The front desk staff and the cleaning aunties were all very friendly. I've stayed at many Atour hotels, but this experience was truly a pleasant surprise. The 21st-floor elevator area felt like a Hilton, and I really liked the decorative flowers and the scent. When checking out, I even received a refrigerator magnet as a gift."

There are also several shopping malls nearby, and food delivery is very convenient. The facilities are comprehensive, including a self-service laundry room. Upon check-in, our room was upgraded. Overall, the front desk staff, cleaning aunties, and breakfast service personnel were all very friendly. While the breakfast selection was a bit limited, it had the essentials and was enough to eat. Any requests during our stay were promptly attended to by the hotel. Considering it was an off-season trip, the overall value for money was excellent."

"Traveling to Changbai Mountain and stopped over in Changchun, I chose Yatai Hotel. It's an old-brand hotel that's reliable in terms of both service and facilities. There were welcome fruits upon arrival, and the room was comfortable. After coming back in the evening, I felt a bit under the weather due to the cold evening breeze in Changchun, but a hot bath made me feel much better. What needs improvement is that the bathroom shouldn't just be vacuumed; it would be better if it were mopped as well."

"Having traveled to Changchun for business many times, I always choose the Atour X Hotel at Changchun Station South Square without hesitation. It perfectly meets all the needs of business travelers, and I have to highlight three fantastic features! First, the facilities are more comprehensive than expected. The rooms are fully equipped with smart toilets, high-definition projection screens, Xiao Du voice assistants, and independent mini-fridges. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, and the high-pressure shower is incredibly relaxing after a long journey. The lobby features a Bamboo House reading area and a 24-hour self-service laundry room, making it super convenient to wash and dry clothes during business trips. There's also free drinking water and tea sets available anytime, and you can even borrow office charging accessories from the front desk if needed – no detail is overlooked. What surprised me most was the soundproofing. The hotel is right at the south exit of Changchun Station, just a few minutes' walk to the train. I expected to be disturbed all night by train whistles and pedestrian noise, but once the door closed, all external noise was completely blocked out. I could barely hear any activity from the corridor or adjacent rooms. Coupled with Atour's exclusive deep-sleep mattress and soft/firm dual pillows, I could get a solid night's sleep even after working late, without any worries about my rest being interrupted. Breakfast is another huge plus. The buffet offers a wide variety of dishes catering to both northern and southern tastes. You'll find freshly cooked noodles, authentic Northeastern tofu pudding, pan-fried dumplings, multigrain porridge, baked pastries, and fresh fruit. Hot dishes rotate daily, and the flavors are genuine and not perfunctory. Even if you're catching an early high-speed train, you can enjoy a warm and hearty breakfast instead of settling for a quick bread snack. With its convenient location, excellent hardware, quiet sleeping environment, quality breakfast, and attentive service, this hotel is my top choice around Changchun Station, whether for a short business trip or a transit stay. The unique Korean ethnic handicraft experience was a lot of fun, offering a genuine taste of local folk culture. The B&B's environment is beautiful, with picturesque scenery everywhere. My overall stay exceeded expectations. The hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient access to transportation. The room was spacious, bright, and very clean, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. The temperature and humidity inside were just right. The facilities were comprehensive; a soak in the hot springs was incredibly relaxing and helped ease the fatigue after hiking. The service was meticulous, thoughtful, and prompt. I had a very pleasant stay throughout my trip and would give it five stars. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Changbai Mountain. The service was very attentive, and they even gave me a small gift.

SONG JIANG BONANZA WINNING HOTEL — From Smoke Signals to Sacred Silence Arrival & First Sniff This old dog finally flopped down in Jilin City, relieved to rest my paws at the grandly named Song Jiang Bonanza Winning Hotel. “Winning,” I thought—until my non-smoking room greeted me with a stale tobacco haze. One whiff and I nearly cancelled the stay on the spot. Room Rescue Cue Mr Hong Dejian—calm, English-speaking, and clutching the keys to redemption. He patiently showed me alternative rooms until we found one that didn’t smell like a poker night. Had I left, I would’ve missed what came next. Comfort Food = Home Dinner delivered a miracle: stewed chicken with potatoes and mushrooms. One bite and—boom—mummy’s cooking. After days on the road, I finally found food in China that tasted like home. Tail wagging resumed. Care Beyond the Call Mr Hong returned with a portable heater, pointed out city landmarks, and even taught me how to take a non-reflective photo (yes, this dog learns fast). His easy friendliness softened the edges of dirty window panes and mostly Mandarin-only staff. I even showed him the ink-black towel after wiping the window—evidence, not barking. Menu Meltdown & A Win At the restaurant, I was handed a Chinese-only menu after saying I don’t speak Mandarin. I hit the roof. To their credit, reception listened: I received a call from the lady boss, and the issue was acknowledged. Then a hero appeared—the restaurant lady, who patiently translated dish names so I could choose lunch and dinner without guesswork. Gold bone earned. City Interlude: Jilin Catholic Church Between meals and meetings, I visited Jilin Catholic Church (吉林耶稣圣心堂)—a quiet pause from hotel hiccups. The church offered a moment of stillness, a reminder that even on a bumpy stay, the city holds pockets of grace. Logistics That Worked Back at the desk, the reception lady manager efficiently arranged my transport to Wusong Island—quick, competent, and reassuring. Breakfast & The Fine Print Breakfast surprised me in the best way: healthy, balanced, a thoughtful mix of local and Western dishes. One final bone to chew—early booking didn’t pay off as prices dropped later. A truly Winning Hotel would honour the lower rate at check-in. Verdict Despite communication bumps, this is a solid winter hideout: good Songhua River views, comforting food, and fast service when it counts. The owner was very hospitable, and there were always drivers available at the entrance who were ready to answer any questions or help with travel plans. The aunties at the hot springs were also very warm and helped with towels. The indoor bath was cleaned daily, and overall, everything was quite good. The only issue was that the toilet wasn't clean upon check-in, but the front desk attendant came quickly to address it. Overall, it was a good experience, and I recommend it.

