Es war die Überraschung zum Geburtstag: Amphawa Floating Market, Mae Klong Train Market und Übernachtung im Chuchai Buri Sri. Öffnet man die Hoteltür, Personal gab es dafür nicht, kommt man zunächst in eine sehr beeindruckende Halle. Das Auge weiß gar nicht, was es als erstes betrachten soll. Check in verlieren reibungslos, ab 14h00 das Zimmer verfügbar. Warten in der Lobby oder im Café auf der idyllischen Terrasse am Klong. Info über das fertige Zimmer gab es dann per Anruf. Das Zimmer im 1. Stock des Anbaus war sehr nett eingerichtet, hatte die ein oder andere Stolperfalle (Stufe ins Bad und . Stufe zur Toilette), die man sich besonders für nachts merken sollte. Aus der Frühstücksterrasse und dem Frühstück im 1.Stock des Haupthauses ließe sich mehr machen. Zumal man auch hier wieder den direkten Blick auf den Kanal hat. Die Getränke und Speisen im Café waren wirklich etwas für das Auge, was man sich allerdings auch bezahlen ließ. Die Preise hatten schon ein sehr homes Niveau. Die Lages des Hotels zum Floating Market war ideal. Am Ufer des Kanals entlang, vorbei an teils geschlossenen Geschäften geplant man in kürzester ins Zentrum des Marktes. An unserem Wochenende wurden die Stände bereits gegen 20h00 abgebaut und geschlossen. Aber wir haben ja noch das Hotel. Irrtum um 20h30 war alles dunkel, Service gab es nirgendwo mehr und selbst Automaten gab es keine. Besorgt Euch rechtzeitig etwas für den Abend. Bezaubern waren die Damen an der Rezeption, als es um die Fahrt zum Mae Klong Train Market ging, mit Ihrem Organisationstalent. Zwar gab es beim Preis ein Missverständnis, was das „Taxi“ Kosten sollte. aber das Bringen und Abholen hat hervorragend geklappt. Danke dafür. Das Chuchai Buri Sri ich zweigeteilt: der öffentliche Bereich, willkommen auch bei posenden Menschen für die Social Medias, bietet sehr viel zum Sehen und sich Wohlfühlen. Dieses lässt man sich auch gut bezahlen. Der Hotelgast erhält eben das, was er gebucht hat. Dach über dem Kopf, ein lieblos präsentiertes Frühstück mit Filterkaffee auf der Warmhalteplatte (Cappuccino oder Latte Macchiato gibt es nur im Cafe) einzeln verpackte Zutaten, Butter in der Wärme geschmolzen. Sicherlich ist es ein meckern auf hohem Niveau, doch habe ich hier den Eindruck: Mehr Schein als sein. Und es war trotzdem schön !

We booked two rooms for 5 people. This room was booked as a standard room for two people and gave a big triple room. It is really exciting to be in the coconut grove and driving along the way to see the coconut grove. Coconuts are cheap at RMB 2 each. It is a distance from the Meigong train market. It is best to travel here by car. After breakfast, I met the owner of the resort Chen who took us around the coconut village. We were very excited to learn some coconut knowledge. Figure 2 Coconut seedlings, Figure 3 one-year coconuts, Figure 4.5 3 years of adult coconut trees, can bear fruit continuously for 50 years. This is really a veritable coconut resort.

I chose to book at Khum Damnoen Resort to have an authentic experience near the floating markets and the Mae Klong railway market. Being used to five-star hotels, I was curious (and a little anxious) to see how this local option would fare in terms of comfort and services. We opted for a lakeside villa with a jacuzzi, which turned out to be a real haven of peace despite a few areas under construction. However, the room was strangely narrow and had a low ceiling. The bathroom clearly left something to be desired: it was small, not air-conditioned, and had an impossible-to-close window that let in heat and humidity. There was also very little storage space, both in the bathroom and in the bedroom, which is not suitable for long stays. However, it remained well equipped with bathrobes, slippers, welcome products, and a minibar. A negative point was the key to the safe, huge and with the room number written on it, which was not practical at all and even counterproductive in terms of security and confidentiality. The hotel has a very large swimming pool, but there were no lounge chairs available except those reserved for the poolside villas. Khum Damnoen Resort also offers various services such as massages, River Kwai activities and bicycle rentals. We only stayed one night and didn't have time to enjoy it. Another disappointing aspect of the hotel is the lack of consistency in design. The different accommodation options seem to have no relation to each other. We observed: - lakeside chalets, with antler chandeliers, - a colonial building, covered in ivy, with corridors that look like a haunted mansion, - villas by the swimming pool, in front which are arranged the only deckchairs which must be occupied by those who use the swimming pool. They also had a slipper bathtub on the terrace, visible to all. Curious… Likewise, the furniture and decorative elements of the hotel, some of which are very cheap, seem to have been added gradually, thus contributing to this impression of incoherence. The staff was numerous, but often overwhelmed. Upon arrival, there were 5 or 6 receptionists crowded behind the desk for just two customers checking in. This impressive number of staff for not much was particularly felt in the restaurant where the service was long and very confusing. We walked around the restaurant when all the tables were free before being seated. There were a lot of giggling waiters. Mastery of English was extremely limited, mr. I originally did not book this place but as it is Songkran period and I am unable to get another resort nearby, I took a leap of faith and book this homestay. What an experience I got in return. This is one of the most cosy place I have ever stayed in Thailand for the past many years. The hotel staff and boss is very friendly and warm and do everything they can to make you feel comfortable. You can see they really take pride in their work and is proud to work here. They have limited English proficiency compared to a normal BKK hotel but still good enough to communicate. The customers consist mainly of Thai people from my observation but there are a few foreigners like me too. The hotel dining area has a view to die for , you can hang around here whole day and you can order food and drinks from their menu or you can buy elsewhere and eat here. The staff is chill about this, which is great. The activity offered from the hotel are fire fly watching for 60B per person at 8pm and give offering food (50B per person) to monk who will come by in the morning at 6AM, both which are very cheap for hotel related activity. Walking distance to the famous amphawa floating market area. The rooms are authentic and declared in Thai fashion. The garden area is very nicely decorated and there is a small bar playing music near where the room is. If you walk outside the hotel, there are other Thai people staying nearby so this give you a great insight of how Thai people live in amphawa area. The breakfast are really good with many Thai kanom (desert) with fried eggs and pad Thai every morning. There is not much for lunch and dinner but if you are ok with mainly vegetable, you can have a good meal too (FOC). I am suppose to stay for 3 days but I extend it 6 instead as I love it so much. A great must try experience if you want to experience how to live like a Thai person. the name is so appropriate , Baanrak which means house love in Thai language.

