"This Mountain View homestead overlooks Huashan mountain. The views are incredible from both the room and the restaurant. The food is delicious. Some of the best I’ve had in China! Extremely comfortable beds too. They offer a free pick-up and drop-off service to the train stations and also to the Huashan scenic area, which is only a 5 min walk away. No need to rise too early! The family here have been extremely accommodating and friendly. I don’t speak Chinese and I am travelling alone. Luckily a smartphone allows communication and the family have really used it to make me feel at home.  They have made me feel so comfortable when I’m so far from my friends and family. Everybody has greeted me with a smile and they have offered me so much. I ate here every day and they have a beautiful cat that I had the honour of brushing. I would highly recommend this home stay for anyone visiting the region. It is in a quiet calm place compared to the hustle and bustle of Chinese cities. If I ever come back here I will definitely stay here again. 5 stars is the minimum allowed but I would give this place 10 stars if I could."

"This hotel was by far the highlight of our trip to Xi’an. The interior blends Tang-inspired aesthetics with a modern minimalist design, creating a space that feels both refined and incredibly comfortable. The communal areas on the ground floor and the tea space on the fourth floor are perfect for unwinding. Each day, guests are offered a complimentary coffee as well as drinks at the bar across the street, which is a thoughtful touch. The front desk staff are also exceptionally professional — noticeably above the standard we’ve experienced at many other hotels."

Renovated in 2025, the Solitude art inn is a great choice for accommodation in Xi'an. The hotel is just 4km away from Xi'an Railway Station. Being just minutes away from QIAOZIKOU Metro Station allows guests to explore the city with ease. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Xi'an City Wall, Xi'an Drum Tower and Dapiyuan. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This Xi'an hotel provides parking on site. If you demand a high level of service, our guests have indicated that this hotel has excellent standards. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.
"Facilities: The room was very spacious, with one bedroom, one living room, one bathroom, and a kitchen (with a fridge and washing machine). All the amenities were complete and well-equipped, and the toiletries were all brand-name, which was very thoughtful. We had a very comfortable stay. There's an elevator, so it's no problem if you have luggage. Service: The owner was also very considerate, sending directions and food recommendations in advance, and even gave us a lot of 'Bingfeng' sodas – so generous! Surroundings: It's about an 8-minute walk from the subway station, right on Muslim Street, which is quite convenient. There are plenty of food options nearby, but it's not noisy on the upper floors. Overall, it's great value for money!!"

"Service: The service was incredibly thoughtful! We received welcome fruit, a complimentary travel photoshoot, snacks, and even late-night supper. Breakfast is served from 7:30 AM to 11:00 AM, which is perfect for those who like to sleep in. The breakfast menu changes daily, and they even bring the noodles right to your table, which is a lovely personal touch. 😊 Facilities: Everything you need for dining, amenities, and lodging is conveniently available. The room was very quiet. The dental kit included wooden toothbrushes, and I was especially pleased to find Yunnan Baiyao toothpaste, as I tend to get canker sores from other brands and only use this one. Laundry detergent was also provided for washing clothes. The hotel's courtyard is also incredibly picturesque – you can get great photos just by snapping casually. 😄 View: You can see the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda right from your bed! From the breakfast window, there are different angles to view the park, and you can also catch glimpses of dancers gracefully performing under the trees next to the pagoda, looking completely at ease. It's a truly unique experience. 🤩 Travel Photoshoot: I had my makeup and hair done to suit me, and the recommended outfits were perfect for stunning photos. I absolutely loved it; it felt like fulfilling a childhood dream of wearing ancient Chinese clothing. 🥳 Because my child loved it so much, we extended our stay by an extra night. This trip to Xi'an wasn't about rushing to every single attraction; in fact, we spent more time at the hotel than at the sights. This made the overall experience very relaxing. 😎"

"We loved our stay at Tingting, it was central to the Muslim quarter in Xi’an which was a huge plus for us as it’s an extremely lively region. They were very hospitable, very kind, and very helpful in helping us in our first time visiting China. The room was clean and warm, bathroom was clean and large as well, just make sure to pick the right room. While it is a bit inside the streets of the Muslim quarter, they have signs leading up to their stay and they also are more than happy to assist you in finding the stay. Even if it was 4 am like us lol. Definitely worth checking out if you’re staying in xi’an."

