I don’t usually write reviews but there are a few things I would like to mention so that others are not misled. Check-in was smooth. We initially had a room on the 34th floor facing east which was most farm land and small buildings, two days later we changed to the west side. This side was much better and the view was amazing. Unfortunately that’s where the positives end. The cleaning is extremely poor. On one of the days none of the bins were emptied, another time a dirty towel was left on the counter. The surfaces were not wiped. Long hair (we both have short hair) was found randomly on the floor throughout our stay. There are also a few amenities that are on the 22nd floor that are not opened yet and you can hear construction sounds depending on where your room is.
We went up to the bar for happy hour (5:30-7:30) at 6pm and were told there was no happy hour. The water draining in the shower was were slow and almost flooded the bathroom in our room 3419. When we talked to the staff at reception she said that it was slow due to the higher floors having smaller pipes (i’ve lived in high rise apartments for over 10 years and know this to be not true) Furthermore when we changed to room 3508 there was no issues with the drainage and the water went down smoothly even though it was a higher floor. The location is horrible and there’s nothing much around. There’s a Lawson supermarket at the lobby but that’s about it. So even though the price is cheaper, you need to take a taxi everywhere into the central locations, markets, malls etc. So it actually doesn’t make sense to stay there because you end up paying a lot for transportation. The lobby has a coffee bar, which supposedly closes at 9pm but at 7 I was told there’s no coffee because the machine had already been cleaned! I would suggest paying a little bit more and getting better service and location. This is definitely not worth it
