Right up the hill, our room had a view of the Torii, and the onsen is great, with an inside and outside option. They also offered to drive us to and from the ferry, but it’s such a short walk, we didn’t mind. The famous white tanuki is sometimes seen nearby, and around the corner the best anago meshi in town.

2-night stay Location: Easy to find, a 5-minute walk straight from JR Miharashi Station, and a 5-minute walk to AEON. There are many restaurants, a large public bath, and one hour of free bicycle rental. Service: Attentive, prompt, and proactive; very polite; one complimentary beer per person per day. Room: Spacious, well-laid out, elegantly decorated, comfortable bedding, clean, strong shower water pressure, and ideal soundproofing. A combination lock is used to open the room door. A complimentary bottle of water is provided if cleaning is not required. Breakfast: Wide selection, both Japanese and Western, with fresh ingredients and quick replenishment. Unfortunately, the coffee machine was under repair during my stay.

Initially i wanted to book a hotel somewhere in the downtown. But the breakfast and the dinner here caught my eyes. Also the view of the inland islands. I stayed 2 nights here, I came from Fukuoka where my plane landed. The taxi fare from hiroshima station to the hotel is about 3000-3500 yen. There is free hotel shuttle bus but i did not take it. Also, there is public bus stopping right outside the hotel (which i found out later). Though the hotel is old, it is well kept and clean. The staff were very eager to assist the guests and there is always a smile on the face. I was given the 17th floor facing east. But the morning sun was too bright. Though it didnt matter much to me. Another reason i booked this hotel is they have speed boat counter for Miyajima island. I booked one way there as I have the JR pass for return and I have plans after. One way ticket from hotel to Miyajima is 2400 yen and return is 4500 yen. There is a convenience store in the hotel. But I believe they closes at 2200. Also, there is hot spring in the hotel. There is a usage charge for it, but i do not recall the price as i did not use. I went up to the bar on the 1st night. The view was great. Most importantly the price are reasonable too. For both days, i ate at the chinese restaurant for breakfast. 1st day was Japanese breakfast set. 2nd day was Japanese buffet style breakfast. They were delicious. The western and Japanese buffet breakfast at the top floor were very crowded. But they had more selections. For my return trip to Beppu, I used the concierge (bell desk) to send my big luggage to Fukuoka. The price was okay. I took the hotel shuttle bus go Hiroshima station. It was a pleasant ride. Do take note it is first come first serve and there’s a queue. I will stay here again, should I come back to Hiroshima. Thank you.

It was a nice stay. We took a Junior Suite with the private onsen included. The room is not huge, but has everything needed and is cozy enough. There are many amenities (in the pure Japanese hotel tradition) as well as a ”Yukata bar” in which you can choose your fav yukata. The biggest perk of the room is obviously the private onsen, which is a truly hidden gem. Very relaxing with a nice seaview. Staff was very helpful with the clogged sink (came just a few minutes after we called). The dinner was an impressive buffet, with a wide choice of seafood both to cook (the oysters, abalone and other shells to be grilled were wow) and raw (ikura all you can eat). Besides that, there was a steak live cooking station, shabu shabu as well as sukiyaki. Definitely a recommended stay!

The number of guests on the app did not match the hotel plan. However, the plan was listed as an available slot, so I should have wondered about it, but I made the reservation without thinking about it. On the day, the number of guests did not match, so I was a little flustered, but the hotel accepted it and dealt with it, which was a relief. The kaiseki dinner at night was also delicious and looked great! The location was great and we traveled by car, but there were two parking lots, so it was convenient to go to Miyajima. At night, there is a dragon boat that allows you to see Itsukushima Shrine, and it is a service that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and genders. I didn't have time to ride it this time, but next time I would like to adjust my schedule to include a private bath and use it. The guests seemed to be couples of all ages, families with small children, and business entertaining!

This was my first time staying at a Dormy Inn, and I had a great experience! The facilities and cleanliness were top-notch. I especially liked the door between the room and the hallway; it made it much quieter and kept the air conditioning cooler. They have hot springs, ice cream, and even late-night snacks! My only regret is not staying for a few more nights. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the JR station, which makes getting around a little inconvenient.

There is no airport bus, but you can book a taxi at the front desk. It costs 1,000 yuan per person to share a taxi with other guests, which is very cost-effective, but the time is fixed and you cannot choose it yourself. It is a bit expensive to arrange a car alone at 2,000 yuan.

I went to Miyajima on a family trip and used it for the first time. The hot spring is in the basement, and it has an old-fashioned atmosphere with only a large bathtub １, and it is not so large, and the scenery is not good because it is in the basement. Compared to the hot spring resorts devised at this time, it may feel unsatisfactory, but it is clean and the temperature is around ４０ degrees, so it is ”good old” while taking a long bath. I felt that it was a place to enjoy. It was stated that the quality of the hot water was slightly salty and smooth, and it was pumped and boiled from the source. I was able to take a comfortable bath without being squeezed or dry even by families with weak skin. Unfortunately, there are no open-air baths or private baths, but some rooms have open-air baths with rooms, so I think you can choose according to your taste. What should be noted here is the wonderfulness of the food. The amount of meals varies or is insufficient depending on the course and price, which is often a big preparation at such a large inn, and the impression and quality of appearance are greatly different from the images on the site. Instead of having a sense of failure such as the dishes that were cold at the time of serving inn dishes, we were able to provide a wonderful dish of a more impressive level. This time we were in the room, and it was originally said that Masazen was the basic set, but ４ kind of seasonal course dishes (Masazen, delicious fish, delicious meat, delicious feast) with guidance on the site. I requested it at the stage of advance reservation and received everything with my family. There is no loss at all in every course, and the abundant ingredients unique to the land are carefully prepared, and all of them are very delicious, and the individual dishes requested by the order are prepared quickly. At the end, he made rice balls for dinner, which were full and could not be eaten, and he was able to provide a supreme time beyond the best. In addition, the breakfast at the dining hall I received the next morning was surprisingly luxurious with a large number of items, but the amount was gradually appropriate and very satisfying. They offer complimentary drinks and ice cream, and after a relaxing hot spring bath, there's even beer and cold beverages. The room was very comfortable, and the duvet was exceptionally nice. I slept so well! It was also a treat to choose a different yukata every day!

Facilities: The room was on the smaller side for two people to move around freely, but having a microwave was a great bonus. Cleanliness: Standard for a business hotel, with refreshed linens. Environment: Decent, and the location was superb. Service: The hot spring on the 10th floor was a pleasant experience, also featuring an outdoor pool and a sauna.
