Hostels σε Catalonia, Spain

"The location is fantastic! Casa Milà is just a 3-minute walk away, and Casa Batlló is 7 minutes away, so many attractions are within walking distance. However, there are too few toilets in the women's restroom on the second floor – only one. I had to go down to the first floor to use the restroom late at night because someone was using it. Even on the first floor, there are only two."

"This place was decent, nothing special. It was quite expensive for a hostel, on the pricier side, but at least it felt safe. However, Barcelona in general is like this, so you can't expect too much."

"the location is in local residential area, quiet, large court yard, room is clean, breakfast is reasonable, ( fresh fruit will be good if provided) reception staff is not quite helpful, just doing her minimum work."

"I rarely write reviews, but this place really impressed me and I just had to praise it. First off, the hostel's location is super convenient; you can walk to everything. The staff were also incredibly kind. On my first day, the lovely lady at reception saw me struggling with a lot of luggage and let me check in early 🥺 which was a huge help. Plus, the entire hostel, everywhere you go, smells wonderful! My dorm mates were also great, and the dorm area was always quiet. I could easily take a peaceful nap during the day. The air conditioning temperature was perfect too; I wasn't cold at all at night even with just a sheet. All in all, it was fantastic."

"The hotel was decent, we enjoyed our stay there. Except, the cleaning personnel must have thought we left one night earlier and took away everything we did not put in the locker. Then in the morning we had to leave, and our stuff was nowhere to be found. The receptionist did try to help us, and I got my earplugs back, but my pyjamas, toothbrush, sleeping mask etc were still lost."

"Whenever I go to Barcelona, I always stay here. Everything is clean and the service is perfect. I can always work in the common areas, leave my luggage before and after my stay, and the breakfast is great."

"The old-fashioned elevator was really charming. The quad room was great, with spacious bottom bunks that you wouldn't bump your head on. I booked for three days, and everything was good except on the last day I found some small bugs on the bed. They didn't look like fleas or bed bugs. I forgot to take a picture."

"Excellent location, and the staff were wonderful. I really appreciated the individual bed lamps and conveniently placed power outlets. The only downside is that the bathrooms and facilities could use some improvement as they're quite neglected."

"Overall, my stay was very good. I met a lot of lovely people, and the common area was excellent, with a kitchen and fridge available for everyone to use – a great option if you're on a budget. There are also washing machines and dryers, which are slightly cheaper than what you'd find outside. Each room has its own bathroom, which was quite clean, but the public bathrooms were a bit concerning. Regarding the room, on the first night, perhaps because I was on the top bunk with no netting, and I'm prone to insect bites, I got a 'mosquito gift package' – about 20-30 bites all over my body. I was so itchy I couldn't sleep. Although I'm not sure if it was mosquitoes or other insects, my first night's experience was really not good. After I mentioned it to the front desk staff, they checked for bed bugs, sprayed mosquito repellent in the room, and moved me to another bed. Things improved afterward, though that might also be because I bought my own mosquito repellent and anti-itch cream. On a positive note, the supermarket downstairs is excellent for buying dinner ingredients, and the water sold there is very cheap. You can also find mosquito repellent and anti-itch cream there; I bought them for 10+20€, just for your reference, and the anti-itch cream was super effective! If you're prepared for mosquitoes, I think this is a really great place to stay. It's very close to both the subway and bus stops, making it incredibly convenient to get to all the popular attractions, and the area feels very safe."
