Banbury (M40, J11)

Wonderful staff, very attentive and proactive. Our parents stayed there as well and we all had a great night sleep. We specially liked the taxi booking system they had in which you push a button in reception and they tell you the taxi number and at what time is is going to arrive. They could include the opening hours in their menu as we didn’t know at what time they closed. There is no phone in your room so you have to go downstairs to order the food for it to be delivered to your room (and presumably pay there as well) The kiosk check-in wasn’t working so we had to wait for a person to arrive. The drop your card system for checkouts is great!

The stay overall was good. He had a very lovely and quiet room overlooking the Oxford canal in Banbury. The hotel is perfectly well located right next Castle Quay (main shopping centre in Banbury City Centre) There is an arcade right in front of the hotel with cinemas, restaurants, bowling, gaming meters away from the hotel. I would say the location is just great. As for the staff. They were NOT great. I believe they lack of proper training to receive, register and welcome guests.

perfect stay for a drunken night

非常不推薦，酒店默認的網絡速度非常慢，必須買5磅每天的快速網絡才能用；收走了我自帶的毛巾，僅告知衞生打掃是外包第三方的無法幫助尋找，另外我告知前台需要提前一天退房，最終不給退費。非常糟糕的一次體驗！

Stopped for an overnight break from a long drive. So good to have a warm and friendly welcome, great food and comfy room. If all Premier Inns were this good I wouldn’t bother booking anywhere else.

Stayed here for lazy sunday bank holiday: arrived at 2:45 (3pm check in) the foyer was deserted! Pressed the call button and was promptly greeted by the hotel manager. Was advised room would be a while as the previous guests all stayed until 12:00. On checking in later that evening only 1 lift was working so it took a little while to get up to 3rd floor. Room was clean and tidy but there was a strong smell of air freshener but it did go off after a few hours. We found the room very very hot and couldnt get the air con right..user error i imagine 🤣 We had a drink in the bar in the evening and it was well priced. Breakfast was nice enough, the staff were all working flat out but the food wasnt hot enough for my liking. On checkout day we were undortunate as the fire alarm went off. Staff had no idea what to do and i was shocked at the lack of training. I have contacted the hotel about this and will wait for a response.

Stayed at this hotel as we were in the area for a cricket match the next day which originally was going to be at the cricket ground next to the hotel. In the end the match was at Banbury cricket club but only 10 mins away so location perfect.

Absolutely loved staying. Staff were lovely, beds comfy. Even bought me a gift to say good luck and congratulations from the staff. Pleasantly surprised. Very happy. Thank u

Very nice and clean hotel, the breakfast was amazing and our dinner ( steak ) was delicious served by Sonia the Duty Manager, she was very helpful and Kay the Hotel Manager were on duty on Friday both ladies were very professional and helpful, Kay was very kind and gave my kinds some chocolate in our arrival and that made our day. Thank you so much from me and my family. We will be back.