"This hotel was the most pleasant surprise of our trip to Xi'an! We stayed in two other good hotels before this, but Ling Hotel was definitely the most delightful. The hotel is located north of the old city and is a bit hidden, but taking the direct elevator to the 16th-floor lobby for check-in was an absolute revelation. The public areas are wonderfully designed, with great attention to detail and a high-quality feel! The room details were also excellent. The sofa was very comfortable, and the TV was large, though the lighting was a bit dim. The LE LABO toiletries and Dyson hairdryer were definite bonuses. But the biggest surprise was the hotel's rooftop observation deck and swimming pool. The observation deck offers a complete view of the Drum Tower and the central axis, and the pool view is also perfect, especially at night when it's lit up! The most, most, MOST delightful thing was the small gift we received at check-out. They specially carved a small seal for my child! Even though we only stayed for one day, they managed to craft such an exquisite seal. This gift was truly thoughtful. Thank you to all the hotel staff! Thank you for your considerate service! My only minor suggestion is that the breakfast and late-night snack options could be improved."

"I want to start off by saying this was my first trip to China and it will definitely not be my last :) . I had the honor of staying at this amazing hotel with the most amazing host/ hostesses. They were sooo kind and patient with my family and myself. I don’t have the words to express my gratitude towards them. From helping us find the hotel when our didi dropped us off a tad bit away, to ordering food for us when my app wasn’t working twice, to giving us ponchos on our last night we were there :) thank you. I will definitely be back and will definitely be rebooking with them. The hotel was beautifully decorated and had a smart toilet in both bathrooms and was very spacious. And for those wondering yes the room also had AC and they brought us 2 water bottles per room each day. I can’t wait to be back. Also the Terracotta Museum is right down the street so it’s super convenient."

Originally, it was a birthday to relax and play, thinking that this place must not have cakes, thinking about forgetting, I didn't expect the store to still put the beautiful pink mousse cake in front of me in the heavy rain, really was a surprise, a hard poke in my heart. Superb shop, will definitely come back in the future."

"Very nice hotel. Lovely staff - very helpful, loads of advice on where to find the tastiest food in Xi’an. The bath in our room was very big and comfortable. Big bed with very soft sheets. Amazing location - 2 minutes from an entrance to the wall. Loads of great food. Treats, eye mask and ear plugs provided (in the mornings it’s a little noisy outside from the food stalls). The cats are all lovely. The hotel provides some cat food to feed the cats. Highly recommend."

"The hostess was incredibly warm and thoughtful. She drove us to and from the train station in her shuttle and dropped us off right at the scenic area entrance. She also helped us plan our hiking route and purchase the most suitable ticket package. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with beautiful views outside the window. The guesthouse is very close to the scenic area, and the large terrace is stunning. The food at the guesthouse was delicious, generously portioned, and well-priced. Highly recommended!"

The homestay we stayed in this time really exceeded our expectations! Opposite is the Daming Palace National Park, with a superior location and prosperous business. It is close to the subway entrance, and is a few stops away from the Bell Tower and the Tang Dynasty City that Never Sleeps, which is more convenient than driving. Nearby is the lively night market street of Wanda Plaza, which is very convenient for eating and shopping. The community is of high quality, the lobby is luxurious and atmospheric, the rooms are spacious and bright, with a light luxury style and exquisite design. The large flat with five bedrooms, two living rooms and three bathrooms is very practical, and it was just enough to accommodate our group of more than ten people! It is also equipped with a fully automatic mahjong machine, which added a lot of fun to our leisure time. It was as warm and comfortable as at home, and it was a very pleasant travel experience.

