It's a lovely hotel with great pools and beach area. There are (payable) water sports at the beach. We went parasailing for 40€ for the two of us, which we thought good value. Sun loungers and cushions are supplied free but it's nice to tip the guy if he brings cushions specifically for you. 1 or 2 tdn is enough. Regarding beach towels... leave a deposit of 10 tdn per towel with reception wherein they give you a token. This is exchanged at the animation booth for a towel. You can refresh your towel every morning after 9.30am. Before final departure, leave your towel with animation staff and ask for the token back. Then cash in the token at main reception. Works well. The resort staff are really nice. Not all spoke English but that wasn't a problem as we also speak French. We generally tipped the waiting staff 1 tdn each time they brought us drinks but it's not compulsory . We tipped our room maid 5€ on the first day and she was always very pleasant with us. We'd booked a standard room but it seemed very large. The air-conditioning worked well and there was a fridge. There was also a safe in the wardrobe which was great when leaving valuables in the room. The room was very clean but looking rather tired, like it needed renovating. But the bed was comfortable and it had blackout curtains on the glass doors which was useful to keep out the morning sun. Food...As is to be expected, it's mass catering and self service. The food is varied and plentiful. If you want to experience new foods you can. If you want pizza and chips every day that's also possible (sad but possible. Lol) There are fresh omelettes or fried eggs made to order in the mornings. There's also a traditional Tunisian restaurant which is waiter service and you are allowed to book once during the holiday. I honestly wouldn't bother. The food was average and the fish main course was awful. Totally overcooked and dry. The waiter was rushing us, obviously the chef wanted to pack up for the evening and just dumped the plates in front of us, without explaining what they were. There was no choice of menu other than fish or meat main course. I suffered from a poorly tummy but I can't say it was the food for sure. My husband was fine. When out and about everywhere accepted £ and € as well as Tdn so don't get too much foreign currency as you can't take it home and the airport exchange rate wasn't great. We got a taxi into Port El Kantouai for 6 Tdn each way (approx 2€) which was great value. There are various boat trips to chose from. We went on a Catamaran trip (The Albatross) which I'd highly recommend. Overall I'd say it was a great holiday, albeit not a four star hotel in our opinion. We wouldn't go there again as there are so many places to see, but good value for money and we had fun.

What a place. 4 pools 3 outside and one inside. Animation team are Excellent and work so hard to keep everyone happy. Great bunch of people although the 2 girls in the group made no attempt to speak to us the lovely bunch of young men did and made us feel really welcome. Reception staff were very helpful always on hand to help with any problem. Beach is just a short distance from the hotel past the quiet pool area. Cleaning staff. Maintenance and Gardner's all very nice and polite.Food is very nice and all credit to the chefs who provide. Italian, Tunisian, Mediteranian food and cater for all tastes. Tipping is very much part of the culture and we were happy to do.so.

My daughter and I stayed at Seabel Alhambra from 13th to 20th of May. We didn't arrive at the hotel until midnight. It was a smooth check in and the very nice man on reception arranged for us to have drinks and food and the porter carried our food and showed us our room. It was a huge room with a super king bed. The room and bathroom were very clean with a bath with shower over. Overall the food was very good with plenty of choice, loved the freshly made omelette and pancakes. Show cooking was great and a massive selection of desserts. All the waiters were very polite and helpful. The maids did a great job in keeping our room, bedding and towels spotlessly clean. Swimming pools were great and a big shout out to the lad getting our loungers and mattresses. The private beach was good too with plenty of water sports. I will leave the best till last though....... The animation team. What a fantastic bunch of young boys and girls. They got everyone involved and worked tirelessly to make sure we all enjoyed ourselves and the evening shows we're brilliant. Best holiday ever.

Really relaxing trip with friends. All of the staff have been very accommodating. The animation team were brilliant, making us feel welcome and keeping us entertained. The waiting staff can’t do enough to make the experience one to remember. Would 100% return.

I was genuinely quite worried about coming here due to some negative feedback, this was a last minute cheap getaway for a few days, I’m going to give you” MY “honest opinion about our weeks stay the positive s and the not so positive. I will start with the not so … Hotel is a little dated in parts and needs refreshed (let me hasten to add it was spotless clean) Rooms are quite basic (not a game changer as only slept in there) Beds are extremely hard ! That’s where the negativity stops Other than the couple gripes above the rest of the holiday was bloody fantastic for what was paid. We arrived really late 11.30pm checked in and the man behind the desk asked if we were hungry (we hadn’t eaten) he whisked us off to the closed restaurant and they had saved us some food What a lovely gesture ! There are 3 large Pools one which is lively and another which is classed as the quiet pool this is the pool we used every day never a problem getting a lounger as people weren’t up at the crack of dawn saving their preferred ones it just didn’t seem to happen here. There’s a bar at the quiet pool that serves the pool and the beach. The bar man was one of the nicest gentleman. What an asset to the hotel. Lovely man The buffet we loved the food there was always something that we throughly enjoyed. It’s a buffet not sure why people think it’s going to be boarder line laver hot it was all still completely palatable if you like it to burn the skin off your tongue there was a microwave you can use! Everyday there was a different meat on the hot cooking station which was always HOT! As long as you were prepared to wait just a couple of minutes (your on holiday there’s no rush!) Plenty of delicious salad and copious amounts of fresh fruit. Now to the desserts they were the best desserts I’ve ever had on a AI ! They waiters were all lovely in the buffet restaurant and we never had an empty glass the whole time, yes we did tip at the end of each evening meal (how ever small you tip it’s greatly received ) big shout out to khalifa he’s a wonderful person he looked after us most meal times and was our favourite ❤️ i personally found the food exceptional Every member of staff were always smiling and spoke to you even if it was just a good morning they all work extremely hard We were never approached and made to feel uncomfortable at any time by any staff members pushing for you to give a good reviews like I have read. We used the a la carte Tunisian restaurant (your allowed one visit per week but you must book this in the buffet restaurant with the shift manager) we loved it ! It was very good 👍 and nice to eat something different Would i return? Absolutely 💯!! Personally everyone is different and expect certain expectations- it certainly exceeded all of mine.

Lovely hotel, really nice and clean, great food great staff. For me the best feature of the hotel was the spa, its STUNNING! ask for Malek,(George Clooney lookalike) he will show you around the spa and make a bespoke package just for you, select the correct staff and make sure that it all runs like clockwork without feeling rushed, and please show your appreciation with a tip, salary's are very low in Tunisia and tips are essential. Cant wait to return.
