"The environment has an antique charm with a strong traditional Chinese feel. It's right at the entrance of East-West Alley, offering a tranquil escape amidst the bustling area. The dining area provides coffee and tea, and there are even ethnic costumes available to try on, which shows the owner's thoughtfulness. The location is excellent, right at the entrance of East-West Alley, and across from Zhengyang Road Pedestrian Street. There are also small shops to browse within the same complex, and Elephant Trunk Hill and Sun and Moon Pagodas are all within walking distance! Highly recommend."

"I didn't have high expectations for this B&B, but the reviews were good, so I decided to give it a try. As soon as I got out of the car and entered the main gate, I felt that the outdoor lounge area was quite comfortable. The front desk added me on WeChat and told me to send messages directly in the group if I had any issues. Upon entering the room, I was a little surprised to see the smart appliances inside. A few minutes later, I received tips for traveling in Beihai and introductions to tourist attractions and local delicacies via WeChat. This was the first time I'd encountered such service during my travels, and it was a pleasant surprise. The bedding was very new, the TV was large, and the environment was clean. Since I wasn't feeling well and didn't want to eat greasy food outside, there's a restaurant there where a 'Sichuan tough guy' chef can cook dishes according to your requests. The final surprise was breakfast (photos attached). Who would have thought that a big Sichuan man could prepare such an exquisite breakfast set? It's so charming! Overall, I'm extremely satisfied and it exceeded my expectations. Hope they continue to maintain the quality! 👍"

"This guesthouse feels like an agile and somewhat mysterious spirit nestled in the mountains. We actually thought we had booked the wrong place on our way here. It's located in a very unassuming village, making it hard to believe such a guesthouse exists in this kind of remote area. Initially, I didn't have high expectations for how good it would be, but after seeing the surrounding environment, I truly felt it offered excellent value for money. The view from the room's window is absolutely beautiful. What surprised me the most was that the guesthouse even has a pub downstairs, and two adorable little cats lounging around lazily. As a photography enthusiast, I absolutely loved this place. Not only were the guest rooms spotlessly clean, but the public facilities on the first floor were also well-equipped. The most important highlight, however, was the incredibly warm and welcoming host. They even treated us to some sweet soup and asked if we wanted any iced drinks because of the hot weather. This is exactly why I love staying in guesthouses – surprising and comfortable. I highly recommend this guesthouse!"

"It's very nice little hotel. Staff at the hotel are super friendly and helpful. Room was modern and stylish with a comfortable bed. nice simple breakfast in the morning including eggs, noodles, fruit, bread, dumpling, etc. They have tea, milk and coffee, which is nice. the rooftop pool is big and clean with a view of the beach. the location is quite good, short walk to the beach, many seafood restaurants and cafes around the hotel, and also close to a mall that has a ton of restaurants, mostly on the 4th floor. close to the high speed rail station and also to old street, downtown, and other attractions."

"This hotel is excellent! The location is super easy to find and very close to the city center. At night, we strolled along the Two Rivers and Four Lakes and even saw the Sun and Moon Pagodas, all within walking distance, less than 1km away. The famous Chunji Roast Goose restaurant is also less than 1km from here, everything is accessible on foot. You can also rent electric scooters, so transportation is incredibly convenient. The common areas of the hotel are decorated very warmly and are very comfortable to sit in during the evening. They even offer free traditional ethnic clothing and headwear for guests to borrow, which is perfect for taking photos. The manager, a lovely lady, has decorated the place immaculately and is always smiling. She even gave us tips on how to explore Guilin. The room itself is exactly like the pictures, very spacious and clean, with a cozy, homey feel. After a day out, it's really comfortable to come back and relax. The hot water is consistent and heats up quickly. If you spend some time in the hotel's common area, you might even spot a cat! The bed is very comfortable."

I stayed for three days and was treated to breathtaking mountain and water scenery – truly commendable! The breakfast noodles were delicious. Staying here was a real treat; the environment was tranquil and elegant, and the service was attentive and meticulous. Especially the staff member, Xiao Liao, was incredibly helpful, resolving any needs during my stay. It was a stress-free experience. The ideal place for a leisurely family vacation – I didn't want to check out!"

