Oakwood Studios Sukhumvit Bangkok

The Oakwood Hotel’s staff are all friendly, especially the cleaning staff who are always greeting and friendly with the biggest and happiest smiles! The Premier Studio I booked was great. It’s got an ironing board and iron, kitchen with fridge and microwave, closet with a safe, big bathroom & shower, bidet toilet, bathroom amenities & a very comfortable bed! The TV also has quite a few international channels which was appreciated. The pool is small but great to cool off! The room was very clean, even the floors under the bed and sofa! Great job to the cleaning staff. The hotel is about a 10min walk to Thong Lo BTS Station which was convenient. NEGATIVES: The towels are horrible, old and stained with brown stains. The towels are also frayed. This even with the replacement towels. Cannot blame the cleaning staff on this issue. It’s a management issue. Considering the rates the hotel charges, they can at least invest in new towels. They are the worst towels I’ve ever had in hotels across Asia. Oakwood can definitely improve on this!

It’s OK to stay the room is not big, not small. The hygiene is no problem but the receptionist has bad manner.

The hotel is very well located, super clean, large, and has very beautiful rooms.

Service was good and friendly. We arrived late at night and had some minor issues at check-in which was promptly resolved. Room is very clean and tidy. An overall comfortable stay!

I recently stayed at the Oakwood studios hotel for a short trip and overall I had a positive experience. The hotel was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel's location was convenient and easily accessible, with plenty of dining options and 7/11 nearby. However, the noise level from neighbouring rooms and the hallway was a bit higher than I would have liked, but it didn't significantly impact my ability to rest and work. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for business travelers looking for a reliable and comfortable stay. It may not have all the bells and whistles of a luxury hotel, but it certainly gets the job done at a reasonable price.

Fantastic hotel ,located at Sukhumvit 36 street,5 mins walk away from BTS Thong Lo station .

It is very close to a main avenue and a subway station, every 30 minutes (during the day) they have a small shuttle from the hotel that takes you to the subway station. Nearby there are local restaurants and a 7 store. Is far away from the highlights, you can take the subway (similar cost like taxi but less time) or taxis. We reported on 3 occasions that the safe-box in the room was not working, the first time they went to check it and said they would change it during the day, but they did not. On the other two occasions they did not even go up to check it or give us any feedback. The staff in the reception is not friendly and only some speak English. On the other hand, the people at the travel agency are very nice and the tours with them are not expensive
