Konstantina Studios

Αυτές οι διακοπές ξεπέρασαν κατά πολύ τις αρχικές μου προσδοκίες και επιθυμίες. Τα Konstantina Studios έκαναν αυτές τις διακοπές παρά πολύ. Η Κωνσταντίνα είναι ένας υπέροχος οικοδεσπότης. Η φιλοξενία της είναι πάνω και πέρα¹. Τα δωμάτια είναι κορυφαία. Το πρωινό είναι υπέροχο. Ας μην ξεχνάμε τη θέα. Η διαμονή μου στην Κωνσταντίνα ήταν καταπληκτική. Πηγαίνω πίσω.

We were collected from the port by our host and taken to the accommodation, where were reminded that we were self catering and there would be no option to take breakfast - contrary to what was stated by Jet2 holidays upon booking. We had booked a standard studio as this was the only option available upon booking, although there was only ever one other studio occupied through out our stay. The studio was tiny, more of a bedroom with a fridge and two ring hob squeezed in with nowhere to sit other than on the bed. We were told the main light in the bathroom was not working and could/would not be fixed for the duration of our stay (7days), there was a dim wall light in there but with no window either this was not ideal for shaving etc. We were also told that the room would not be services for two day as the person who normally did this had gone away to a wedding, not ideal when in a country where toilet paper can not be flushed and must be placed in a bid, if spare bin liners had been left we would have disposed of the rubbish ourselves. The only other time we saw our host was when she came to collect us for departure, she asked about our stay and we mentioned the couple of issues to which she responded 'well I just cross myself every day and be thankful & grateful for what I have' Good ethos for life, but would question if this ethos should be applied to running a business.

Very well equipped studios with amazing panoramic views across the sea to neighbouring islands. Konstantina gives a comprehensive briefing on local facilities, walks, beaches and tavernas. She is an excellent host who really wants you to get the most from the island. Rooms are spacious and light. Shower powerful. Beds very comfortable. Situated centrally for the village, overlooking a peaceful valley where we saw bee-eaters and yellow orioles after heavy rain. A perfect spot.

Thank you Konstantina and Jet2. You conspired to give us a great time. The arrangements were faultless and the accommodation was perfect. We just sat back and relaxed and took in the views from our terrace/balcony. You are nestled into the heart of the village and soon feel like a local. As a Jet2 booking we self catered, and we did arrange some simple meals when we had days when we preferred not to go to dinner. Fresh fruit & veg and bread from the bakery, and the nice little finishing items are available from the village stores and bakery. There is a path leading directly up to the bustle of the village at or near the top. We used the large village car park for our rental which we arranged the day after we arrived. You can visit practically all beaches within half an hour, so no hardship in getting around. We used the bus from the village up and down to Petitiri a number of times which leaves frequently. Lovely restaurants, bars and cafes both in the village and in Patitiri. If you prefer not to drive, there are beach trips every day. We enjoyed our room and the perfect facilities. The overhead shower is a delight, and all toiletries were provided. You can relax inside your room with french doors to the balcony open or closed. Enjoy the Aircon or sit outside at the table in a comfy directors chair and watch the boats sail by, and view the islets in the distance. You can see over to Evia on clear days. In short you are spoiled at Konstantina Studios and Konstantina is always at hand. You can even book breakfast while there if you prefer. Just turn up and enjoy a superior experience here, you will be pleased you did. Thanks Konstantina and Jet2.

Spotlessly clean studio apartment with outstanding sea views. It's in a quiet position in the old town just a few minutes walk to restaurants, a supermarket and a bakery. Konstantina is extremely helpful with information of the island and she also helped us with car hire which was very reasonable. For us car hire was a must to see the whole island, favourite beaches ( most pebbly so sea shoes needed) were aghios dimitrios 8€for sunbeds or free if you walk to the left. Votsi was very quiet so took water,lunch in coolbag.. tsoukalia was the same with lovely breeze. Megali mourtias beach was fab with comfy sunbeds for 6€, eat at the wonderful meltemi restaurant and the sunbeds are free. We also went on a boat trip to the marine park and monastery with a lovely lunch on board with drinks inc wine, you can book this at the port which is great to sit and watch the world go by. If you like to walk or just relax konstantinas is for you, our room was serviced every day by the beautiful arianna..thankyou so much and huge thankyou to konstantina for you're greek hospitality. Our package was with jet2 holidays, very good and efficient.

Having never stayed on this island before we found it is most delightful. The Konstantina studios are faultless, cleanliness is second to none, hospitality was great and the view from our room was amazing. We would most definitely return.

Absolutely delighted with our choice. We travelled with a Jet2 package. We had debated whether to stay in the port of Patitiri or up on the hill in the old village. Our choice was the old village in Konstantina's beautiful boutique studios. So pleased we made this choice. Konstantina met us at the port and drove us up the hill to her studios. She shared lots of useful information along the way. On arrival, we were upgraded to a bigger studio. Konstantina kindly prepared a hospitality welcome pack, which was much appreciated after a long day of travelling. Our studio was just as we had seen in the photos. Contemporary styling. Beautiful handpainted floral artwork on one wall. Great ensuite with lovely tiles and a waterfall shower. The kitchette was pretty well equipped. It allowed us to prepare simple meals; anything more would have been a struggle. However, within a 5 min stroll, we were in the old village, which has very many options for dining out. All of the studios have a balcony with amazing views out to sea. Each has a table and directors chairs. On our floor (ground/first), we also had a double hammock. There is a lovely garden area with tables and chairs for your use. This is also where the terrace is, should you arrange to have breakfast freshly prepared for you by Konstantina. The property is extremely well maintained and very clean. Being in the old village, everything is built to accommodate the elevations of the terrain. There are many slopes and steps within the accommodation and in the old village. If you enjoy walking, this is a great place. You can trek the tracks from the village to get to some magnificent viewpoints. You can walk down and up(!) the old donkey track between the village and the port. Or take the bus for an easy option. The walk down and up to the nearest beach (Megalos Mourtias) is a challenge. But the beach is beautiful. Good for swimming and snorkelling. It has 2 lovely tavernas serving food and drinks all day and evenings. Konstantina's studios were a great choice for us. Would certainly return and highly recommend. My parents and I stayed there for 2 nights. The hostess (Konstantina) welcomed us at the port and even arranged a car rental for us, which was very helpful. She upgraded our stay to the family apartment with 2 separate bedrooms and bathrooms. All the rooms are beautifully decorated and furnished with great attention to detail. The apartment was really clean and offered amazing sea view from its balcony. The studios are within walking distance from the old village (Chora). The breakfast was served in a quiet balcony. I will recommend this to anyone seeking a quality stay and wishing to experience the local hospitality.
