"I chose this hotel because it was a new, conveniently located hotel right by the station. **What I liked:** * The room was clean and spacious. * They offered three different kinds of soup as amenities. * The room wear was a separate top and bottom set. * There was a large public bath. * Welcome drinks and post-bath ice cream were available until 1 AM. * I could check various things on the in-room TV (e.g., public bath crowding, availability and end time of laundry machines). **What was a bit confusing:** * The room's air conditioning control panel (it was a digital display under the TV). * There was no coffee with the amenities (located next to the lobby on the 1st floor), so I had to go to the welcome drink area (on the 2nd floor) to get some. Overall, it was a very comfortable space with attention to detail. I'd like to stay here again."

"Aside from the area being slightly out of the way into the Onsen area of Hanamaki, other aspects is more than excellent and perfect. I left my tripod in the room and the staff rushed after me and passed it to me while I was on the shuttle bus to the main station. Location wise it was in a small quaint town away from the bustling of city life. Will drive the next time I travel there. Food was perfect and staff service was amazing."

"Our second stop on this East Japan trip was Morioka. The hotel is right across from the station, but I didn't dare cross the road because there was no pedestrian sidewalk. So, I took the underground passage instead. Since it was my first time there, I wasn't familiar with the area and had to carry my suitcase up the stairs. Luckily, there weren't too many steps. I actually didn't have high hopes for this hotel, but it turned out to be surprisingly good! The service was excellent, and it's conveniently connected to a Lawson convenience store; you can enter the hotel directly with your room key. I heard the breakfast was good, so I bought one day's worth to try it out. It was 2600 JPY per person, and breakfast started at 6:15 AM. The Japanese really wake up early – there was already a queue before it even opened! The single room was very spacious, and the soundproofing was excellent. The price was also very reasonable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Morioka."

"I was thrilled to use my Trip.com points for a free night at the Daiwa Roynet Hotel Morioka. The room was perfect for one person, offering a great view of Kaiun Bridge. I even got to enjoy some cold noodles and BBQ at Seirokaku."

"We arrived late from an overseas trip but before the check in last call. Staff was friendly and thorough. The air conditioning seemed a bit weak but otherwise kept us cool. The rooms were western style, including the bathrooms and were well stocked. We didn't get a chance to eat there as we slept in until almost checkout. Beautiful place. Will likely stay there again in the future if we need another night in Morioka!"

"The main reason for staying at the Hongyeguan Hotel was its convenient location for cherry blossom viewing in the north. It's only a little over half an hour's drive to the exhibition center. The hotel includes two meals: a buffet breakfast and dinner. After cherry blossom viewing, guests can enjoy various delicacies such as king crab, soak in the hot springs, and there are even ethnic performances in the evening. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom on the day we checked in, and Hongyeguan was surrounded by them – it was beautiful!"

"The location of this hotel is very good, just on the edge of the pure land, you can also book the shuttle back and forth to Miyako Station in advance. We took the shuttle at 16:00 to Miyako Station from Miyako's Beishan rugged to Miyako Station on the same day. When we returned, we took the photo directly from the pure land shore and took the bus to the station. The hot spring temperature of the hotel is not very high, the indoor and outdoor scenery is very good, the men's and women's soup will change every day, so we have soaked in the evening and morning, very comfortable. The hotel restaurant has an evening buffet on the same day, and there are some banquets/restaurants booked by the company or team. There are no restaurants that are open to tourists walking in and a la carte. We walked back and forth for about an hour to the nearest convenience store for dinner. From the hotel to the road, I didn't need to hit the flashlight. The stars at night were beautiful. The bar was open at night. The special wine was 800 yen. The value was still good but it was not good. It was not recommended. There are many types of breakfast. I am very happy to sit by the window and eat breakfast while watching the sunrise in the morning. I like this natural scenery very much. The overall environment and facilities can give full marks. The attitude of the front desk at this hotel is generally given to the tail room, and the room given is not the size of the area written on Trip.com . The hotel confirmation form 36-40 flat room is at the front desk. It shows that it is a pine forest side room. There is no size, visually 20-24 flat, The front desk did not change it, so after negotiating with Trip.com on the same day, it should be that the information provided by the supplier when booking online has been wrongly given a certain point compensation, which has a little impact on the good mood of travel."
