Arrived at 2pm, told by owner he'd turned off water due to a leak & was trying to get plumber to come out to fix. We were allowed to check in to rooms 2 & 5. 1st impression was how outdated the room was, 2nd was how much the room smelt which had permiated the bath towels they'd left out to use. We left rooms to visit Lighthouse & on 5pm return was told by a plumber he'd replaced pipe but we could use taps till 7pm so repair would set. He filled our kettles for drinks. Although no milk provided with complimentary tea/coffee. Went for dinner & when we returned to room went straight to bed as very long day. Next morning, check out day, told by Mum that no hot water. Turns out the owner had used all the hot water when they had to wash the linens they couldn't the night before. 4 rooms being vacated that morning, why could they not have waited? No flannel, soap or shampoo which seeing as the towels stank so much was probably a blessing. No lock on inside of door apart from chain so I had to put chair under door & pull door mat up. Patio out back of our rooms was so overgrown it was too dark to sit out. Chairs outside rooms were filthy. Bed rock hard. Bucket under toilet cistern in room 5 to catch a leak. Wifi intermittent (password on sticker on TV) Have nothing good to say about this motel & hope people read reviews before booking so not disappointed like we were. Oh and the whole town closed at 8pm Sunday night, including petrol station so was a ghost town.

Extremely tight limited parking. Very clean Spacious room with queen bed, good mattress & pillows, sofa, armchair, table & chairs, gas cooking stove, microwave, fridge. Large smart tv, ironing board, iron, tea & coffee, kettle & toaster. No Airconditioner. After entering I had to ask the owner to adjust the wall fan. Then I had to get him to fix the hot water as there was none. There was no soap, shampoo, conditioner or tissues provided. There was no milk for tea & coffee. The bedside lamp globe blew out late at night as I turned it on. Theres a private courtyard at the rear. The owner was less than professional but was helpful & curtious. Bed & pillows were average in comfort.

Do not stay here !!!!!!cockroaches in cutlery draw and ants everywhere stains all over the carpet we didn’t get told there was a switch behind hidden behind the kettle to turn on the fridge so we lost all our cold things and owner was very rude when I spoke to him about it

Carpet filthy, needs steam cleaning, no milk for tea and coffee, fridge seal needs replacing does not hold fridge door shut properly. Shower taps fall off when you turn them, no cooling except for a fan . Needs someone to do some work could be a nice place. Reception needs a clean and pick up, staff just ok

Stayed here for 1 night whilst visiting the area on holidays. Room was large, older style and in much need of a makeover, but quite comfortable for a good night sleep. The bed itself we found ok. Enjoyed the individual bbq for each room with your own little courtyard. We were able to cook up a lovely dinner here. The location is great, handy to shops. Also was nice and quiet overnight. Had parking close to room. Could do with a makeover, then would be an awesome place to stay.

No soap in room, had to ask for some at reception. Owner/Manager is vague. Check your transactions on your bank account, I stayed one night, paid by credit card on the day and six days later was charged again for the same night. Couldn't make sense with the owner so had to dispute the transaction with my bank.

Half hour check-in whilst the manager tried to find my online booking and accept that this technology was actually real. Parking was tight but fine, and the room was spacious and well equipped… almost! Middle of winter and the only heating provided is a tiny oil heater. The fridge is also turned off until you switch it on. Therefore no milk was provided. I was also asked if I had my own soap and shampoo. Obviously another small saving when I said I did. It’s a great location and although it needs an update it’s ok value for money. Just be aware it’s cold! The oil heater does not heat the room in winter. This needs addressing. Everything else was fine. I’d pay an extra $25 night if they had a good reverse cycle air con 👍

Overall it was old - and poor value. Needs lots of work... carpet filthy, dripping taps, no air-conditioning, power-points all mixed up. Cold all the time as the eletric heater was useless. Poor attitude at welcome. Poor kitchen set-up. No soap and no milk. Not recommended.
