Definitely worth coming back to.

I specifically came to the Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing for a little healing getaway and to finally cross it off my bucket list—after all, it's been saved on my wishlist for five years. At this price point, MO really speaks for itself: seamless service procedures and a genuinely warm, effortless hospitality. I’d like to give a few specific shout-outs: At breakfast, I always prefer my Americano piping hot. Instead of lecturing me about how super-hot coffee ruins the flavor, the staff simply delivered it exactly as requested. It would have been even better if the cup had been pre-warmed! Also, to the lovely young lady who took my order (forgive me for not catching your name): you are so approachable and warm, please be more confident in yourself! I highly recommend booking an evening spa treatment during your stay; heading straight back to your room to sleep afterward is the ultimate recharge for both body and soul. Special thanks to therapist Minnie and spa receptionist Lawerence for their exceptional service. Even though I purchased my spa voucher via their official WeChat mini-program, they treated me with the utmost care and professionalism. To the front desk team and the duty manager—forgive me once again for forgetting your names—since we interacted the most, I truly appreciated how prompt and thoughtful your responses were. It completely avoided the common issue with domestic ”butler services” where style often trumps substance. A chat group was set up even before my arrival, and whether it was via text, phone, or in person, all my requests and questions, big or small, were handled promptly. Traveling solo, feeling so well cared for and pampered truly touched my heart. Please pass along my gratitude to all the team members, whether I remembered their names or not. As a five-star hotel, it absolutely delivered on luxury, making for an excellent experience. I have to praise the location – it's incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. You can walk to Metro Lines 1 and 10, so getting around is a breeze. Step out of the hotel and turn left, and within 50 meters, you're at a mall with so many shopping and dining options you'll be spoiled for choice. All your retail and food cravings are easily met! The room was an even bigger surprise. It was exceptionally spacious, bright, and well-lit. The floor-to-ceiling window offered an amazing view, and it was incredibly comfortable just lying there and enjoying the scenery. The facilities were comprehensive, and the pillows and mattress were perfectly comfortable – I slept like a baby, straight through till morning. It was incredibly refreshing. Breakfast also deserves a mention. There was a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options, so many choices that I was satisfied every morning. The staff were consistently warm and polite, always thinking of the guests' needs. Their service was incredibly thoughtful, and I have to give them a big thumbs up! I had such a pleasant stay these past few days. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

The hotel is new and very clean. It's very close to Universal Studios, just two subway stops away, and taxis are also convenient. There's also a free shuttle bus. The front desk staff were very friendly, professional, and efficient. The room size was just right. For a family of four, you can choose a twin room with a sofa bed in the middle. The housekeeping staff seemed a bit busy and a little impatient, haha. Overall, it was a great experience, excellent value for money. I would consider staying here again next time.