Staying at the Xi Shi Jin She Hotel was an incredibly healing experience amidst the beautiful landscapes of Yangshuo. The hotel is located right by the Yulong River, and with the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, you're greeted by stunning karst peaks, with bamboo rafts slowly gliding by on the river – it feels like living inside a traditional Chinese ink painting. The room was clean and tidy, the toiletries were of excellent quality, and the facilities were exquisite and comprehensive. The butler service was attentive and thoughtful, and the authentic Guilin rice noodles for breakfast were fresh and delicious. The rooftop infinity pool offered amazing photo opportunities. It's also super convenient for visiting the Ten-Mile Gallery. This is definitely my top choice for a stay in Yangshuo, a perfect experience!

A wonderful family hotel with spacious rooms, a pool and a very peaceful atmosphere. We stayed here as a family with children and really enjoyed our time. In Yangshuo, many hotels have beautiful mountain views, but this hotel stands out because it is not only scenic, but also very quiet, peaceful and comfortable inside. For us, this was a huge advantage. This is a warm family-style hotel where you feel that the owners truly care about every guest. The hostess was always nearby and personally paid attention to the quality of service. The staff were very friendly, polite and always ready to help. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Housekeeping was done on time, and everything felt well maintained. For this level of room, the price was very reasonable, which makes the hotel a very good value for money. Another big plus is the swimming pool. For a family trip, especially with children, having a pool at the hotel is a real advantage compared with many other hotels in the area. One of the nicest details was the afternoon tea with sweets — it made the stay feel even more welcoming and personal. The atmosphere of the hotel is calm and relaxing, which is exactly what you need in the mountains. The garden, the views, the fresh air and the peaceful environment helped us rest properly. The night before, we stayed in another hotel where it was noisy and uncomfortable because of construction nearby, so here we especially appreciated the silence, cleanliness and comfort. We finally had a proper rest. This hotel is a great choice for families, for people travelling with children, and for anyone who wants a quiet and cozy place surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery. We left with very warm impressions and would be happy to come back again. Highly recommended. В Яншо, как мы поняли, у многих отелей есть красивые виды на горы, но большое преимущество именно этого отеля в том, что здесь не только красиво, но ещё и очень тихо, спокойно и комфортно внутри. Для нас это было огромным плюсом. Это уютный семейный отель, где чувствуется настоящая забота о гостях. Хозяйка всегда была рядом и лично контролировала качество обслуживания. Персонал очень доброжелательный, вежливый, всегда старался помочь и сделать проживание максимально комфортным. Номер был очень просторный, чистый и удобный. Уборка проводилась вовремя, всё было аккуратно и приятно. Для такого уровня номера цена, на наш взгляд, очень недорогая, поэтому соотношение цены и качества здесь отличное. Отдельный большой плюс — наличие бассейна. Для семейной поездки, особенно с детьми, это действительно важное преимущество по сравнению со многими другими отелями в этом районе. Также нам очень понравились приятные детали: послеобеденный чай со сладостями, зелёный двор, красивые виды, свежий воздух и общая спокойная атмосфера. В горах именно такой отдых особенно ценен — здесь можно по-настоящему расслабиться и восстановиться. Ночь до этого мы провели в другом отеле, где рядом шла стройка, было шумно и душно. Поэтому здесь мы особенно оценили тишину, чистоту и комфорт. Мы наконец-то хорошо отдохнули. Отель отлично подойдёт для семей с детьми и для тех, кто ищет не шумное место, а спокойный, уютный отдых среди красивой природы. У нас остались очень тёплые впечатления, с удовольствием вернулись бы снова. Очень рекомендуем.

I had a truly satisfying stay! The location of Wangjianglou is unbeatable, very close to West Street and the Li River, making getting around super convenient. I specifically booked the 'Leisure Courtyard View Twin Room,' and it was clean, tidy, well-equipped, and completely odor-free. The courtyard environment is incredibly tranquil and peaceful, a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The twin room was spacious enough; my family and I didn't feel cramped at all. The staff were friendly and responsive. Overall, the value for money is exceptional. It was an impeccable accommodation experience, deserving of a five-star rating!

