Will take advantage of American guests. This hotel has some of the most unprofessional staff I have seen. Not accommodating and will hustle you out of every dollar you have. During my stay my shower door glass shattered into pieces while I was asleep and they forced me to pay for it or the cops would come and I would have to pay them a bribe as well. Instead of asking if I was okay, receptionist Aklilu Mengistu was only concerned on how I planned to pay for the shower door. On my way out the bellman threw my luggage into the street. Luckily the glass didn’t hit me but this is a safety hazard to use cheap glass. If you decide to book with this hotel, make sure to inspect your room before agreeing to stay in there or you will pay for any damages on your way out or end up in the hospital from something breaking on you. Every room’s shower leaks so you have to place a towel on the floor or you will be swimming in the bathroom. The included breakfast is a 2/10. The chechepesa has no berbere or kibay. It is dry kita. The firfir is straight shinkurt. Your best bet for breakfast is getting an omelette made at the station, requesting a special tea, and getting a pastry. Don’t bother ordering room service. The wraps and sandwiches are not edible. The hotel is in a central location but you have to be careful when you are stepping out. Our friend got spit on and they tried to steal his wallet. Will not be staying here again.
