The room is large and spacious. Private full kitchen is provided for your cooking. The whole room is well partitioned into sleeping area, washing room and kitchen which are all tidy and clean. The manager is friendly and can chat with you on different topics. Wifi signal is strong.

We needed a simple, affordable place to crash for one night, and Raceway Motel did the trick! Sure, it's basic, but the price was fantastic and the location couldn't be beat.

What a lovely stay this was. Close and convenient to where we needed to be the next morning. Greeted by a vary gracious host who walked us to our room (never has this happened before at similar places we stayed at). Apartment was just what we needed for a family of 4 & so neat and tidy. Will definitely stay again.

We drove up to Christchurch for the Killers Concert and Raceway Motel was the perfect location, so close to the arena. On top of that the room was lovely and had a Kitchenette for incase you want to cook which was a nice surprise. The staff were super friendly and welcoming too, nicest customer service experience I’ve had in a while. Would definitely come back :)

Sehr freundliches Personal an Rezeption, schöne große Zimmer. Nicht ganz neu, aber sehr sauber und alles in Ordnung. Trotz Straßennähe relativ ruhig und gut gegen Lärm abgeschirmt. Gute Betten, gut geschlafen.

設備は古いですが、清潔で、キッチンダイニングと部屋が分かれていて、とても快適に過ごせました。

This place is ok if you are on a really strict budget. However the beds were around 20 years old by the feel of them - huge rolltogether issues, springs digging into you, all that fun stuff. Otherwise rooms were an ok size, staff are nice and location is good. Shower a bit confusing as the mixer is upside down (facing up) and also on backwards and so instead of pulling out to turn on, you have to push it all the way in to the wall.

We had a good time staying at this motel. We booked a studio which is quite convenient to a family. The location is at close edge to city center. People are helpful and friendly. Laundry is available for free.
