A spectacular setting. Staff are delightful and could not be more helpful. Last night Ishmael was really interesting about Berber history as well as being an excellent waiter. Hamid (I hope I have remembered his name correctly) has been especially helpful with breakfast that we like to have sitting in the sun on the terrace of our Berber tent. The mini bar is well stocked, wine, beer and sodas and is included in the price. Spirits are not included in the mini bar, but are available from room service. Downside of our Berber tent: the wall separating the bathroom and sleeping area does not go up to the ceiling, therefore, bathroom pongs can be shared! There is a step up from seating area to sleeping and bathroom areas, tricky to manoeuvre a mid night wee, without disturbing a sleeping partner!! One of the things that attracted us to Tamadot was the small size and the fact that the staff are local Berbers. The site is being developed and we understand that means that they will be getting staff from outside the area. Shame! True luxury is privacy and quiet. Food is good and aimed at the European palate as well as Moroccan tagines etc. The dining room is in a HUGE Berber style tent with fires at each end, and can be chilly, we are here in October. despite the patio type heaters. Bring a jumper! A great experience. Thank you! PS. A lot longer to Marrakech than