This hotel is located within the Enduli scenic area, right next to Autumn Duck Park, making it very pleasant for a stroll. There are also many dining options outside the scenic area, which are more affordable and tastier than those inside. It's very convenient, just a short walk across a small bridge. This was the second hotel we stayed at in Erdaodaohe Town during the National Day holiday. Compared to the 2000 RMB hot spring hotel, the rooms here were much more comfortable and spacious. They even had a small balcony perfect for sunbathing or drying clothes. The service was also very thoughtful. We, a family of two adults and one child, had originally booked a king-size room. However, Li at the front desk upgraded us to a family room, saving us several hundred yuan! We were so happy; it really felt like a home away from home. The shuttle driver, Master Zhang, was patient and polite. Overall, I highly recommend staying here for at least one night to experience it.

The room was spacious, fulfilling my child's wish to sleep on the top bunk. The environment is beautiful, and the aesthetics of all the promotional materials, road signs, and logo designs are top-notch. The complimentary benefits and activities were so numerous we couldn't even use them all. The evening activities were abundant, and the flow of movement was well-planned. Even if we missed a shuttle, they would arrange an alternative vehicle for us. After the last shuttle from the hot springs, you could rent a scooter, and at other times, the shuttle service was very prompt. The shuttle from Songguo Li was always on time as it's the starting point. We only ate at Li Liangui inside the resort; for other meals, we called nearby restaurants that offered free pickup and drop-off, and the food was delicious and affordable. Oh, and when I booked the hotel, rafting wasn't listed as a benefit, but we actually received a complimentary Red Willow Rafting experience. To get to the South Slope, we asked the front desk to arrange a private car, and the driver was reliable and the price fair. Overall, I would recommend Huamei Shengdi to my friends. My only complaint is that there are too few washing machines; we could never get one.

The only issue is the poor soundproofing of the apartment building; you can hear firecrackers and fireworks outside, as well as loud conversations from next door. Location & Transportation: The apartment is located in Qingshan Apartment Phase 3, right near the ski resort. The hotel offers shuttle service to the ski slopes (though it still requires a short walk). There's a supermarket, bar, and ski rental shop all on the B1 level. Walking to the ski resort takes about 10 minutes, so it's a bit of a distance. Breakfast: The variety isn't extensive, but it's enough to fill you up before hitting the slopes for a full day of skiing. Initially, I booked for three nights, but the snow melted due to warm weather, so we only skied for two days. Besides skiing, there isn't much else to do in the area. Plus, with bad weather forecasted for the sixth day of the ***** New Year, we ended up wasting one night's booking and returned home early.

Experienced the newly opened Atour, tell the heart! The biggest advantage of the new store is that all the equipment is brand new, the room is bright and clean, and there is no need to worry about the old facilities. I like Atour's bed the most. I lie down for a day and decompress it. The sound insulation is also online. The front desk partners are gentle and check in is not delayed. The public area bamboo living atmosphere is very good, you can sit for a while in your free time. Self-service laundry is really a boon for long-distance travelers! A new store that pays attention to detail and is full of temperature, recommended to friends who want to come here.

The biggest highlight of this hotel was the front desk service – the staff were incredibly kind and genuinely helpful. Check-in was super fast, and they proactively shared important tips for visiting Changbai Mountain, along with detailed info on nearby restaurants, shops, and even gas stations. When I had a last-minute request late at night, the staff responded promptly. They truly went above and beyond, handling everything with dedication. The room was clean and quiet, well-equipped, and combined with the thoughtful front desk service, it made my trip absolutely wonderful. Highly recommend!

Huge thanks to the lovely front desk lady who upgraded my room! One of the staff members was truly amazing, and I really appreciate her efforts and kindness. There's a great 'iron pot stew' restaurant about 200 meters to the left when you exit the hotel – the food was delicious and I'd definitely recommend it. The owner even suggested we try ice fishing! However, apart from the excellent service from that one staff member, the hotel's facilities and room amenities were pretty average. I didn't feel it offered great value for money. The pictures are dedicated to that wonderful lady who brightened our stay.
