The Best Western Premier Sofraga Palacio is a brand-new 4 Star Hotel located in the historical city of Avila and encompasses the famous and majestic Romanic Wall. The hotel is part of an extensive restoration to the original 16th century palacio, its design retains all the charm and elegance of the original palace, but with every modern comfort and convenience.
The hotel offers 27 high quality, luxurious and unique bedrooms and suites. Each bedroom and suite has a 43-inch Smart TV with Chromecast, air-Conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, safe, Nespresso coffee machine and high-quality luxurious bedding. Every room offers views of the Palacio and surrounding area, with some also overlooking the famous Avila Romanic Wall and the Cathedral.
Each morning guests can avail of a full and varied a la carte breakfast in the hotel. Room service is also available daily with a full-service menu. There is also our renowned on-site restaurant Restaurante Sofraga Palacio, that harmoniously blends the Romanic wall with modern aesthetics. The restaurant unites the most traditional dishes of the region with the most avant-garde flare. All the ingredients are sourced locally.

A beautiful hotel within the walls of Avila. Friendly staff, lovely room and amazing breakfast. Outdoor cafe also very pleasant place for wine and tapas.

The hotel is located inside Avila’s walls. This is a perfect location! There is a piece of this wall inside the hotel.
Staff was very kind and helpful.
Rooms very comfortable. I will return to this palace if I visit Avila again. Highly recommend it.

We were experiencing central Spain on a road trip.
We had booked this hotel for a couple of nights.
We spent a lot of our time exploring Avila which was busy with lots of tourists.
The hotel won our award for the best of our trip.
A lovely hotel with a well designed mix of old and modern.
All public areas were a delight to use.
Our room was very spacious with a large bed and sofa lots of storage space.
The bathroom was lovely with a walk-in shower
Breakfast was cooked to order with lots of choice and and no limit on what you could have.
The service offered by all members of staff was exceptional and their language skills hard to beat.
If we ever come back to the area we’d rebook in a heartbeat.
This may be a Best Western Hotel but one to definitely choose!!
