Palazzo del Senatore

A wonderful stay at this gem of a hotel. It is a great location, a beautiful building, with comfortable well-appointed rooms, personal service, and a warm welcome. One caution: there are few if any restaurants open on Sundays in Attina- but a local "pub" in the Square provided great pizza!

Came to visit my ancestral home of Settefrati . Found this hotel via the Internet. It is a beautiful place. Very clean and modern although it’s very old. The hotel owners were very gracious and helpful. They fix all our problems and answered all our questions. we had the suite as a room. Very spacious and beautiful. Highly recommend.

This was our third stay at Palazzo del Senatore. The rooms are very spacious, the bathroom has a strong shower head and the bed is very comfortable. The air conditioner worked very well and kept the room nice and cool during our 3 day summertime visit. The views from the room and breakfast patio are stunning and the owners Daniele and Alessandra are very gracious hosts who pay close attention to detail. 5 stars all the way!

A centuries old palazzo lovingly restored with modern conveniences while retaining beauty and charm of the original architecture. The owners Daniele and Alessandra are wonderful professional hosts who truly care about providing a memorable experience. The rooms are large clean and comfortable, and elegantly designed. Wonderful views from the terrace. Definitely recommend!

My visit to Atina and to the fantastic Palazzo Del Senatore was one of the best hotels in Italy, on a long trip driving south from Liguria. In fact, when I got into bed I thought this: "Finally a hotelier in Italy who understands the importance of a great mattress." it wasn't the old style hard kind usually found in hotels, but supportive, cloud-like and so comfortable. I looked out at the mountains and was so happy I found such a gorgeous hotel. The owners are the nices,t warmest, most hospitable people and treated me and all guests so wonderfully. The terraces, the setting, the rooms, the sophisticated yet relaxing vibe....go to Atina and stay here; It's all very special.

Credo che il pregio fondamentale di un hotel e in particolare del suo staff sia quello di accoglierti facendoti sentire a casa, magari dopo una giornata estenuante e una stanchezza accumulata da ritmi di lavoro assai pesanti. È invece divenuto comune trattare tutti allo stesso modo, ossia come ospiti, confondendo il tipo di cliente che si ha davanti o addirittura omologandolo ad una idea generica. In questo luogo il proprietario è il principale problema che abbiamo riscontrato: alla reception una lunga spiegazione sul codice da inserire all’ingresso e su una serie di dettagli secondari copre la vera falla della nostra giornata, ossia la mancanza di una camera prenotata per il nostro gruppo. Con fare da imbonitore poco propenso al sorriso il proprietario decanta una suite con due camere perfettamente divise e a noi dedicate. Ovviamente capiamo immediatamente che il bagno è in comune e altrettanto velocemente scopriamo, una volta entrati, che le due camere sono un ingresso con divano letto e una camera matrimoniale. Sorvolerei sul concetto di suite e sorvolerei su quello che può essere un errore in buona fede, ma invece non lo farò per una semplice ragione: le scuse per un possibile equivoco non sono mai arrivate, e questo pesa più di tutto. Evidentemente non incarniamo la tipologia di clientela che può apprezzare questa modalità e questo tipo di offerta.