One of the hotels with the best of of the famous rice terraces. We booked the round bed room and the bath and balcony view were amazing. As far as I checked, all rooms in this hotel face the same direction ans all have a great view. I think the higher you are, the better. However compared to many other hotels, all rooms here beat anything else . Though the room looks a bit dated and the bed was stiff (spring bed), the shower, bath and balcony was great! We were also able to eat and drink breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel. We had some miscommunication about an allergy, and tried to order without soyasaus. However twice we received the food with soyasaus after they mentioned we could order without. we sadly couldn't eat what we ordered, but we enjoyed what we could it. Staff was very friendly.

Wonderful Stay Near Yangshuo Railway Station in xingping I recently stayed at this lovely hotel right beside Yangshuo Railway Station, and my entire experience was cozy, relaxing and highly satisfying, making it a great pick for both local and international travelers. The most convenient benefit is the complimentary shuttle service between Yangshuo Railway Station and the hotel, providing free pickups and drop-offs. This took all the stress out of traveling with heavy luggage after a train journey. One minor note: the shuttle only runs until 6 PM, so after this time, guests will need to arrange their own taxi to and from the station. The rooms are incredibly spacious, bright and immaculately clean. The room comes with a large bathtub and a mini-fridge and the best window view, the hotel has a reliable elevator for easy access to upper floors. The front desk staff were warm, polite and always ready to help with any requests during our stay. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped and peaceful. There is a charming garden area with a tree house, a swing, and a shaded chill-out spot surrounded by lush green trees, perfect for unwinding outdoors. Inside the garden sits a western-style restaurant, and right beside it is a small pond filled with colorful goldfish, which adds a calm, scenic vibe to the property. The hotel also features a nice swimming pool for guests to enjoy. The surrounding area blends historic old buildings that evoke the charm of traditional Chinese dynasties with modern amenities, striking a lovely balance between old-world character and comfort. Breakfast at the hotel mainly consists of local Yangshuo dishes, which is fantastic for guests who love regional Chinese flavors. Since many foreign visitors stay here, it would be a thoughtful improvement to add freshly brewed coffee from a machine and bread options to the breakfast spread, as not all international guests prefer noodles in the morning. We got great coffee from the on-site western restaurant in the garden, which was really tasty. For e-bike rentals, there are local vendors right next to the hotel gate offering bikes, though their prices are a bit on the higher side. If you walk just around 50 meters away from the hotel, you’ll find plenty of other rental shops with much more reasonable rates 30 yuan . Overall, every part of our stay felt comfortable and pleasant, and we truly enjoyed every moment here. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yangshuo, especially travelers looking for a convenient location near the train station and a peaceful, well-kept property with friendly service.

