"Stayed at the Qingdao Yihai Garden Hotel, May Fourth Square branch, on June 6th. I booked a two-night stay in a deluxe king room via the Trip.com app. Upon check-in, I was lucky enough to get a complimentary upgrade to a king room with a sea view. Many thanks to the gentleman who handled my check-in. **Location**: Just a few minutes' walk from May Fourth Square and right next to MixC shopping mall. A bus stop is only 3 minutes away from the entrance. Very convenient for getting around and dining. **Room**: The hygiene was excellent, and they provided welcome cookies and drinks. The only minor drawback was that the soundproofing was a little lacking. However, considering the cleanliness, service, and location, this is a negligible issue. **Breakfast**: There was a wide variety of options, probably enough to satisfy everyone's taste. Personally, I found it quite delicious. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Qingdao."

"The hotel is new and spotless, from the interiors and room amenities to the surrounding environment. It's just a short walk across the street to the beach. The beachfront promenade stretches for miles, perfect for a morning run to catch the sunrise 🏃 or an evening stroll with a sea breeze – incredibly convenient and enjoyable. The nearby Haitan Mall isn't large but it's very new, with plenty of dining options. There's even a Tsutaya Bookstore on the 4th floor with direct sea views. And the hotel's breakfast restaurant offers amazing sea views! During our stay, our butler Rose provided impeccable service, responding to our needs very quickly."

"This hotel is right next to Quancheng Square, and the scenic view room offers expansive views, allowing you to watch the musical fountain from your room at night. The room facilities are clean and tidy, the bedding is comfortable, and all the complimentary welcome fruits were delicious, showing the hotel's thoughtful service. I didn't get a chance to use the gym or indoor pool due to time constraints, but I imagine they would be excellent too. I especially recommend staying here if you're doing business at Xiangheng Square; the two buildings are connected, so you can go back and forth without stepping outside, which is super convenient. It's also within walking distance of key attractions like Baotu Spring, Black Tiger Spring, Daming Lake, and Wulongtan, and it's easy to get to Kuanhouli and Furong Street for food and shopping. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Jinan."

It's true that in an emerging market, older five-star hotels that don't keep up with the times can face significant challenges. However, the human element of service is dynamic, and as a benchmark in the service/hotel industry, every staff member here left a great impression on me. The concierge asked if I needed a carry bag when storing my luggage; when I told them I didn't need housekeeping the next day and requested a bottle of water, the attendant immediately gave me four. For my two-night stay, I was provided with welcome fruit, and upon checkout, I was even given packed fruit and snacks to take with me. The room's cleanliness and facilities were generally very good. The surrounding environment is perfect for a slow-paced trip. Highly recommended."

"I stayed one night in Jinan to rest and chose the Lvfaguhe InterContinental Hotel. Overall, I'd rate it 7-8 out of 10. The location is its biggest highlight, being right in the heart of Jinan's downtown commercial area, next to Guihe Shopping Mall. You can walk to attractions like Baotu Spring, Quancheng Square, and Kuanhouli, making it super convenient for shopping and sightseeing. I specifically chose this hotel for its prime location. The hotel's facade and lobby are grand and impressive, with a high ceiling design that gives it a luxurious, high-end feel. My first impression was definitely upscale and sophisticated. However, the room's hardware is a noticeable drawback. The hotel has been open for quite a while, and the room facilities are generally dated. You can see clear signs of wear and tear on the furniture, bathroom fixtures, and appliances. The decor style is a bit old-fashioned, lacking the refined touch of newer hotels, and the maintenance of details could be improved. What most affected my experience this stay was the communication regarding services, with multiple basic oversights. I booked two rooms, but upon check-in, I was only given four key cards for a single room. After going upstairs and realizing I couldn't access the second room, I had to go back to the front desk to get new ones, which was a time-consuming hassle. Additionally, the booking included the hotel's standard spring water bottles, but neither room had them. When I went to the front desk to ask for them, there was a lot of back-and-forth and blame-shifting, requiring repeated communication for a minor issue, which lowered both the efficiency of my check-in and my overall impression. The bedding was comfortable, and the basic living functions were fine. It's a good choice for travelers who prioritize a city-center location and mainly focus on sightseeing."

