Oxygen Lodge Agafay

The "resort/camp" is photographed as being small and intimate (they are currently adding at least 5/6 new "tents") but there are 70+ sun loungers around the most stunning pool and seating in the restaurant for a similar amount of visitors ???? as a result that intimacy is slightly lost as it feels empty and lacks any real atmosphere sadly which was ultimately what we were looking for. Its very quiet and very beautiful with OK service and perfectly acceptable simple food but its also fairly basic all round with lack of finishing touches and detail and certainly not the 5* experience we were expecting compared with other similar camps in Agafay. The fire and entertainments was good and ultimately it was still a unique experience in the desert.

On our last day of our trip to Morocco we decided to stay over night in the Agafay Desert. We couldn’t have been more happier with our choice in Oxygen Lodges. The lodges themselves were amazing ! Spacious , beautifully decorated and peaceful in the middle of the desert. It was an absolute treat to swim in the pool over looking the desert and eat delicious food at their lovely restaurant. We even got to enjoy live musicians with our dinner which was really special. Their is options to book lots of wonderful activities as well but we just decided to enjoy some relaxation for our time there. We can’t thank the wonderful staff enough for making our stay so enjoyable.

Beautiful setting - exactly as photos. Rooms spacious and luxurious. Great A/C / heating. Wifi so strong!! Food and drinks were superb. Nightime entertainment really magical & special. The road leading to the Lodge is extremely bumpy & uncomfortable to travel along - and this takes approx. 20 min.

We spent a night in this lodge with some friends. Our experience was very positive: the accommodations are excellent, service was very friendly and the food was great. Dinner was particularly good with various local dishes. The place is nice facing the desert.

This place far exceeded my expectations … and more! Let me start off by saying that while this isn’t the Sahara the location is breathtaking. Everywhere you look is picture perfect! The tents are exquisitely designed, bigger than all of the rooms we have stayed in and also spotlessly clean. The food was excellent, as were the drinks, and it is by far the best service we have had in Morocco thus far (we’ve been here for three weeks staying at four and five star hotels) The staff have been so attentive and helpful. I cannot speak of this place highly enough and will be recommending to all of our friends and family!!

We loved our time here! What an amazing camp. The staff were so helpful and kind and the food was good. The tents were very comfortable and the views were out of this world. We had a great time on camels and buggies. Would highly recommend for all ages.

This place was an expensive treat for a family of 4 in one of the larger rooms but it was worth it. Felt like real luxury and noticed lots of details and amazing service to make it feel like a 5 star plus experience. The staff are so friendly and professional. Our room was huge and very comfortable. The pool is stunning and sunbeds comfortable. If I was really fussy I would say that the food was a little average but perfectly acceptable for one night. Might get a bit boring if staying longer. The views are incredible, try to get up for sunrise! We enjoyed our camel ride but found the quad bikes a bit noisy and rough but that might be our age. Overall a very relaxing and peaceful 24 hours at oxygen lodge. Would recommend.

Absolutely stunning - so glad I did my research! A simply wonderful place to stay in Agafay. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The facilities beautiful. Everything was perfection. We saw a number of other tented camps when passing on a buggy tour and also camels and the one seemed the best!

This place is incredible. Not only is in peaceful and visually beautiful, attention to detail and the helpfulness of the staff are what helps make it the perfect place to stay. From the minute we arrived, the staff couldn’t do enough for you. They offered pool service for food and drinks and even brought stuff to your room to save you walking to get it. The lodges are comfortable and the food was the best we had whilst in Morocco. This is most definitely one of my favourite places I have visited. Whatever you do, don’t miss the sunrise! Thank you all for looking after us so well and helping us unwind and relax. We felt like we had been away for a month!
