"The location is fantastic – a 5-minute walk to the entrance of Patuk Setumbu, a 20-minute walk to Chicken Church, and a 15-minute taxi ride to Borobudur. The room is new, clean, and well-equipped with good water pressure and amenities. Breakfast is served buffet style. The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive, and their coffee knowledge, in particular, is exceptional. They even do swan latte art! It was a very relaxing stay, and I'd love to come back with my family next time."

"The staff was great, we had questions they could answer quickly and help us deliver what we needed to the room, and we wanted to go to Borobudur and provide driver pick-up, it was great! Nearby is a very simple village, nothing to hang around, the locals are very friendly, have a pair of curious and kind eyes, very like it here. What I really want to improve is that the hot water in the bathroom is not too hot."

"Beautiful View from Balkon to enjoy sunrise. Pleasant stay with Family. It has Only 2 Villas. There is kitchen and complete equipment. Provide Hot water, TV with netflix. "It's a very rare non-view hotel among the hotels. It was a bungalow accommodation in the middle of the rice field. There is no restaurant around, so you have to eat dinner at the hotel. Although the food is priced, I like it because it is made with fresh ingredients. Especially in Islamic countries, beer can be ordered, so I ate it very much It was nice to give unlimited delicious coffee that was dull but not used. But maybe it's because the entrance to the softer is different. It's a long way to walk. We called grapp and rode a tuk-tuk when we came. The accommodation is quiet and quiet, so it is good to heal, but once it gets dark, it is difficult to get out of the accommodation."

In terms of atmosphere, this hotel actually met our expectations quite well, especially as we prefer a place that is not too crowded, with a natural tropical landscape and an ethnic-rustic architectural style. The room size was also quite spacious, noticeably larger than a typical hotel room. Another plus point was the Smart TV, which made the children happy as they could watch Netflix comfortably. However, we were rather disappointed with the condition of the room, particularly the bathroom. There was a strong unpleasant odor, similar to a septic tank smell, coming from the toilet/WC area, which was quite disturbing and affected our comfort during the stay. The bathroom also seemed poorly maintained, as seen from the cracked/chipped toilet water tank. In addition, the bathroom ceiling looked untidy and appeared to be sagging on one side. Another issue that bothered us was the presence of many large black ants inside the room, especially around food. The swimming pool was also not very comfortable, as the chlorine level seemed too high, causing irritation to the eyes and nose when exposed to the water. As for the restaurant, the food variety was rather limited. What surprised us even more was that omelets or eggs were limited to one portion per guest. Overall, we believe this hotel has good potential in terms of atmosphere, concept, and room size. However, for a 3-star boutique hotel with a rate of around IDR 900,000 per night, the condition of the facilities and the overall stay experience did not feel proportionate. In our opinion, the hotel is somewhat overpriced.

Omah Alchy Cottages was, without question, the highlight of our trip to Karimunjawa Island. Everything about this place was exceptional. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and genuinely cared about making our stay memorable. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, providing the perfect place to relax after a day exploring the island. What truly sets Omah Alchy apart, however, is its breathtaking location. Step outside your bungalow and you're right by the sea. The property has its own jetty stretching out over the water, which became our favorite spot every evening to watch the most spectacular sunsets. Seeing the sun sink into the horizon over the calm sea was simply unforgettable. As an added bonus, guests can use the free canoes to paddle out on the water and enjoy the beautiful surroundings from a different perspective. It's the kind of place where you can completely switch off and appreciate the natural beauty of Karimunjawa. If you're visiting Karimunjawa Island, do yourself a favor and stay here. Omah Alchy Cottages offers an incredible combination of stunning scenery, fantastic accommodation, and genuinely wonderful hospitality. We would return in a heartbeat.

The hotel staff was very helpful, friendly and caring. We were travelling in Indonesia with my grandparents but my grandpa was unlikely got hit by a motorcycle. His condition was very serious. The hotel staff spontaneously went to the hospital to help us and gave us a lot of useful information. They also bought us food and drinks. We are really grateful to have them with us during those difficult times as we do not speak Indonesian and obviously we were under great stress. Their assistance relieved us. They even tried their very best to find someone who can speak Chinese to see if they can offer us help. Moreover, they offered a free hotel room just in case we were unable to transfer to a bigger hospital in Yogyakarta. Their hotel may not be the best in the town but their warmness and hospitality far exceeded any five star hotel I have stayed before.

Good place to stay, very nice ambience, calming but unfortunately there was a drone flying in the morning when we still at our jacuzzi (fyi the jacuzzi located semi outdoor), and we dont know whose drone is that from hotel or others visitors, we just need a lil bit privacy. And lucky us we got so noisy neighbour, we saw 3 adults and 3 children?? How come one room for soo many people? The parents saw the TV so loud till midnight & the kids crying in a lot of time :”) when we ordered the bbq they said its gonna be got 2 can of gas, but they only give us 1, the stove and the pan they charged us separately and the pan really not worth for using anymore sorry. And there is no discount for the lack of the portable gas. Hopefully they can improve how to manage about term & cons to stay at this property. Thank u

I recently stayed at Omah Laut Bondo Jepara with my friends, and overall, it was a really enjoyable experience. The location is excellent—peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a relaxing getaway away from the city noise. It truly adds to the charm of the stay. The service was outstanding; the staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help, which made our trip even more comfortable. The cottage itself was clean and well-maintained, though there is a bit of room for improvement in certain areas. Similarly, the facilities were good and met most of our needs, but a few enhancements could make the experience even better. Overall, it was a memorable stay, especially for a friends’ trip. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and pleasant seaside retreat.
