Sentrim Amboseli Lodge

I went to Sentrim with my two sisters in september 2024. They came to visit me and we had an incredible stay in Sentrim Amboseli! The staff has been AMAZING with us. Everyone from reception to the restaurant was more than helpful. I can say that Sentrim has BY FAR the best staff in Kenya so far. Special thanks to Purity, Szais and all the staff that were there from september 23th to 25th. The bed were comfortable and the food great. I will definitely recommend the hotel to all my folks coming to Kenya!

This accommodation was absolutely incredible, so comfortable and gorgeously laid out. The rooms were cosy, clean and big, with lovely bedding, comfy bed and good electricity provisions. Mozzie nets are provided. Unlimited bottled water and the food buffets were outstanding. The service of all staff was exceptional and friendly. One of the evenings, my trip manager had organised a cake & decoration of room for a couple in our group celebrating their 2nd anniversary and it was incredibly done, the presentation of the cake was like a proper show and joyful. The decoration of their room was gorgeous. So impressed with this camp.

Sentrim is a perfect for visiting the park. Special thanks to Lenin for taking good care of us. The team was awesome, they where helpful, funny and entertaining. We would also thank John Peter Alexander and Lavina. You where all awesome!!!!

Everything about the lodge was cool ! Everybody was friendly, kind, thoughtful, warm, joyful. We ate well, various dishes. And the atmosphere was very pleasant. Our room, nice and immersive-camp-designed, was always cleaned each time we came back from safari or whatever. Highly recommend, they are surely the best !

We stayed here for a couple of nights, and we loved it. It is right next to the Amboseli National Park and a quick drive to enter in. The staff members were fantastic and extremely friendly and fun to talk to. The dining area was a buffet style and always had excellent choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food tasted great. They have a nice little gift store where we were able to pick up a few nice souvenirs. The rooms did seem a little bit dark, but the accommodations were above satisfactory. We would like to return back again someday and enjoy it more there. Highly recommend it.

I absolutely loved my stay at Sentrim Amboseli. I spent 2 nights here as part of a group tour and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Firstly - the location is fantastic, with views of Kilmanjaro on the approach and from the viewpoint. The skies were so dark I saw the milky way properly for the first time and the camp is only a few miles from the entrance to Amboseli NP gate. The site is large and I believe from a chat with one of the staff members that it is a "crossing point" for a number of locations across Kenya/Tanzania. However, it still felt personal, spacious and provided a sense of adventure! The accommodation itself was comfortable, with everything you could possibly need and plenty of space. The restaurant was as will all Sentrim places we visited, well laid out, clean and well decorated, with excellent food and fantastic staff. Massive shout out to Reuben who has, as a member of our group quite rightly described, "the biggest smile in Kenya". The bar was also very comfortable and again, staff fantastic. The teams had a campfire going both nights that we were there and a member of staff waiting for us to accompany us to our tents once we were ready to retire for the evening. The pool was a good size and very refreshing after a hot day on safari. Lots of wildlife was around with birds by the restaurant, monkeys, mongoose and guinea fowl, which just made the camp all the more interesting. Even on the drive up we saw elephants and giraffe! I would absolutely recommend Sentrim Amboseli - it is an ideal location for visiting the NP with such warm and friendly staff.
