"Five star golf hotel on a hill with sea view. Very quiet. Hotel offers a bus several times to Herionissos Village where you can go to the beach, shopping, supermarket and many restaurant and bars. Breakfast and dinner buffet has a wide range of food. Hotel offers a tennis and volleyball court, mini golf, in and outdoor pool as well as a kids playground and spa. Our junior suite has bed, living and bathroom as well as a well equipped kitchen. There was a bottle of white wine as welcome gift in the room"

"Amazing hotel with great friendly staff. The breakfast was great and had a lot of variety with traditional Greek food and gluten free and organic options. It is centrally located to the old town and lots of bars and restaurants. The bus Center is near by too."

"What a lovely stay in Crete! This hotel is gorgeous and spotless. The Breakfast Buffet was outstanding, and every staff member I encountered during my 3-day stay was smiling and helpful. My Executive seaside room was spacious and well-furnished, and it was a perfect place to recharge on my 3-week journey. It was an easy walk from the port (I arrived with SeaJets), and the public bus to the Palace of Knossos was waiting for me right below the hotel the next day. The concierge gave great advice on places to visit, and called for the (15€!) taxi when it was time to get to the airport. Efharistó, Megaron!"

"The hotel is ideally located on Itron Bay, near the Voulisma beach, Agios Nikolaos, Eloundao or Ierapetra to reach Chrissi Island by boat. The hotel was a wonderful location for a 5-star hotel! 🙏🙏 The breakfast is a good choice. "The reception was very warm and thoughtful. I just arrived at the hotel to send the free mint soda special drink, because our flight was late, they also gave late check out. "We stayed here for 4 nights. I had booked a sea view room, but they said it was upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi. While the jacuzzi was nice and relaxing, the sea view was quite limited, which was a bit disappointing. The property is located in a remote and peaceful part of the island. It has excellent internet access and a decent outdoor gym. Since it is right by the sea, you can enjoy walking or running along the coast to the nearest town, Mavrikianon. One important thing to mention is that the property does not have direct access to the sea. To swim, you need to go to either Plaka Beach, which requires a minimum spend of €40 per person to use the sunbeds, or to Mavrikianon Beach, which is much more affordable at €5 per person for the entire day. Mavrikianon Beach is very pleasant and close to markets where you can buy drinks. There are also some good food and drink spots nearby, such as Rudi’s Bar, a British-style pub, and Porto Rino, which serves great pizzas. Make sure to skip Nico’s Fish Tavern and try the Ferryman instead — you won’t regret it. What we found most frustrating was the lack of mosquito screens on the windows. Sleeping with the windows open was not really an option, even though the natural breeze was wonderful. Our room had air conditioning, but we tend to get sick sleeping with it on. There was a ceiling fan as well, but it is a shame to miss out on the fresh air simply because of a missing screen. The breakfast was also a disappointment. There were very few options, the coffee was not good, and the omelettes were overcooked. The most inconvenient part of our stay was the parking system. You have to check in and out with security every time, which felt excessive and time-consuming. It gave the impression of entering a high-security zone, not a relaxing holiday resort. Overall, it was a good experience with some nice features, but for the price, it lacks comfort and convenience in a few key areas. ."