It's a quiet place. Relaxation that's worth it. Sleep so comfortably that you don't want to go back. There's offering food to monks, breakfast, and a spa massage. On the day you go, the road entering from Bangkok has a bridge built, making it inconvenient to travel. But this is not considered an obstacle. If I have time, I will choose to come back and stay again. The room I chose is private. Stay in room number 1.

I have returned to China, the hotel is a very cute cabin, the room is clean, the breakfast is rich and delicious, the landlord is very enthusiastic, the hotel is a long time away from Maeklong Railway Market and the floating market, because I want to see the fireflies in Amphawa and don’t want to rush When I went back, I chose to spend the night with my boyfriend. As soon as I checked in, the landlord told us the route. It took a few minutes to get a tuk-tuk to Maeklong Railway for 60 baht and it was very close. It’s ok to walk to the Amphawa Floating Market for more than ten minutes. I went to the floating market to eat first, watch the sunset, make a boat and watch the fireflies leisurely. In the evening, I played with fireworks at the door of the wooden house. The next morning I went to Maekong to watch the train. Anyway, it was very pleasant. When I went to Maekong, the landlord was on the way. Drive us past, thank the landlord for the hospitality, and will stay at see you☺️

The rooms are beautiful, clean, like the photo corner at the pool. Considered a public corner Anyone who goes must have a picture of bang. Definitely upload social And there are activities such as kayaking and saddleboards to play as well In the evening, eat along the Long River from Idin the river cafe which is in the hotel. The atmosphere is very good, the view is very beautiful, late at night, anyone who is hungry again has a snack and juice in the room, no need to pay extra. I recommend anyone who goes with family or girlfriend or is a friend gang, it is very suitable.

The room is clean, the room is very spacious. There are complete facilities, like the bathroom, there is a rain shower, strong water, bathe and comfortable. Who comes to Ratchaburi I recommend it. Convenient, close to the city, easy to find food, the owner takes good care of himself. Have a chance to come to rest again

Quite simply one of the highlights of our stay in Thailand. Firstly the room was large, had a very comfy bed, decent size fridge & plenty of seating. The bathroom was modern, clean and restocked everyday with shampoo, shower gel, towels etc. We were on the second floor and the large balcony was wonderful. We sat outside most evenings. The room was incredibly clean. The free breakfast was significant & full of variety. Not only was there coffee, juices, toast and jams, meats, salads & egg. But each morning we were also treated to home cooked specials including congee & chicken rice. All delicious. Breakfast is taken alongside the river which sits on the edge of the property. A really beautiful spot. In terms of location Amphawa floating market is just a 5 minute tuk tuk away from the property. It’s also walkable in around 20 minutes. In the other direction can be found a seven eleven, numerous riverside coffee shops & restaurants. There’s also several temples nearby. The maeklong railway market can be reached from the resort by tuk tuk in around 20 minutes. Alternatively you can take a Songthaew from Amphawa. A superb & very reasonably priced eatery can be found just outside of the resort’s main gate. Guests (including us) seemed to eat there most nights. Our hosts were wonderful and so kind. They even did our washing for us free of charge! It was such a pleasure to spend time at the resort. In fact the entire town was filled with some of the friendliest people we’ve ever met. I would highly recommend walking around the local area and seeing what you can find.

The customer service responded in a timely manner, and helped us communicate with the taxi driver when we checked out. The front desk lady was very gentle and polite. English was not bad. Living is very free, no one disturbs Water temperature and water pressure The surrounding scenery is also very good, the folk customs are simple And the doorman.
