We stayed recently at the hotel Helios Costa Tropical in Alumñécar, Almeria, Spain. We had a great time really friendly people, great choice of food for breakfast and dinner, the staff in the restaurant and kitchen staff were so nice and helpful, the two who stood out for us was Antonio and Diana who were so helpful in all respects and a credit to the hotel. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you are in the area. Jean Powell

My husband and I really enjoyed our 1 week stay. The breakfast and dinner were great value and of great variety and quality. Pool area is small so we spent our time on the beach just across the road. Unfortuneatly the much advertised roof top Blue Bar was not open and the spa was not open either !!. We look forward to returning .

Beautiful hotel and it was spotlessly clean. In a great location with plenty to do in walking distance. All the staff were very friendly and nothing was a problem to them. The pool area was clean and tidy and not too big considering it has 3 different pools and a hot tub. The restaurant was lovely again very clean and the staff were amazing. Very friendly and quick service. The food was delicious and a good choice every day. The bar staff were very welcoming and always had a smile on their faces even when they were really busy. The cocktails were also delicious. We also did yoga on the Tuesday morning which was lovely to do and a nice way to relax before hitting the pool with a little one.

Wrote an excellent review after two week stay in June 2023, pleased to find the high standards of service, food and cleanliness remain on our 12 day stay in may 2024. Found most people were on their 3rd, 4th and 5th visit,(one lady was on her 19th). All staff staff are so pleased to help even with the most sippliest request and with an added smile. Including Antonio who welcomes guests into the restaurant and deals with specific requests. Also waitress Stephanie always there to give us a big welcome. Every thing about the hotel suited our needs, with so many sun bahting beds all along the pool areas up and beyond the jacucci tubs, with the cosy beach beds across the quiet road. The local bus stop right outside, just one Euro. The bar prices lower than most hotels, just 12 Euro for he highest price red wine in the restaurant. I could go on, all this is the reason we have booked again for two weeks in October this year, through SAGA.
