I am VERY POSITIVE that I booked a non-smoking room via *******. When I arrived, I was told that I booked a smoking room. However, there were three other guests there at the exact same time as me that had the same issue. I wondered if it were possible that ALL FOUR of us had made the same error via *******. The next morning when I went to check-out, I learned that it just so happened all of the non-smoking rooms had been booked and all they had were smoking rooms. To me, that feels a little coincidental. Also, was told by the night-time desk clerk that they would be able to hold my luggage for me after check-out in the morning so that I could do some shopping before returning to get my things and head to the airport. But in the morning, the daytime desk clerk told me they don't do that. The room and bathroom WERE indeed clean but the smell of smoke was quite overwhelming and despite doing what I could (spraying Febreeze on the curtains, bedding and around the air, my clothing still came away smelling like stale smoke the next morning.
Also, you should know that even after booking at a good price via *******, the hotel itself charges a $50 deposit that is non-refundable if you check out after 11AM; thus requiring you to go to the front desk in person and officially check out by 11AM in order to receive your money back. I was able to do so, however, it is highly inconvenient and WAS a surprise to me. Thankfully, I had my debit card with me with plenty of funds available.
