"This guesthouse has a great environment; the rooms are clean and non-smoking. There's a dining table and tableware available, as well as a refrigerator to store your food. There's also a self-service laundry downstairs, which is simple and convenient. The elevator is fast and easy to use. Check-in and check-out are also straightforward. There are many restaurants nearby, and it's close to tourist attractions."

"The location of the property is excellent, and the building is well maintained. The unit is equipped with most essential amenities, including a refrigerator, washing machine, water heater, iron, and basic kitchen utensils. However, several advertised facilities were not functional during our stay, including the kitchen stove, chimney hood, living room ceiling fan, and TV. The check-in process could be clearer. I had to contact the property a day in advance to obtain the check-in instructions and pay a RM200 security deposit. The deposit was refunded a few hours after checkout without any issues. The biggest downside of this property is the ongoing construction directly in front of the building. There was constant noise from drilling and blasting, and the area was very dusty. Construction work even continued into the night, making it difficult to relax and causing me a headache. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay, it’s worth checking whether the construction has been completed before booking."

"The house cleaniness really need to improved. The sink is stuck, water outflow is slow. Even the utensils is oilly and pot is oilly also. The bedsheet got stains and toilet didn't clean properly. I wouldn't stay here anymore. The sofa foam is sinking also."

"Our 1-night stay at Tambuna Retreat was a great way to escape the busy city. The environment is really peaceful, and the buildings have a simple and nice design that looks good. It was perfect for our family because they have a fun play area for the children, so we could spend good quality time with the kid. The swimming pool is comfortably not that cold. The staff are friendly and helpful. Even for just a short 1-night trip, it felt like a great, relaxing break."

"Great place to stay for families, the pool is nice too. However, a lift was down and it was a long wait to get inside the lift.. but not byon's issue, the place was a great stay :) this was a stay with an extended night! Very cozy and looks exactly as advertised."

"Location is great as near to town. Only inconvenience is when you need to go to town, you need to drive further down to make a U-turn. The floor inside the unit is dusty. I really don't feel comfortable walking on it. Should put up notes in the unit that housekeeping is not available for those staying 2 nights or more unless we make special request. So that we can ask for drinking water or toilet rolls on our way back to the unit. The swimming pool, guard should enforce stricter rules that only swimming suits are allowed in the pool. T-shirts (even for parents) should not be allowed at all in the pool."

"The basic foundations is spot on. While many accessories are provided and placed conveniently. Cleanliness and hygiene is flawless. What surprised me is the view from the balcony, shadowing upon the theme park itself and I also find the little preparation for the bed adorable. Overall this had been an amazing experience, while staying here and I'll definitely choose this Airbnb to shelter once again!"

Check-in was smooth, and the host was friendly, responsive, and provided clear instructions throughout the stay. "I booked this particular room for its direct pool access and the bathtub. Pros: The room was clean, the shower water pressure was strong, the bed was comfortable, and the air-conditioning worked well throughout our stay. Front desk staff was friendly. Cons: The actual room felt smaller than what was presented in the photos on the booking page. There is no on-site food service, and breakfast is not provided. When we enquired, hotel staff encouraged us to order food delivery instead. It would have greatly enhanced the experience if the hotel offered breakfast by the pool for guests. We chose this property expecting a true hideaway experience away from the city. However, having to source our own meals elsewhere was inconvenient and detracted from the overall stay. Considering the price paid, the experience did not feel worthwhile, and we regretted the decision."
