"I had a great stay at Desti Youth Park Changsha. The hostel was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The rooms were cozy, and I really appreciated that there were plenty of bathrooms, so it never felt crowded. They also have a laundry area, which was very convenient during my trip. A special thanks to Eric at the reception — he was friendly, helpful, and made the stay even more enjoyable with his excellent service. Overall, I had a wonderful experience here, and I will definitely come back again the next time I visit Changsha."

"I had a very comfortable stay. The owner was super nice, and the environment was beautiful and clean. The landlady cleaned every day! It's really close to the subway station, just 100m from Huangxing Square. There are plenty of options for food, drinks, and entertainment nearby. Guys, I've even seen this place half an hour after checking out."

"This is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! The host is so unbelievably friendly and kind, and the dinner was so good and I got to meet many travellers staying there too! It is my first time travelling solo and I met amazing people here. The hostel is within walking distance from the forest park’s east gate. There are a few restaurants less than a minute’s walk nearby. The hostel itself is very clean with sheets you can change yourself, as well as having a night light and foldable table. Toilets are shared among the same gender, shampoo and body wash is provided. There’s even a rooftop space for you to hangout at. I highly recommend staying here if you’re a solo traveller as you’ll feel so welcome here! P.S. you can book tickets through the host as it is discounted as well!"

"Very nice little place. Owners are friendly and helpful. There is a common area and good wifi, many floors (8+) and many different rooms. Free laundry on the balcony and drinking water, microwave and hot water available, with a food steamer as well. The location is easy to find, close to the river and the main area for the night show. Although the humidity is insane in this little town, this hostel tries to fight it with these machines that dehumidify the air. So in the dorms you will see a bit of mould, but I think all in all that can't be avoided in a humid town like this. Overal it is a nice little stay, the only improvement would be for the cleaning to be immaculate. Recommend 100% if you are a low budget backpacker!"

"My stay was a great experience, the place is very quiet, very clean and everything is very tidy. It is well located, near the Tianmen Cableway Station and the Central Bus Station, in case you require a taxi service or a tour, they will provide you with the information. They have a washing machine so you can use it, which is very practical and convenient. The owner is very nice, friendly and attentive to whatever you need. Without a doubt, when I return to Zhangjiajie I will stay here."

"I really recommend staying at this hostel! The ladies at the front desk were very nice and helpful. They not only show you the best route to take, but also help purchase the tickets. The room was also great, there were two separate bathrooms with a shower and toilet and a separate area with sink for six-people room. In the bathroom you can also find shampoo and shower gel. The bed was also nice, it was quite big and relatively soft. The last plus of this hostel is that you have a chance to meet some amazing people if you choose a shared room! (And you might see a cute cat at the entrance)."

"The accommodation experience was quite good. There were two people when we checked in, and one person left behind. There was quite a lot of space. Downstairs is Xinglong Pedestrian Street, and next to it is Bubugao Plaza. There are many snacks and shopping is convenient. The room has windows and a balcony to dry clothes. Each bed is equipped with a small electric fan and air conditioner. It is convenient for other travelers to check in. If you don’t know the way for the first time, you can look at the diagram below (the text behind the first picture should be Unit 7, not Unit 4) Haha, the road is a bit circuitous, but I can remember it the first time I walked. It's very convenient."

"I saw this hostel reviewed on Xiaohongshu and booked two nights based on the great photos on their profile. The location is excellent, nestled in an alley right opposite Yuelu Mountain. It's a lovely, quiet spot. The bed was big and very soft, and the dorms are separated by gender. The bathroom and toilet are combined, and the shower pressure is fantastic. They have a cute poodle, and I also saw a black cat in the lobby and a Siamese cat on the rooftop where I was drying my clothes. Overall, I was really happy, so I extended my stay by another night! Just two minor points: the lighting in the glass room on the first floor is quite harsh, making it impossible to see my face when putting on makeup. Also, the Wi-Fi in my third-floor room was incredibly slow; I had to go downstairs to work on my tablet. Hope they can improve that!"

[Other] The owner also sang karaoke with us and introduced me to a song called ”Post-Rock” (or ”Slow Rock,” I can't quite remember). The song was fun, but it didn't do justice to the owner's personal charm. His goal this year seems to be skydiving or paragliding; I wish him success! [Summary] Danxia red cliffs reflected in the setting sun, Chenzhou is like a dream, no need to return! Mugen Youth Hostel, definitely worth a stay!"
