"The location is excellent, very close to Lake Towada bus station and the pier, which is great for first-timers. If you're hiking the Oirase Stream, you can store your luggage at the hotel and then take a bus to the trailhead. The room size is quite large for a Japanese hotel. Highly recommended."

"Hotel Relabo boasts an excellent location right next to the JR station. You can take an elevator directly from the station's third floor, via a connecting passage, to the hotel's reception on the fourth floor – super convenient! A highlight of the hotel is its hot springs, and they also offer yoga activities, though we didn't participate since we don't speak Japanese. Guests staying at the hotel can enjoy the hot springs for free. Female guests are escorted into the bathhouse by staff, which feels very safe. After a relaxing soak, you can grab an ice pop or head to the observation deck to enjoy some biscuits and apple juice while taking in the views – truly the essence of a laid-back vacation. Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly during breakfast, which was Western-style and absolutely delicious."

"Very satisfied with this hotel. The breakfast selection was quite good. Everything else was perfect, except for the slightly inconvenient transportation. The room was very clean and offered great value for money. The check-in experience was excellent, with many hot springs to choose from, and the apple hot spring was absolutely amazing! Starting in the afternoon, you could enjoy free-flowing apple cider, apple champagne, apple juice, and more."

We were assigned a high-floor room on the 12th floor with a beautiful ocean view, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The room was spacious, and the beds were large and very comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The hotel is well-equipped with excellent hot spring facilities, including both indoor and outdoor baths as well as a sauna — a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring Aomori. Hotel breakfast is delicious and many choices. We also appreciated the practical amenities provided. The laundry machines are free to use, with a 30-minute wash cycle. The dryer costs only 100 yen for 20 minutes, which is very convenient for longer stays. The room also features a large, modern TV, and the hair dryer provided is a premium Refa brand, which was a nice touch. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay with great onsen facilities and thoughtful amenities. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Aomori."

"Location is good. Lot of restaurants within walking distance. Not able to park at hotel carpark due to limited lot. Park at nearby carpark. Just a short 6mins walk. Over night parking rate is cheaper than hotel rate. Room size consider bigger than typical Japan hotel room size. Breakfast is typical Japanese style with lot varieties. There onsen in hotel."

"I just entered the room and found a lot of bugs on the ground. I asked the boss to clean it. After I checked in, bugs continued to appear. Later, I found that the room we stayed in was just an escape ladder equipment room. Where did the bug enter the room (brown winged scorpion is super stinky), I believe the boss should know about this room problem, We shouldn't rent out this room, we've caught bugs all night."

"Wonderful ski-in and ski-out location at Aomori Spring Ski Resort. The room was spacious and comfortable, with dedicated ski lockers for each guest. Food was a catered buffet which I feel can be improved. The dishes weren't particular delicious but neither was it bad, just mediocre. If you have a chance to book the Sukiyaki meal, please do! It has an additional fee but is totally worth it."

"We stayed for 5 nights and were very satisfied with the value for money. We experienced the family bath and hot springs, and booked two rooms that included breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed delicious Japanese food every day. The problem arose on the last day during breakfast. About 10 minutes before the 9 AM closing time, my mother, trying to be considerate of the restaurant staff, poured her remaining coffee into a paper cup, intending for our family of four to clear our dishes and leave. At that moment, an old man, leaning with both hands on the kitchen counter, loudly shouted something unintelligible at us. Our entire family was startled, confused, and didn't understand what he was saying. As foreigners who don't speak Japanese, we couldn't comprehend him. After hearing him repeatedly shout loudly, we guessed we should pour the coffee back into the cup and left. Other guests were present, and this experience was the worst, ruining our family's impression of Japan. Shortly after, we tried to ask the old man about it, but he pretended not to understand English and avoided conversation, retreating into the kitchen. If there's a communication barrier, they should use a friendly translation app or clearly guide guests with actions instead of a kitchen staff member standing like a king with arms outstretched, shouting. Also, it was uncomfortable to have restaurant staff constantly watching how many plates people took, probably because individual dishes were served one by one. It's been a while since our trip ended, but that incident still pops into my mind. My family also talks about it. I hope they don't ruin tourists' enjoyable trips with rigid and inappropriate behavior. We felt disrespected as foreigners. I briefly explained this to the front desk using a translator, and a female staff member repeatedly offered polite apologies. Due to our departure schedule, we couldn't speak with the old man again or receive an apology, which is probably why we won't be returning to Japan."

"We stayed at the Japanese Style Tatami room for our time at Hirosaki. Location was near Hirosaki Castle Park and not too far away from Hirosaki JR station. There were local bus stops located nearby the hotel - the hotel also provided a free shuttle bus service from the hotel to Hirosaki Station (one way only service, so you still got to find your own way to the hotel when you arrive), just got to inform the front desk at least 1 day in advance.  Room was clean and had a good view of Hirosaki city, free flow of Apple Juice and coffee at the lobby downstairs was a plus."
