7 Days Premium Hotel at Icon Siam

Καλή σχέση ποιότητας-τιμής. Το δωμάτιο ήταν ευρύχωρο και καθαρό, και το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενικό. Μου παρείχαν καθαρές πετσέτες και δύο μπουκάλια νερό καθημερινά. Το δωμάτιο είχε βραστήρα, στεγνωτήρα μαλλιών και ΠΟΛΛΕΣ πρίζες για κάποιο λόγο. Υπήρχε επίσης μπιντέ στο μπάνιο. Η τηλεόραση είχε μόνο ταϊλανδέζικα κανάλια, αλλά το κράτησα ανοιχτό ως θόρυβο στο παρασκήνιο. Το Wi-Fi ήταν δωρεάν, αλλά δυστυχώς δεν λειτουργούσε για μένα ☹️ Η περιοχή είχε πολλά μέρη για φαγητό και το ξενοδοχείο ήταν απέναντι από ένα σούπερ μάρκετ, υπήρχε επίσης μια στάση λεωφορείου κοντά, ΑΛΛΑ ο πλησιέστερος σιδηροδρομικός σταθμός ήταν 15-20 λεπτά μακριά. Είναι αρκετά κοντά στο ICONSIAM, αλλά λίγο μακριά από όλα τα άλλα αν είστε τουρίστας. 🙂

Rating: 2/5 The staff were very nice, approachable, and accommodating. They were always willing to assist us, and we appreciated how easy it was to communicate with them. We also had no issues going in and out of the hotel at any time. However, our experience with the room and bathroom was quite disappointing, especially since it was our first time visiting Bangkok. The room was very dirty and had a strong unpleasant smell. The curtains were also visibly dirty and needed better cleaning. Even the bathroom tissue provided to us appeared to have been previously used. Because of these issues, we decided to transfer to another hotel, even though the staff offered to move us to a different room. We did raise our concerns with the staff, and I hope the hotel can improve its overall cleanliness and maintenance. The rooms, cabinets, curtains, bathroom, bed linens, and bed sheets all need to be checked and cleaned more thoroughly before guests arrive. The bed itself was comfortable enough to sleep in, but unfortunately, the linens and room did not feel clean and had an unpleasant smell. We even had to improvise by using Downy just to help freshen up the smell in the room. Another concern is the key card. Guests should ideally be provided with two key cards upon check-in. In our experience, we were only given one and were told that we would need to pay for an additional card. I hope the hotel can consider providing two key cards as standard for each room instead of charging guests for the second one. Overall, we would give the hotel 2/5. We would give 4/5 for the staff because they were kind, helpful, and accommodating. However, the overall cleanliness of the hotel and especially the room needs significant improvement. The room, curtains, bathroom, cabinets, and bed linens should be cleaned and inspected more carefully to ensure a better experience for future guests.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an excellent stay at 7 Days Premium Hotel ICON! The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The hotel has a nice atmosphere, and the location is very convenient. Everything was great, and I really enjoyed my time here. The service was excellent and the overall experience was beyond my expectations. I would definitely recommend 7 Days Premium Hotel ICON to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay. I’ll definitely come back agai

The room is spacious and near to Wat Arun. But the the bed frame is not sturdy. There are also tiny spots in the bed sheets. But overall, the hotel is well recommended. Thank you!

This hotel is located on an extremely busy and noisy street. So I was initially concerned as O’d asked for a quiet room. However, the reception staff allocated me a room at the back of the building on the 4th floor, which for most of the night was quiet. Except when a vehicle came thundering down a road at the back at 3am. The room was really big but also really empty. There is a large amount of space wasted due to a four foot wide pillar in one half of the room. After the huge expanse of room the bathroom is tiny, with a permanently open window, so always warm/hot. There is an open shower, but remarkably the water didn’t end up everywhere. The bed was a king and the half I slept on quite comfortable. The only issue I had to the aircon unit pointing directly at me giving me a head cold. The furniture and fittings are cheap but so is the price. So you get what you pay for. I was only there for one night and in that respect it was fine, but I wouldn’t chose to stay for a week. My biggest issue with the hotel was that a 500THB cash deposit was required. It could only be paid in cash. This tells me that the clientele this hotel attracts are untrustworthy. I never carry cash with me so had to go to an ATM where I was charged 250THB to withdraw 500THB. This fee by ALL Thai banks is simply a rip off, in no way reflecting what It actually costs them to provide the service. I should know, I work for a UK bank. So, basically, the cost of my room 750THB was inflated by 250THB, a 1/3 surcharge. All to pay an unnecessary deposit. It also meant that when I got this 500THB back the next morning, I had to find ways to spend it as I don’t like carrying cash on me while travelling. I would NOT stay at this hotel again, preferring somewhere quieter, closer to transport, and not requiring a cash deposit. That said it may suit others who are just looking for a budget stay and have 500THB in cash on them.

The hotel is budget-friendly and located in a residential area. There are excellent supermarkets and fresh produce markets nearby, making daily life very convenient. The staff are friendly, and BTS Wongwian Yai is about a 15-minute walk away. It’s also close to Wongwian Yai Station—perfect if you want a local-style trip to Maeklong Market via Maha Chai on the local train.
