horrible service: i was at the airport and my flight was cancelled one hour before the departure time with no other flights leaving for over 24 hours. i called the riviera motel specifically asking for a credit to stay at a later date, NOT a refund. the owner continually shouted “no refunds” at me because my booking was non refundable as of two days prior. well, my flight was not cancelled two days ago and now i have no way to get there. he said something that i couldn’t understand, so i asked him to repeat himself and he hung up on me. i called him back a second time and told him how unprofessional it was that he hung up on me, and he interrupted me several times to tell me that my booking is non refundable. i told him that i will be cancelling all future bookings at this hotel and taking my business elsewhere, and he hung up on me again. this would have been my 3rd stay at the riviera motel this year, and i had another booking planned later in september. he did not offer to work with me and my situation at all. if this is how a repeat customer is treated at this motel, i will be taking my business to literally any other hotel on the block and advise you to do the same.
