The environment is first-class, it is a good place for a vacation, and the staff are very friendly and enthusiastic! We used the taxi app Pick Me to take a taxi in Galle, and then took the bus to Mirissa. In fact, as long as it is not the rush hour, the conditions of their buses are passable. Much cleaner than India, maybe there will be surprises

The hotels were always healed with a smile. The food was OK. I think the location is very good. I will use it next time.

We stayed for 2 nights and wished we stayed longer! Room was spacious and clean with an amazing view on the high floor. We had dinner buffet at Weligama Kitchen and food was great! Breakfast served there was delicious with great variety from Western , Asian, Indian but the Sri Lankan style breakfast was the best! Tide Bar is a great place to relax and have drinks with scrumptious snack too. We spent most of our time at the resort and it was very relaxing. The environment was suitable for couples and family at the same time. Lastly, service was top notch, everyone was friendly and helpful. TK and Kalpani from Weligama kitchen always checking on us, Sachinthaka , Asanka and Dharmika from Tides always cheerful and greeting us when we head there for drinks. Would definitely return and recommend to family and friends visiting beautiful Sri Lanka!

We stayed here for 10 nights and had a great experience. What a lovely little Hotel, with excellent staff, a special mention to Kevin and also Beauntie (sorry if spelt wrong )they saw to all our needs Kevin is a gem . All the staff were great, always smiling and happy to say hello when they met you daily. The guy that seen to the beach beds was great. also he always managed to find you a great spot on the beach. Not forgetting the guy that seen to my pre-bed cocktails each night. We had a superior room looking out towards the beach on the ground floor. It was lovely . Any small Repairs that had to be seen to there was no wait involved. After reporting the issues to reception , the lady on reception was very helpful and accommodating. We particularly enjoyed barbecue night which was on a Friday. The food was amazing. Breakfast was also good too You would never leave hungry. The seafood was lovely also. You could use the pool at the other hotel just ask reception and they will send a buggy for you. It will take you there and back free. The only downsides I would mention is the taxi that took us to the airport the driver was falling asleep and had to stop to get a wash and a coffee we had still an hour and a half to go he just left us sitting in the car but this was not the hotels fault, it was scary as he was texting and eating and was all over the road when he continued, not the fault of the hotel . Also, the loud music from the hotels on each side of ours was horrendous so loud. This was out of our hotels control. Unfortunately one morning it went on till 4.30am the morning mostly 2 am at the earliest once again, not our hotels fault . The only other problem we had was the security guard nightwatchman asked us for money on several occasions, we tipped most of the staff but never gave him anything as it’s not good to ask. Sri Lanka is a lovely place and the Hotel we stayed in was amazing in every way , it’s just a shame that the area has been taken over by a lot of tourists from one county in particular 80-90% which is such a shame hardly anyone from the UK .

Absolutely nice environment. We were picked up at the airport by a hotel's cab(arranged earlier).and waited for us to arrive at midnight. Lovely and warming welcome from mr.jhon at the reception. All 3 nights we spent there and he was making sure we're getting everything as we need..really loved the hospitality we have received. All staff is extremely friendly. They play local cricket with kids.having remarkable evenings with joy. I would go there again for sure if I'm on vacation to south part of sri lanka.

Special thanks go to the masterchef who every day planned various and delicious meals for us, both in European and Sri Lankan versions, and to Mr. Ravi who helped us when we needed it. Huge applause to the general manager that he was able to gather such a wonderful and committed team in one place. His personal participation had a huge impact on our positive assessment of the organization of this event. The high standards of service we experienced will remain in our memory for a long time. We have heard extremely positive opinions from the participants of our trainings regarding both the facility and the service provided. If you are planning a holiday, business meetings, training or a conference in Sri Lanka, I highly recommend to stay at the Thaproban Pavilion Hotel. It is a beautiful and distinctive facility located in an unusual place. I am convinced that we will return soon during the next foreign training courses in this region of the world. The hotel is good and the service staff are very friendly. But don't come here to set a room with a lake view. In a small yard outside the hotel, there is no doorman who feels unsafe. The hotel's buffet dinner tastes good. The main building is the beach. There are fewer people than Merissa. There are some stray dogs on the beach.

The hotel is very clean and the environment is very good.
