Best accomodation in Ubud Very friendly and warm welcome ❤️ Perfect place for Ubud travel!

Great location (city center), very friendly and helpful staff. Quite rooms. A huge swimming pool. Great international breakfast, even a balinese option (black rise pudding is so yummie). The Spa with the professional masseuse are great.

We found Murni's via TripAdvisor reviews, and we're looking for a suitable base to then venture out and see the sights this part of Bali has to offer. Prior to our arrival, we had email communications with Murni who offered to help with all the nitty gritty, from organising a driver to collect us from the airport, to arranging trips for during our stay. This was very helpful, and any question I had was answered without any fuss. Upon arrival we came straight to our room which was exceptional for a family of 4, with a generous living area and two large bedrooms each with ensuite and balcony. The grounds are beautiful and the staff are beyond incredible, they want to help in any way they can. The property is close to the main road in Ubud, but somehow there is very little unsavoury noise, just wildlife and the sound of flowing water. Nearby are many shops, market stalls and a good walk to the monkey forest, and Campuhan Ridge is just a few minutes walk away. It's worth noting that the main road is extremely busy throughout the day, and navigating it can be tricky, but that doesn't reflect on this accommodation as its the same everywhere. There is a pool which the kids have enjoyed, although it's in a quiet shaded spot so not what the kids have been used to in the past - despite this they've still had a great time using it. The spa is outstanding, on our first day I had an express massage which was 45 minutes, and honestly it was the best I've ever had at an extremely reasonable price. And down the road, Murni's Warung - which I'll write a separate review for at some point- is quite simply incredible. Our family had 4 different main courses last night and each of them were as exceptional as the other. Overall, I'd highly recommend this as a great place to spend your first days in Bali, and luckily we still have 3 more nights here to go!

Murni’s Houses & Spa My favourite accommodation in Bali Murni’s place is very special. It is a tourist attraction in itself. It is from a bygone era so it oozes personality. The room we stayed had a verandah that becomes your loungeroom. This area has two fans, two couches and tea & coffee facilities and a bar fridge overlooking the garden. If you don’t want to walk down to Murni’s for dinner they will bring it to you. You can have it served on the dining terrace or on your own verandah. Don’t miss Murni’s food. It is the quintessential Balinese authentic food. Inside our room is a beautiful bedroom with windows with fly screens. So you can leave windows open for cross breezes. There is aircon and fans too. The decor is beautiful including a huge umbrella with an angel sculpture hanging down to greet you in the morning. Everything is thoughtfully designed. The wardrobe has lights inside, bedside table lamps and wall mounted lamps. The staff are very attentive and make you feel like family. Just down the back of the garden is a spa area. You can have all manner of treatments there. The grounds of the premises are beautiful with antiques, statues, orchids and a big old Rambutan tree. There are fountains so in the background there is always tinkling water. It is quiet area but 5 minutes walk from the action of the Main Street. There are 3 great walks close by; The Champuan Ridge The Sari Organic Trail Subak Juwuk Manus Trail There is a quiet lane that leads down between Bisma Street and the paddies and guesthouses. This leads to 3 of our favourite cafes-Warung Gauri, Honeymoon Kitchen and Cafe des Artists. Then there is the evening performances nearby with Pura Dalem’s Kecak and Firedance being our favourite.

Great deep tissue massage ..respectful and professional staff. The environment is fabulous even though it’s in the middle of town. I’m not sure why I can’t submit this review without the minimum 200 characters but I really think of anything else

Murni's house was a great place to stay! I love the authentic room I stayed. Staff were so friendly and helpful. Plus, please enjoy the spa there! Location was also great. Just around the corner, you can reach the center of the Ubud. If I go to Ubud again, I will definitely stay there again. Thank you!

A little gem hidden away in Central Ubud. I can’t fault this place at all. So peaceful, kindest staff ever, everyone so welcoming and helpful. Exquisite property! Comfy clean beds and rooms. Excellent service and food! Yummy! Love Murni and her staff. Highly recommended!
