We stayed a night before a trip and overnight on Tiritiri Matangi. Even before we arrived we felt valued customers as we were call to confirm arrival details. Beautiful room (upgraded from our original booking), spotlessly clean room with many thoughtful touches that went the ‘extra mile’. Owner went out of their way to get us access to plug in our EV (ICE car parked in EV park ☹️). Owner’s also gave us ideas for morning walk and the wonder coffee cart at little Manly from 6am.

When it comes to customer service, you will not find a better place than the Whangaparaoa Lodge. They do the little things exceptionally well, things like helping you with your bags after a long day, making sure everything worked, especially the spa. They even offered some directions for the day ahead, which were very special. Thank you for a great experience Glen and Sandi.

Our first overnight on the journey north from Auckland turned out to be a good choice. Immaculately maintained well appointed comfortable room with friendly host. Just what you need. We sampled the breakfasts too which were delivered to our room bang on time and were excellent. There are places within walking distance for evening meals - such as Due Amici ten minutes away.

This is a very well kept place. We enjoyed our stay in our spacious room, number 14. It has a balcony where we enjoyed our breakfast, and the view of the sunrises. You should have a car if you stay here however we enjoyed walking to Manly where we would often get takeout and bring it back to eat on our balcony. Very nice hot shower with good pressure and very nice toiletries. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable. The hosts are lovely. We ordered the breakfast package and they would deliver it to us personally every morning with a smile. They were on hand with tips of things to do. We stayed three nights and kept busy. Our favorite activity was the bioluminescence kayak tour. I really appreciated the hotel’s attention to detail to sanitize and clean. Everything was pristine. Would highly recommend this property.

We felt very welcomed by Sandy and Glen. They were genuinely friendly, caring, and helpful from recommending restaurants to which local nature areas to visit. We were so impressed by our room. The bed was very comfortable, the linens were nice, and the furnishings and décor were very well thought out. Breakfast was great! They upgraded us to a room with a nice broad balcony in front, which gave us a lovely view of the ocean. We can't wait to return for another stay and explore the area some more.

What a find! The location is idyllic right by my favorite beach on the Hibiscus Coast, Little Manly Beach. The rooms were spotlessly clean and have a host of amenities to make out stay just perfect. A friendly team will greet you and look after you throughout your stay, this place is a little gem!!
