Iberostar Selection Diar El Andalous

Stayed for 12 days, in room 124. This hotel is beautiful the reception area and the pool and beach areas are well laid out and clean and the gardens are well tended , you often see them working hard to upkeep the flowers and trees, same with the cleaners of the main areas. The hammocks and beds are a nice touch. The staff of reception are very friendly and check in on you which I appreciate, we did have a slight issue with the room which they worked hard to correct ✅ Sadly the tv in the room isn’t great we had to get it fixed and even after this it kept being weird and had no access to Netflix which I previously had in another 4 star hotel, leaving us with access to only 4-5 English channels, not a huge problem as WiFi is great and only dropped once during my stay. The room Isn’t great itself you can hear absolutely everything in the other rooms and hallways , and the maintenance of the rooms isn’t great dodgy doors and lights and ac but the rooms were clean, spacious and pretty, and we had a lovely quite garden area outside our room, our cleaner did a great job she was kind and worked very hard and check in with us often . I would recommend locking the door if you want to sleep in though as cleaning does start early in the morning. The staff are the main perk most are very friendly and kind warm and work very hard. Special mention to yassin who works at the reception bar in the morning ( he makes the best coffee) and he will run round all day to get you absolutely anything and everything, fedi who works in the snack bar in the day very sweet and kind boy will always smile and laugh with you and saif and ossama and jalel who works in the night in the reception bar they joked with us laughed with us made us feel at home and refused to take any tips which was very sweet I can’t sing their praises more such good honest and kind people . I knew some of the staff from a previous visit to another hotel so was lovely to see them again and they honestly treated me like family. Animation team is good but didn’t really interact with us was maybe 3/4 days before we got a schedule for activities ect but they are kind and I did see them interact with the other tourists and their is a lot of varied activities to keep you busy, weekly beach parties , darts , mini golf , Zumba ext something for everyone. They aren’t as loud or pushy as I’ve seen in other hotels which I personally appreciate. The food!! The food is very good huge range of options and quality and it changes semi regularly so you’ll get to try a lot of different foods, Tunisian and western, Italian and bbq and even some Asian food like sushi and stir fry the sweet treats and cake selection was amazing every night without fail, the staff in the buffet restaurant are also very kind they talked with us nightly and did a cute table display for us a few times which was so cute special mention for becher from lunch and dinner service and anis who makes the chapati and pancakes his who t

The hotel is in a good location right on the beach and the pools and beach area are very well maintained and have plenty of sunbeds. The rooms are very noisy and you can hear the rooms both above and below quite clearly particularly in the bathroom as well as any passing noise through the corridors. All inclusive includes for all drinks which is good including cocktails and the staff in the bars and restaurants are all very friendly, as well as the front of house staff The buffet is where we were let down, chicken which was uncooked was being served one evening and not just slightly undercooked, it was raw, this was mixed in with tomato spaghetti so was not apparent to the eye as you walked around the Buffet and served yourself. We would have expected a lot better from a 5 star establishment, when we raised this the chef suggested some people liked it that was which seemed a bit strange…

We were so impressed with this hotel absolutely everything about our stay was perfect. We did move room on the first night but simply because we had a noisy family next door to us and we were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary so wanted peace and relaxation, the move to a lovely quiet room was smooth and no trouble to them. Our maid was simply lovely and cleaned our room to a very high standard everyday with some lovely decorative petals on our bed such a special touch, the food in the restaurant was delicious so much choice I can honestly say probably the best food in a hotel we have ever had, the chefs deserve high praise indeed. All the waiters, animation and bar staff were very attentive and friendly always. The beach is beautiful and pool areas had lots of space to relax. We would highly recommend this hotel and hope to return. Room 355 very peaceful. Many thanks to you all x

Nothing to fault ! From the location of the hotel to staff , food, drinks etc.. All the staff was amazing, everyone willing and happy to help there was nothing they would try to provide if you asked. To clean my room, I had Rawnda, and she was absolutely amazing. There are no words to describe the amazing person she is and the superb job she did every day whilst I was staying. The pool bar staff always had a smile on their faces and made sure everything was perfect. The restaurant simply WOW! Huge variety for different likes and tastes. Can only say that this was my first experience in an Iberostar hotel and in Tunisia and will be back and definitely recommend Iberostar Hotel in Port el Kantaoui. To all the staff at this hotel , once again, thank you for everything and all the best to you all.

Rooms are very tidy. Hotel is large and clean. Pool is also nice and large. Restaurant is good, lot of food choices. Cold drinks anytime. Animation program is great. We mostly enjoyed aqua gym with animator Rico. Sunbeds are always available.

I have to say I had the best experience. The entertainment was great and accommodated for everyone. The food catered for all . The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained . The manager was outstanding as he was involved with everything and made us feel so special . The cleaning by Layla was so great and I could not fault the effort put in and felt safe ro leave my belongings. However. the people apart from the hotel manager that stood out the most was Fifi and Eva, I have never met a team so dedicated to entertaining the crowd and very inclusive of everyone. The team even encouraged me to sing karoke and get back my own confidence in performing. I will definitely be coming back here. Savannah
