I spent one night here as part of a two-day excursion, spending two days with an Amazigh (Berber) weaver in the village, and day hikes with Ouikia Tours & Activities, arranged through Morocco Desert Trips. The staff was most gracious and helpful, and the lunch tagine and dinner coucous were filling and delicious. The gite has two really beautiful terraces that look out on the village and the mountains, and are a great place to hang out. While the days were mild, the night was chilly. The extra heavy blanket in the room was put to good use. There is plenty of information on the walls of the common area about the wildlife, geography and the geology of the area, including maps of popular trekking routes. The gite serves as a lunch stop and hub for travelers in the High Atlas. They also sell locally produced jams and honey: sales benefit the local women's cooperative.
