Hotel Riva

The nice hotel to stay in Alassio. Good location in a quiet place and at the same time it is near the beach, shops and restaurants. Very friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere of the hotel is relaxing and vacation. Cleaning was perfect. And we really enjoyed the breakfast time.

Great little stop over hotel with a very nice breakfast and excellent fresh coffee

Nice well located hotel and friendly helpful staff. The breakfasts were great and nice to have the option of fresh coffee. The possibility to borrow/ rent bikes was an added bonus. Good size rooms and although the bathrooms could do with an update they are clean and the showers work well. The hotel represents overall value for money

This hotel is very basic for the price. Our room was a jauntily painted prison cell, parking is a complete nightmare, breakfast was ok. On the upside the staff are very nice and the hotel was quite clean. In my opinion it’s an expensive two star hotel.

Very clean and modern rooms, nice service, polite personnel. Nice and quick service. The hotel is situated near the sea. Good breakfast and coffee included. Great hotel if you want to spend the weekend with your family or sweetheart . Highly recommend

A bit of inexperienced personal, but really friendly. Great breakfast.. The fridge inside the room was way too noisy. Good position.

We spent ten days at this hotel. Here's what we liked and did not like: Positive: friendly staff, the bed was quite comfortable, good water pressure in the shower, balcony, a small fridge in the room, free bicycles to explore Alassio, good breakfast, friendly staff (at least most of the staff; the man in the breakfast room seemed annoyed all the time). Negative: no parking (we had to search for a parking slot for more than one hour until we found one a 15 minutes walk away from the hotel), either slow wifi connection (see picture from speed test) or no connection at all in our room, shower was too small, only very few clothes hangers in the wardrobe, no clothes hook in the room, no cup for toothbrush, we heard every noise from other guests close to our room, not very clean. Overall, the hotel wasn't bad but we were disappointed with the room; certainly no 4-star standard. Good to know: The hotel does not have a beach section. Therefore you will have to pay a high extra fee for sunloungers. There is a public/free beach section about 300 metres away from the hotel but it's very small and quite dirty. We absolutely hate the trend in Italy that private companies or hotels own beach sections and make a lot of money out of it. Every beach/town should have a big public beach section open to everyone!

La peggiore esperienza della mia vita. Prenoto l’hotel su Booking alle ore 21 poiché in autostrada ci sono km di coda e decidiamo di interrompere il nostro viaggio. La reception chiude alle ore 23 e arrivando alle ore 23.05 troviamo l’entrata chiusa, dopo aver telefonato aspettiamo 30 min prima che arrivino ad accoglierci 2 ragazzi. Gentilmente chiediamo se possiamo lasciare l’auto nello spazio riservato all’hotel davanti all’entrata, non autorizzano nessuno solo i fornitori. Non ci sono posti liberi nelle vie limitrofe all’hotel dobbiamo andare a parcheggiare l’auto sportiva e nuova sul lungomare. Specifichiamo che alle ore 8 l’avremmo spostata perché alle ore 9 andremo via. Irremovibili. Domenica mattina l’ascensore è rotto! Chiedo se possono aiutarmi a portare le borse poiché l’ascensore non funziona e mio marito é andato a prendere l’auto, non arriva nessuno ma nel frattempo ritorna mio marito scendiamo dalle scale con i nostri bagagli a mano. 9 ore di mancanza di gentilezza e servizi.
