"The price is small but expected a little more) The air conditioner did not work practically, it was impossible to leave it on the night very noisy, it had to turn off. Although it didn't cool at all in the day. Through the same air conditioner, all the sounds from the street were heard. There was no blanket yet. The bathroom was quite uncomfortable, all sticky. The lock on the door was eating. But there was hot water! The location is kind of good, but the road on the entrance is quite uncomfortable, all of the stones"

Our flight arrived early, and they were very accommodating by allowing us to check in as early as 11:00 AM, which we truly appreciated. They even prepared a small suprise for me since we arrived on the day of my birthday. We booked the Rattan Villa for five people, and it was incredibly spacious. There was more than enough room for everyone to move around comfortably. We also had restful nights—the beds were so soft and comfortable that it felt like sleeping in a five-star hotel. The resort has a peaceful and relaxing ambiance. Although there was some ongoing construction during our stay, it wasn't a major issue since we were out most of the day for our island activities, and the work had already stopped by the time we returned each afternoon. We also enjoyed dining at their restaurant. The food was delicious, and we appreciated that the chef personally came over to ask how we liked our meals. My only suggestion would be to add more menu options, as the resort is quite far from restaurants and convenience stores. Having a wider selection would be especially helpful for guests staying several days. The staff were all friendly, accommodating, and approachable. They assisted us with everything we needed before, during, and even after our stay, making us feel well taken care of. Overall, I highly recommend Ferra Resort to anyone looking for a peaceful and private getaway. "Kalipay is conveniently located along the main road, walking distance from CEV (the best ceviche in Siargao) and Happiness Bar (best happy hour deal). The resort is quiet, has a nice pool and the rooms are clean. The staff are amazing — friendly, accommodating and extra helpful. The receptionist, Kim, took really good care of us."

"We stayed at this guesthouse for 7 days, but couldn't bear it and moved to another place on the 3rd day. Pros: - Cute, friendly, clean, and quiet animals in the house. - The room itself was quite clean, with a few exceptions that I'll mention in the cons. - There's a private balcony where you can smoke. - The room is reasonably spacious, with enough room to unpack luggage, hang clothes, etc. - There are magazines and books in the room. - Good location, with many restaurants and shops nearby. - They quickly arranged airport transfer for us for 400 pesos. Cons: - The air conditioner was TERRIBLY noisy and sometimes ineffective. Plus, there's a fan. This symphony of sound at night won't let you sleep properly, and the heat caused constant nightmares. - Adding to this symphony of sound was a non-working refrigerator. We turned it on the first night, and it hummed like a train. In the morning, we found out it wasn't working... - During our stay, the hairdryer broke... A wet head combined with the AC and fan won't leave your immune system indifferent; you'll likely catch a cold, even with the poorly functioning AC... - Constant lack of toilet paper and difficulty getting more. - The bathroom floor was perpetually wet because water from the shower flowed directly onto the floor. When we checked in, the mat was squelching. Our rating: 6/10"
