Rental basis: Entire house or apartment Number of bedrooms: 2; Number of other rooms with beds: 0 Chalet Gabys living room and kitchenette (with a dishwasher and combi microwave), are offering beautiful views at the harbour and the Lauwerslake and are connected to the terrace and garden from which it’s only a couple of steps to your private fishing deck. Chalet ‘gaby’ (with a living space of approx. 60 M²) has two bedrooms. One of the two bedrooms has a 1.40 x 2 m queen bed with a one-piece mattress. The second one has 2 single beds. There is a bathroom with toilet and shower. (Outdoor area:) On the terrace you can enjoy the views from your garden chairs and from the fishing deck you can plunge into the water, use one of the two canoes that belong to the house to explore the national park or (obviously) go fishing. The garden also has its own sauna-area with a (2 person) infrared sauna and a bbq is available. The chalet has its own parking space in front of the house. (Distinctive features:) The internet and sauna are free of charge in ‘gaby’, There’s tv and baby cot and high chair are available on request. Dogs are welcome. (Surrounding area:) Oostmahorn is an old stronghold at the at the western side of the Lauwerslake with a rich history, dating back to the sixteenth century. Nowadays it’s a very pleasant tourist destination at the National Park Lauwersmeer, hosting several holiday resorts. The lake itself and the direct surroundings are a true paradise for nature lovers, fisherman, water sports enthusiasts, cyclists and hikers. Dogs are more than welcome here as well. There’s a special beach and a forest for them at Lauwersoog. Within a couple of hundreds of meters there are several playgrounds for children. At the beach, in the small resort ‘de Skâns’ and in Esonstad - which is a holiday resort build as a replica of a typical old Frysian city. In Esonstad you’ll even find a bouncy castle and an indoor playing hall and one can play golf and foot golf here at the local Pitch & Putt area. Renting a
