We stayed at Rouge for two nights during my sister’s birthday week, drawn by its convenient location close to key attractions. The villa’s exterior was aesthetically appealing, and there were about six villas in total. During our stay, we noticed only 1-2 other families, likely due to the off-peak season. The room was clean and comfortable upon arrival. However, we encountered issues in the bathroom, such as black earthworms on the floor and ants and insects drawn by visible holes. Although initially manageable, these problems highlighted maintenance concerns. On the second night, the receptionist surprisingly asked about our check-out time, which was unusual. Later, upon returning to our room, we found that basic housekeeping tasks—washing cups, replenishing water, and cleaning the floor—had not been done. Dead insects had also accumulated due to rain, and calls for assistance went unanswered, as the reception had closed for the night. We left early the next morning, with the security staff performing the room check since no receptionist was present. Overall Impression: While the villa’s design was visually impressive, the service and practicality were severely lacking. Maintenance and customer service need significant improvement to provide a satisfactory guest experience.
