Defo not a 5 star hotel-very dated and all mouldy seal round bath. All inclusive food not great. We had to leave a credit card copy at check in and told we wouldn’t be charged- but we were charged £100 after getting home so had to ring trip.com to sort it

Super entertainment… with good interaction between public. Never a dull moment He captures the spirit of art and entertainment 100 pct Accompanied by a lovely assistant that does her own tricks as well Time flies looking at the show… Only the soundsystem needs an upgrade!

The hotel is outstanding. Beautiful apar**ent. The staff are amazing. You can eat at several speciality restaurants if you are all inclusive...recommended! A big thank you to Marcio and Amdreia, who looked after us at the bar. Andrea, special thank you for the lovely G&T xxx

We just got back from our 5 night short break yesterday. Is the hotel a 5 star? Not by British standards but I would say it is similar to many 4 stars that we have stayed in around the world. Now that’s out of the way, for our review: The good - the room was clean & had everything we needed and more. The cleaning staff were lovely and always smiling. The pool entertainment was a good laugh even just to watch & the 4 entertainers were great. The pool bar tender Christiano (sorry if spelt wrong) was friendly & remembered us each day. The sauna was heavenly after a workout at the gym which although small does have everything you need. The lady on the spa reception whose name I didn’t catch was friendly and always said hi. The main reception staff were helpful & friendly. We went to the Piccadilly bar most nights and the entertainment was great (make sure you catch the sax player he was amazing, reminded me of an Ibiza one!) Vinicius (again probably spelt wrong so my apologies) was by far the best bartender we have come across in our travels. He truly is this hotels biggest asset in our opinion as he remembered us after our first order & had great banter while serving. Everyone we spoke to said similar remarks about him which speaks extremely highly to please so many people. As we had a night flight coming & going we missed the dinner session but they let us have dinner the day we left even after checkout which isn’t always a guarantee we have found so we were very happy about that. The bad - not even bad really but maybe some things (nit-picking really) which we thought we should mention so could possibly be fixed to make this a 5 star :) The pool itself had a few loose tiles towards the waterfall part, the spa needs some updates as it’s a bit dated and finally the bar needs more seating & the plants can block your view of the stage. All of these didn’t cause any issues but as above fixing this could mean the resort is a 5 star. For visitors bear in mind there’s a refundable 100 euro deposit, they refund it when you check out so this just something to bear in mind. Also not all drinks are part of the all inclusive but they had their version of most spirits and the lager was great! From both of us we want to say thank you to the staff for making our holiday so memorable and for going above & beyond.

We arrived 1st may 2024 approx 1400 hrs nice greeting but room wasn't available until 1500 so went for a sit at the pool which was v quiet anyway room was spacious clean and all we required with a fourth floor view of the pool for the first few days the hotel was v quiet but got busier as the days went on The restaurant was not too big and plenty of beverages and the food average at best for a four star we expected better different theme every night but not a great choice of maybe four different meats and vegetables etc which were kept warm in water baths my wife who loves fish was very disappointed in the choice and quality of the fish dishes Also the food was at times cold and dry and not what we expect from such a chain of hotels the Italian restaurant and bbq grill as advertised was closed the whole of the time we were there The Piccadilly bar was small and quiet but great friendly staff served up a small choice of beers and cocktails which closed at 2300 hrs My review now also observed the hotel advertised that it's close to the beach which it is but down a very very steep hill not the best for elderly or handicapped we got ripped off by a tuktuk rickshaw back up but at least we didn't have to climb back up that hill It's also says a short walk into the old town but near on thirty minutes and not the most level of roads and paths once again not the best for the elderly or handicapped and definitely get a taxi back approx 5euros Last dislike was you have to put up a 100 Euro deposit on arrival

We saw the lovely couple who sang opera tonight, Daniel and Diane, well worth the watch . Charming and captivating, they sang beautifully and danced to boot. Def come see these 2 again .probably best thing about hotel??Buffet is quite a shock for 3star??? Drinks limited and asked to take glass back to replenish drinks, i would avoid

We have gone as a group of 8 for a football trip away and suyin and dayana were the animation team to do the activities in the hotel during the day, they have been amazing and really happy and really welcoming. They have made the holiday so much more enjoyable and made every activity really fun. I would recommend anyone to do the activities with them as they would really enjoy it.
