I stayed in this hotel in November 2024 for 4 Nights whilst on a business trip and my experience was significantly below my expectations for a supposedly 5 star hotel. I booked here at a short notice based on a local Tunisian friends advice. However, i understand that it seems that there standards have deteriorated significantly in the past months recently as they are currently undergoing a change of management to the Radisson Group. Upon Check-In, the staff at the reception was not efficient at all, it took them 1.5 hrs after my arrival before they could complete the formalities and allocated a room to me. The staff at check-in promised me she would be creating a Radisson Rewards account for me which did not happen to date. Moreover, during my stay there every night from 1am to 2am I was woken up loud music coming from the Nightclub in the hotel. To add to the horror, I decided to have dinner at the Dar Zmen Restaurant on one of the nights to find a hair in my lentil soup. After I pointed out finding a hair in my soup, the restaurant staff attempted to convince me that it was a carrot fiber which it was not! Taking the elevator from the 4th floor to the lobby was incredibly frustrating. It often took around 30mins for the elevator to arrive and when it finally did, it stopped on every single floor making the journey down unnecessary long. I shared my negative experience with the staff during checkout but all I received in response was a dismissive shrug as if there was no care for anything shared with them. I would never stay in this hotel again!
