Would have been good in the summer, but the tents are not warm enough for autumn and winter weather in Maine. The portable heaters are not sufficient. We had no appetite to use the outdoor pool given how cold it was.
The main building is nice, with decent food and drink options. Staff are also very polite and helpful. The wider area is ok, with the National Park being the main attraction.
Ultimately, I think the cost is far too high to stay in what is essentially a big tent. I’ve stayed in 5 star hotels that cost the same and provide a much better experience.
For anyone that’s not aware, the tents are not lockable, so there is also a risk of people getting into your tent whilst you’re out. They open using a zip and there’s little to no security at the resort. A safe is provided, but you can hardly put all your belongings in a safe. Thankfully we had no issues with stuff being stolen.