The place is right in Muslim quarters. It can get a bit noisy at night but we were ok with that. The service was good and even helped with a few recommendations. The only downside is the water heater which take a while to heat because there are 4 of us taking bath. Highly recommend for those food lovers. 😝🤩

Listening to the rain outside while soaking in a warm tub indoors – it was incredibly stress-relieving! It's been raining so much lately, I felt like I was about to grow mold. This weekend, I finally got to experience the hot spring getaway I'd been dreaming of. As soon as I opened the door, I was amazed – the room had a beautiful Tang Dynasty-inspired elegance! Wooden window lattices, gauze curtains, a tea ceremony setup, and even the hot tub was tucked away behind bamboo screens. The best part? Outside, it was gently raining. I was soaking in my private, steamy hot spring, with the window cracked open. The cool air, carrying the sound of the rain, drifted in, chilling my face while my body was warm to the core. This is exactly what a rainy day should feel like! The pool water was genuine hot spring water, smooth and silky; my skin felt so much softer after soaking. The room also came with rose petals and aromatherapy scents. After soaking until I had a light sweat, I wrapped myself in a bathrobe and had a hot cup of tea. It felt like all the week's fatigue was washed away by the rain. I have to say, rainy day + private hot spring + ancient aesthetic = triple the healing! If you've been feeling cooped up by the rain lately, ladies, you really should try the joy of 'escaping into your own little world' like this.

The transportation is super convenient; the owner personally picked us up and dropped us off at both the high-speed train station and scenic spots. The room was also very spacious with good facilities. The food ordered at the B&B was delicious, and ordering takeout was also very easy. The only downside was that the sunrise was a bit shy, peeking out only partially.

Location is great, not a huge fan of staff smoking at reception area. Unfortunately the doof doof music from several live venues out the front made it terrible. Nearly 2am on weekend and midnight on weekday. It literally thumped through the bed and I was lucky to get a couple of hours sleep even with ear plugs and playing music on a speaker. Unless you can sleep through anything I'd recommend finding something else in the area

Only smaller room has access to lift 🛗 bigger room is on different building and NO lift 🛗 At 12pm exactly I walk inside the hallway, to their receptionist for check in (normal check in was at 2pm actually, I missed that time frame). I have expected that my room will have no lift, but thank goodness when the receptionist opening the door behind the counter I saw a lift and I asked about it. He told me that not all room have access to it, and mine specifically is on different building with stairs, and I’m on the fifth floor with balcony 🫣 He kindly asked us whether we want to change our room and he also invite us to show each room available for the lift and for the other building, oh my gosh, I cannot tell you how struggling it was to climb to the fifth floor, we only managed to the 4th one to see the room, and gave up. We chose room 5003 as it has a large windows with unobstructed view, albeit a bit smaller than what we ordered, but the lift access make it worth it. And also if you’re on a heavier side like I am and not used to walk a lot, just bare in mind, didi are not allowed on this street, they’re motorcycles you can pay to sent you inside, but the price varies. We also only used the bicycle until their park station and has to walk inside the street another 500m +- I tried to used taobao but my item kept on failing to deliver 😭 but thank god I can return and refund all of them. All in all this has taught me a lesson to choose hotel that didi can drive literally up until the front entrance of the hotel. I’m not build to walk a lot 😭 and literally carrying 5kg of rice in my bagpack too along with how many litres of drinks. But the hotel is nice, they treat us well, and very whenever I WeChat they will make sure to reply promptly. The cleanliness can be improved, and the amenities are a little bit outdated. There’s foreign hairs from mopping I think, so we just wipe the floors with clean towel again.

I stayed here for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff were very friendly, and the food was delicious. The location is a bit far from the city center, but it’s close to the Huashan scenic area, making it perfect if you plan to visit the mountain. If you’re looking for a quiet and peaceful environment, this accommodation is an excellent choice. The place feels homely and welcoming. They provide free shuttle services to the Huashan ticket office and the train station, which is very convenient. The common area on the first floor is also very relaxing. Tip: Call the accommodation in advance to arrange a pick-up from the train station. Didi taxi drivers at the station tried to overcharge me, so the free shuttle is a much better option. There is also a small strip mall near the Huashan ticket office with more shops and restaurants if you need anything.

The hostess was incredibly warm and thoughtful. She drove us to and from the train station in her shuttle and dropped us off right at the scenic area entrance. She also helped us plan our hiking route and purchase the most suitable ticket package. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with beautiful views outside the window. The guesthouse is very close to the scenic area, and the large terrace is stunning. The food at the guesthouse was delicious, generously portioned, and well-priced. Highly recommended!