Elly from Guest Relations was incredibly efficient in handling my requests; she responded instantly to my inquiries about late check-out and luggage storage, and her solutions were always reassuring. The reception staff were gentle and polite, proactively informing me about the pool and gym hours. The concierge team was reliable, expertly arranging taxis and providing precise directions to attractions. The room's soft furnishings and hardware were well-maintained, and the smart devices operated smoothly without any issues. The infinity pool boasts a luxurious design and consistently clean water, while the gym is massive and fully equipped with yoga mats and towels. The Executive Lounge offers excellent privacy, perfect for a quiet break. The staff there maintained a perfect balance of attentiveness without being intrusive. The combination of the beautiful views and thoughtful service truly enhanced the relaxing vacation vibe."

"Seeing it was ranked No.1 on the platform for luxury hotels in Weifang, I didn't hesitate to choose this hotel for my first visit to the city. My two-night stay was an excellent experience. The value for money is outstanding. The hotel boasts a prime location right in the city center and is close to Weifang Station. With Wanda Plaza next door, dining, entertainment, and shopping are incredibly convenient. I was pleasantly surprised and touched to receive a free upgrade to a suite upon check-in! Thank you! The suite was very spacious with a well-thought-out layout, and the facilities were complete, high-quality, and luxurious. The room had floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides, making it bright, airy, beautiful, and comfortable. It featured a living room, a vanity, two TVs, two bathrooms, and a walk-in closet. The double-faucet vanity, a standard in five-star hotels, was fantastic. The bathtub was large and pristine. The hotel service was excellent, and we received complimentary welcome fruit. The front desk and housekeeping staff were polite, friendly, attentive, and diligent – highly commendable! Breakfast offered a rich variety, with delicious Chinese and Western dishes. The coffee was excellent and offered for takeaway, which is a nice touch! The Pinzhen Chinese Restaurant on the second floor had exquisite dishes that tasted great. The Executive Lounge on the first floor provided a quiet and comfortable environment for happy hour light dinners, with a good selection of hot and cold dishes, main courses, snacks, beverages, desserts, and fruits. The male and female staff were very polite, well-mannered, and professional. My stay completely exceeded expectations. I highly recommend the Pullman Weifang to anyone visiting Weifang."

"Every time I visit Tengzhou, I choose this hotel. It's a well-established hotel with excellent and very friendly service. The front desk staff are quick and efficient. Lobby Manager Xiao Yang is very welcoming and responsive, and even arranged a complimentary breakfast. I have to give it a full 5 stars, and I'll definitely be staying here again."

"The hotel's overall decor is luxurious and grand, with a European classical style that feels very warm and comfortable. The service at check-in was excellent; they proactively guided me to my room. However, I was not satisfied with the room facilities. The hand towel by the sink was severely damaged, and there was a chip on the edge of the bathtub, posing a safety hazard. On the other hand, the sleeping area in the room was a very pleasant experience. The bathroom having its own independent air conditioning system is a feature many hotels lack, which was a nice touch. The breakfast experience was particularly bad – messy and completely lacking in management and service. In terms of decor and luxury, the hotel certainly meets five-star standards. However, in terms of management and service, it falls short of even mid-range chain hotels."

"The F&B department at this hotel is absolutely terrible. On the first day, I was having dinner with a colleague and there were people smoking without anyone doing anything about it. The next day, I was in a hurry and ordered some dumplings for 69, but after half an hour, they still hadn't arrived. When I tried to rush them, the service staff looked incredibly impatient. The waitress said she'd go check, but then came back and didn't even bother to update me. I had to pull answers out of her, and she had a long face the whole time. After checking out, as I was walking to the lobby entrance, a server chased me down saying there was a mistake in the payment, and I had only paid 0.69. I ended up scanning a QR code and paying the remaining 68.31 while walking, and she insisted on taking a picture of the payment record, as if I was trying to run off without paying. The worst part is that this server had really bad breath when she spoke, which was truly disgusting. For a five-star hotel, this Sheraton Rizhao has really been an eye-opener."
