very nice trip, surrounded by peacocks, antelops, angola chickens; we also spent some time around the other 2 Anantara hotels on the island

We stayed at this property for a night with our family and had a fun-filled experience. We enjoyed it a lot. Everything went smoothly without any issues, and the staff were very well-organized and cooperative. We will surely visit the property again.

This hotel and island was one of our best experiences ever! Everything: location, food, activities, spa and the whole team was great! We spent 4 days (3 nights) on island - felt like we travelled some exotic secret place, we really had a chance to relax and this days felt like one week vacation. The fact that on this island can’t be more then 300 guests at the same time makes you feel unique and very VIP. We lived in Al Sahel villas and we liked that we chose them, because animals (gazels, peacocks etc) were all around us all the time! We tried two restaurants, Italian and African, both are delicious, but African one really surprised us - you need to try slow cooked meat, steaks and great African red wine. Talking about activities - we had safari, natural walk and kayaking - if you have a chance, try all of them! Spa is also amazing - we tried massage in couple room. There are three variant of stays on island - as a guest you can use facilities all of them. And the last but not the least it amazing careful team and the service they provide - special thanks to George and Dennis, Francief (chef from African restaurant), Lok (safari guide), Gamra (waiter), Deshan (from the beach team) and Sabu (driver). For sure we will come back!

The location is excellent but the hotel should provide free shuttle services to view the nature instead of providing packages with expensive rates. The breakfast is with very minimal items should have been provided with various selections.