The first thing worth mentioning is that this hostel accepts international guests without any problems. This is not always a given in China, as some hostels and hotels still do not accommodate foreign travelers. If you are visiting from Europe or any other country, you can book and stay here with confidence. Most importantly, everything you see in the photos is exactly what you get in reality. The pictures are 100% accurate and perfectly reflect the actual condition of the hostel. Everything is genuinely new, very well maintained, and exceptionally clean. There are no misleading photos or unpleasant surprises upon arrival - what you see online is exactly what you will find when you check in. Despite having only a small number of reviews, I believe this is mainly because the hostel is still very new. You can immediately notice that almost everything inside is new and extremely well maintained. The cleanliness is outstanding. I have stayed in more than 100 hostels around the world, and this is honestly one of the cleanest hostels I have ever experienced, if not the cleanest. Another thing that deserves special mention is the facilities available to guests. The hostel has a refrigerator, which is surprisingly uncommon in many hostels. There is also a fully equipped kitchen, so you can easily prepare your own meals if you prefer. A dining area with a table is available as well, making it comfortable to sit down and eat. The hostel also provides free laundry facilities. Washing detergent is included, so you can do your laundry at no extra cost. There is even a dedicated area where you can hang your clothes to dry afterwards, which is incredibly convenient for long-term travelers and backpackers. The hostel is located on the 25th floor and offers fantastic views of the city. It is also very quiet, making it a great place to rest after a day of exploring. The host is an incredibly kind and caring woman who genuinely looks after her guests. She checks on your arrival, asks about your travel plans, gives recommendations on what to see in the city, and even suggests local food and dishes to try. You can really feel that she wants every guest to have a pleasant stay. Although she does not speak English, communication is still surprisingly easy thanks to the AI translation available through Trip.com. We had no significant communication problems during my stay. If the owner continues improving her English over time, I honestly believe this could become one of the best hostels in Nanning. She has a genuinely kind heart, and her hospitality is exceptional. I will remember this stay for a very long time. It was one of the best hostel experiences I have ever had, and I would happily stay here again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ One of the Best Hotels We’ve Ever Stayed At This hotel was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to China. From the moment we arrived, we knew this place was truly special. ❤️ 💛 Staff & Service Without a doubt, the best service we experienced during our trip to China. Every member of the team was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely cared about every guest. We even spoke with several other guests, and everyone agreed—this hotel far exceeded all expectations. 🏔️ Rooms & Views Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. Waking up to the breathtaking mountain views every morning was unforgettable. 🎭 Activities Included There are so many activities that we simply didn’t have enough time to try everything! We especially loved the complimentary traditional Chinese photoshoot (including 3 professionally edited photos) and the traditional cormorant fishing demonstration. 🍕 Restaurant & Breakfast The restaurant was amazing. Alongside delicious Chinese cuisine, it also serves excellent European food. After weeks of traveling, our kids were craving familiar meals, and the truffle pizza, truffle pasta, and Margherita pizza were absolutely incredible. 😍 Breakfast was equally impressive, with a fantastic selection of hot dishes, fresh fruit, pastries, desserts, and drinks—all with spectacular mountain views. 👨👩👧👦 Perfect for Families A large kids’ playroom, a beautiful swimming pool with a children’s area, and plenty of space for families. Our kids absolutely loved it. 🏋️ Extra Amenities The hotel also has a laundry room and a small gym, which are especially convenient for longer stays. ☕ Don’t Miss the Second Hotel The hotel has a second property just 300 meters away, connected by a complimentary shuttle. We highly recommend visiting it for a coffee on the terrace overlooking the river and mountains. 📸 Please note: All of the river-view photos in this review were taken at the hotel’s second property. ❤️ Everything about this place—the scenery, the atmosphere, the activities, and most importantly, the incredible people—made our stay unforgettable. Seriously, what a find! This guesthouse is located at the highest point in Jinkeng Dazhai that's accessible by car, which saved us a lot of uphill walking. From here, it's just a 10-minute walk to Observation Deck No. 2 and 20 minutes to Observation Deck No. 1. The rooms are equipped with all sorts of high-tech facilities, spacious and comfortable, with a faint scent of tung oil. The large balcony offers direct views of the stunning rice terraces, perfect for time-lapse photography, or simply lounging around, daydreaming and sipping tea – a truly relaxing experience. We stayed here for two comfortable nights. The guesthouse even has an elevator, making it super convenient to get to the fourth floor. The owner's cooking is absolutely amazing, and even breakfast was very generous. They served complimentary homemade rice wine with every meal, and even gave us a souvenir when we left. The owner is incredibly thoughtful!

The location is excellent, very close to the 20-yuan Lijiang River scenic pier. The environment is clean and tidy, and the room is very spacious. The service attitude is superb. I booked for two nights and was supposed to check out by 12 PM on the third day. However, on the second night, my child was hit by a car and transferred to Guilin Hospital. It wasn't until the evening of the third day that my husband had time to go check out and pack our luggage. The owner kept the room for us and didn't rush us to check out at all. The owner is a truly compassionate person; they repeatedly inquired about my child's condition, didn't charge us for the late checkout, and even gave my child a red envelope. For this booking, the owner truly went above and beyond, practically losing money. Such big-hearted owners are truly rare. I wish the owner a prosperous business and abundant wealth. Thank you for your immense kindness.

First things first, the service at this hotel was really good. They helped us to plan our routes and rent some scooters. The food was also very good. They offer Chinese and western dishes at their own restaurant (luna) and as a European I have to admit that the quality of the western cuisine surprised me. The decor of the whole place feels warm and welcoming. Sadly, the moon hill park is closed right now. The other attractions are a bit further away but easily reachable by scooter.
